TUSTIN, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 24, 2005--

Company Selected over Other Leading National Vendors, Will
Showcase Use of Voter Verified Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) to Public

AccuPoll Inc. (OTCBB:ACUP), a developer of Direct Recording
Electronic (DRE) voting systems, today announced that the company has
been selected over other prominent national vendors to conduct
Sunday's endorsement election for the Democratic Committee of
Allegheny County. Members of the party will be casting their ballots
using AccuPoll's federally qualified electronic voting machines, which
feature a voter verified paper audit trail.
"AccuPoll has long been the leader in voter verified paper audit
trail electronic voting systems," said Frank Wiebe, president of
AccuPoll. "The Democratic Committee of Allegheny County understands
the value of a verifiable paper audit trail and the reliability of
AccuPoll's federally qualified electronic voting machines. This will
be an excellent opportunity for us to demonstrate to Pennsylvania how
a voter verified paper audit trail can help ensure voter and
administrative confidence in election results."
AccuPoll designed their electronic voting system to feature a
voter verified paper audit trail (VVPAT), which allows voters to
verify -- via an immediately printed paper audit trail -- that their
vote was accurately recorded at the time it was cast. As a result,
AccuPoll's VVPAT system fully empowers voters to independently ensure
that their vote is correct at the time it is cast, allowing for an
accurate recount and audit capability should the need arise.
AccuPoll's voting system also features an intuitive touch-screen
user interface that guides each voter through the voting process while
preventing overvotes and undervotes. Each voting station features
Braille keypads, audio ballot capabilities, modifiable screen view and
multiple language support, fully complying to HAVA accessibility
requirements.
An expected 2,600 members of the Democratic Party of Allegheny
County are scheduled to cast their ballots on Feb. 27 between 10 a.m.
to 5 p.m. at the IBEW Hall, South Side, 5 Hot Metal St., Pittsburgh.

AccuPoll Holdings Rated 'Speculative Buy/4,' By Investrend Analyst Stephanie Loiacono, CFA

Business Editors

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 28, 2005--
(Investrend Research Syndicate) AccuPoll Holdings
(OTCBB:ACUP) has received a 'Speculative Buy' rating from Investrend
Research analyst Stephanie Loiacono, CFA, who in a Criterion report
said the downside risk is fully priced in and the potential for price
appreciation on positive developments is high.
Noting that AccuPoll is a start-up technology company founded in
2001, which develops and markets a federally qualified electronic
voting system, and although the company "has not yet generated revenue
from their product," Loiacono stated "we believe the Company's
technology is the right solution at the right time for verifiable
voting systems."

The analyst further noted:

The market opportunity for AccuPoll's products and services is
sizeable. Following problems during the Presidential elections of
2000, Congress established HAVA, which authorized $3.9 billion to
upgrade election systems. We believe AccuPoll is uniquely positioned
to capture market share.
The Company's direct recording electronic (DRE) voting system
provides a voter-verified paper audit trail ("VVPAT") that is both
human and machine readable.
AccuPoll's system was qualified as meeting federal voting system
standards on March 25, 2004.
At least seven states have passed legislation requiring a VVPAT.
Since December 2004, another 13 states have introduced legislation.
This feature is already designed into the Company's system, as opposed
to adding a printer module as some competitors must now do.
As of January 31, 2005, AccuPoll's DRE voting system was certified
by nine states.
These competitors enjoy greater financial resources and economies
of scale than AccuPoll, which are key considerations. Still, we
believe AccuPoll has a competitive edge, based on: 1) having achieved
federal certification relative to the latest 2002 standards, 2) its
open source/open standards technology which are transparent, secure
and adaptable, 3) its Voter Verified Paper Audit Trail and 4) its
multiple language capabilities.

AccuPoll Successfully Completes Qualification Testing to More Stringent 2002 Federal Voting System Standards; First VVPAT Voting System to Complete Testing to 2002 Standards
Business Wire - April 07, 2005 08:00

TUSTIN, Calif., Apr 07, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- AccuPoll, Inc. (OCTBB:ACUP), a developer of Direct Recording Electronic (DRE) voting systems, today announced that independent testing authority SysTest Labs has completed qualification testing of the company's voting system for compliance with the 2002 Federal Election Commission Voting System Standards.

SysTest Labs will now submit testing results to the National Association of State Election Directors (NASED) for review and assignment of an official federal qualification number. Assignment of a federal qualification number will allow AccuPoll to pursue certification in states that require voting system qualification under the 2002 Federal Election Commission Voting System Standards.

"This is a significant event because AccuPoll becomes the first company with a voter verified paper audit trail (VVPAT) to complete testing under the more stringent 2002 Federal Voting System Standards," said Frank Wiebe, president of AccuPoll. "States such as Illinois, Missouri, North Carolina and Kentucky require that voting systems be federally qualified under the new standards. Successful completion of this testing attains a major milestone for AccuPoll that our competitors have yet to reach."

AccuPoll last year received federal qualification for its electronic voting system under the 1990 Federal Election Commission voting system standards. However, as of January 1, 2005, any changes made to a voting system require that the entire system be tested and qualified under the revised 2002 Federal Election System Voting System Standards.

"In my opinion, SysTest Labs conducts the most rigorous and thorough testing possible and is the best qualified to test voting systems to the stringent 2002 standards," said Dennis Vadura, CEO of AccuPoll. "The result of this testing has provided AccuPoll with what we believe to be the best voting system available today."

AccuPoll designed their federally-qualified DRE voting system from the outset to feature a voter verified paper audit trail (VVPAT) and fully comply with the stringent requirements outlined in the "Help America Vote Act of 2002" (HAVA), the sweeping legislation that outlines the future of voting systems in the United States and earmarks more than $3.9 billion for updating America's voting infrastructure. The company is one of the few vendors of an electronic voting system that has incorporated a VVPAT into their federally-qualified system.

AccuPoll Receives Certification for Electronic Voting System in Louisiana; AccuPoll to Publicly Demonstrate System at Events Across State April 26-28
Business Wire - April 19, 2005 08:31

TUSTIN, Calif., Apr 19, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- AccuPoll Inc. (OTCBB:ACUP), a developer of Direct Recording Electronic (DRE) voting systems, today announced the receipt of state certification for its voting system in the state of Louisiana. The designation marks yet another state where AccuPoll's electronic voting system featuring a voter verified paper audit trail (VVPAT) is now available. AccuPoll has also been extended an invitation to participate in public demonstrations of certified voting systems across the state April 26-28.

"We appreciate the opportunity the committee gave us to demonstrate how our system fully complies with Louisiana voting standards," said Frank Wiebe, president of AccuPoll. "We look forward to presenting our system to local election officials from across the entire state later this month."

As a result of certification, AccuPoll will be eligible to market their voting system throughout Louisiana and continue participation in the state's RFP process. The state is expecting to receive more than $37 million in federal funds appropriated under the Help America Vote Act of 2002 (HAVA), with more than 90 percent of these funds earmarked for the replacement of the state's outdated lever and electronic voting machines.

AccuPoll designed their DRE voting system from the outset to feature a VVPAT, which allows voters to verify - via an immediately printed paper audit trail - that their vote was accurately recorded at the time it is cast. As a result, AccuPoll's VVPAT system fully empowers voters to independently ensure that their vote is correct at the time it is cast, allowing for an accurate recount and audit capability should the need arise.

Earlier this month, AccuPoll announced the completion of federal qualification for their system to the more stringent 2002 Federal Election Committee Voting Standards, which will allow the company to pursue certifications in states that require federal qualification to the more stringent standards.

AccuPoll System Scores High Marks for Accessibility; Those Who Tested AccuPoll System Consistently Provided 'Very Good' or 'Excellent' Ratings
Business Wire - May 03, 2005 08:30

TUSTIN, Calif., May 03, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- AccuPoll, Inc. (OTCBB:ACUP), a developer of Direct Recording Electronic (DRE) voting systems, today announced that their voting system received rave reviews during recent demonstrations at the New Jersey Library of the Blind and Handicapped. The event, which included competing vendors of electronic voting systems, was held to provide the opportunity for people with disabilities to learn about and evaluate features allowing many to vote unassisted for the first time.

AccuPoll's system received overwhelmingly high ratings, with a vast majority of those who evaluated the electronic voting system providing either "very good" or "excellent" marks. Evaluators also responded favorably to AccuPoll's voter verified paper audit trial, which allows voters with visual impairments to audibly review the permanent paper audit trail as their ballot is cast.

"Providing a fully accessible system that can be used by all voters has been a primary goal of AccuPoll since its inception," said Dennis Vadura, CEO of AccuPoll. "We have committed a great amount of research into providing the most inclusive and accessible system available, especially for those with disabilities."

A core component of the Help America Vote Act of 2002 (HAVA) is that all voting locations have a means by which voters with disabilities may vote unassisted by the first federal election of 2006. States across the country are currently evaluating voting systems that meet federal guidelines in order to comply with these new standards.

"HAVA and the American Disability Association specify very high standards that must be met," said Vadura. "AccuPoll stands ready to help election officials to meet these stringent standards."

AccuPoll Demonstrates Unprecedented Scalability in Successful Election for UAW Local 148; More Than 50 Voting Units Handle Thousands of Voters in One Location
Business Wire - May 27, 2005 09:00

AccuPoll Inc. (OTCBB:ACUP), a developer of Direct Recording Electronic (DRE) voting systems, today announced the successful completion of this week's runoff election selecting leaders for the United Auto Workers Local 148 (Long Beach). More than 1,600 UAW members cast their ballot on 50 AccuPoll voting units over the course of the day, demonstrating unprecedented scalability for one location.

"Yesterday's election was significant because it demonstrates how robust the AccuPoll electronic voting system can be," said Frank Wiebe, president of AccuPoll. "With more than 1,600 members casting their ballots at just one location, we were able to demonstrate that our system can handle a heavy single-day voter turnout. This is extremely important for election officials who are interested in consolidated and early voting options."

Competing systems typically allow for fewer than one dozen voting machines per location unless additional control units are included. These additional units, which are highly expensive, add complexity for election officials and increase the time required for ballot tallying. AccuPoll's system, however, provides election officials the opportunity to add many times more machines to the polling location without such additional control units.

"The AccuPoll machines helped us run a very smooth election with hardly any lines whatsoever," said Maureen Collie, chair of Permanent Election Committee, UAW Local 148. "Our voters were able to cast their ballots quickly and the election results were ready shortly after the polls closed."

AccuPoll designed their federally qualified DRE voting system from the outset to feature a voter verified paper audit trail (VVPAT) and fully comply with the stringent requirements outlined in the "Help America Vote Act of 2002" (HAVA), the sweeping legislation that outlines the future of voting systems in the United States and earmarks more than $3.9 billion for updating America's voting infrastructure. The company is the only vendor of an electronic voting system with an incorporated VVPAT that has been certified to the more stringent 2002 FEC Voting System Standards.

AccuPoll Receives Certification for Electronic Voting System in Kentucky; Company Makes Voter Verified Paper Audit Trail -- VVPAT -- Available to Jurisdictions in State
Business Wire - June 14, 2005 08:01

TUSTIN, Calif., Jun 14, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- AccuPoll, Inc. (OCTBB:ACUP), a developer of Direct Recording Electronic (DRE) voting systems, today announced the receipt of certification for its voting system in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. As a result, the company becomes the only vendor certified by the Kentucky State Board of Elections to provide an electronic voting system featuring a voter verified paper audit trail (VVPAT) that has been qualified under the more stringent 2002 FEC Voting System Standards.

"This is a significant event, as the Kentucky State Board of Elections has announced that all voting systems purchased with Help America Vote Act federal funds must be certified to the 2002 FEC Voting System Standards," said Frank Wiebe, President of AccuPoll. "The Commonwealth of Kentucky has already received $40 million in federal funds under the Help America Vote Act."

AccuPoll designed their DRE voting system from the outset to feature a VVPAT, which allows voters to verify "via an immediately printed paper audit trail" that their vote was accurately recorded at the time it is cast. As a result, AccuPoll's VVPAT system fully empowers voters to independently ensure that their vote is correct at the time it is cast, allowing for an accurate recount and audit capability should the need arise.

Before voting systems can be sold in their jurisdictions, most states require that voting systems be qualified under rigorous federal voting system standards and then undergo a certification process in their state.

Should see one more gap-up on this run. The gap's usually run in three's. A close above .175 should be all it'll take to create a big-volume gap-up tomorrow, not to mention a close above the major resistance. Normally I would try to sell the peak and buy back, but I don't think I'll risk it on this one. I'll hold for anything over .60.

i like this stock as well.......anytime it hit's .10 or lower i alway's pick some up and ride it out..........PAYDAY everytime so far....GL

Decent close, made 3 attempts to fall below .17, but managed to support. I know it's just wishfull thinking, but a positive PR tomorrow would probably eliminate any resistance whatsoever.

Not only is this another customer, but Erath county has over 33,000 population. Delta county only has about 5,000 and you saw the reaction on that one. We're talking 7x the population. This means more machines!

The State of Missouri requires that any DRE Voting System must be qualified under the 2002 FEC Voting System Standards and print a voter verified paper audit trail (VVPAT). "This is a major accomplishment for us," said Dennis Vadura, Chairman/CTO of AccuPoll. AccuPoll Announces ``SureCount(TM)'' The Next Generation of Direct Recording Electronic Voting; New DRE Features Offer Cost Effective Enhancements to Voter Confidence and Privacy
Business Wire - August 02, 2005 08:00

TUSTIN, Calif., Aug 02, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- AccuPoll, Inc. (OTCBB:ACUP), a developer of Direct Recording Electronic (DRE) voting systems, today launched "SureCount" featuring groundbreaking new Proof of Vote (PoV) options for the company's next generation of DRE voting systems.

To further ensure voter confidence, AccuPoll has developed new options for its voting system that can now operate in one of two modes: AccuPoll "standard mode" (PoV not scanned), or "SureCount" mode (PoV scanned). In SureCount mode, only the PoV that has been scanned will be counted in the election tally. In the new mode, if a voter leaves the polling place with a PoV, then the corresponding electronic ballot is not cast and is not counted.

"AccuPoll is building upon the most secure system in the industry and making it better by adding intuitive and desirable options that exceed today's requirements," said William E. Nixon, president & CEO of AccuPoll. "We developed SureCount in response to input from existing customers and market demand. SureCount offers new alternatives for jurisdictions where a paper ballot is the official ballot," stated Mr. Nixon.

AccuPoll also announced that additional features are being added to the Company's DRE voting system to further promote the privacy of disabled voters. These features were introduced in response to feedback from the disability community and implemented with an eye on compliance with the proposed Voluntary Voting System Guidelines (VVSG) being considered by the Election Assistance Commission. The new features include 1) suppressing the display of the visual ballot on the screen -- when a blind voter is voting using the audio ballot; and 2) suppressing the printing of a voter's ballot selections in human readable form on the PoV. Whether these options are active is selected by the voter and in either case full read-back of the PoV is always available via the audio PoV read-back facility.

AccuPoll was the first vendor to qualify a DRE voting system with an integrated VVPAT under the 2002 FEC Voting System Standards, which allows voters to verify -- via an immediately printed paper audit trail -- that their vote was accurately recorded at the time it was cast. As a result, AccuPoll's DRE voting system fully empowers voters to independently ensure that their vote is correct at the time it is cast, allowing for an accurate recount and audit capability should the need arise.

AccuPoll Receives Pennsylvania State Certification; Company's Voting System First to Be Certified By Pennsylvania Secretary of the Commonwealth
Business Wire - August 10, 2005 08:00

TUSTIN, Calif., Aug 10, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- AccuPoll, Inc. (OTCBB:ACUP), a developer of Direct Recording Electronic (DRE) voting systems, today announced that its DRE voting system is the first touch screen voting system to be certified by the Pennsylvania Secretary of the Commonwealth since the passage of the Help America Vote Act of 2002 (HAVA). The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is requiring any voting system purchased with federal funds allocated pursuant to HAVA to be certified to the 2002 FEC Voting System Standards.

"This is a major accomplishment for us," said William E. Nixon, president and CEO of AccuPoll. "With this state certification in hand, AccuPoll is now certified to sell its voting system and conduct elections in Pennsylvania. The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania requires that any electronic voting system deemed to be HAVA compliant must meet the 2002 FEC Voting System Standards. Consequently, no new electronic voting system can be certified in Pennsylvania without meeting those standards."

The Secretary of the Commonwealth has structured voting system upgrade funding programs to encourage county authorities to purchase a single HAVA compliant precinct count electronic voting system that can be used by all voters, including individuals with disabilities, because it would be the most efficient use of Federal, State and local funds. To date, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has received over $100 million in federal funds under Title II of HAVA. Most of these funds will be made available to counties to upgrade their voting systems to fully comply with HAVA.
