This is topic looking for a broker to short PINKS/OTCBB stocks in forum Micro Penny Stocks, Penny Stocks $0.10 & Under at Allstocks.com's Bulletin Board.
Anyone know what broker exists that would let me short pinks etc. ?

I knoe some overseas brokers that allow this, but US based is what I'm looking for .

You can't. You have to have an offshore account. If the average investor was permitted to short pinks, we would all be rich. All you would have to do is short AFRD (or whatever it is called these days) after each of its 5 R/S a year and cover at .0001. The minumum price to short a stock is $5.

So, are some (or all) of the MM's we are up against (and known for shorting) from offshore? If they are, do the new rules even apply to them?

As far as I know you can't short stocks with a US broker that you can't borrow the stock to do it.
Which means there is no 5 limit as law. Most US brokers do have a 5 minimum rule though. The rule for many smaller brokers is set by their clearing firm.
As an example LU is trading at around 3.50 and as of this am their are 19,000 shares to short with my broker and yes I could short it.
I use more than 1 broker and the one I am refering to here is www.usdb.com .
