Yeh I think these should do well by at least end of first '05. Also I contacted the medical show that Alexander Haig hosts, and they stated that the interview with HEE Corp. is supposed to air end of October...no confirmed date yet. I thought that should be good with a PR soon...as well as their new study...if it gets going that is...jeez already. COMON EVERYBODY LET'S MAKE SOME CAKE BEFORE XMAS '04!!!

I think you have some good picks, too. Just be patient, and take profits where you can. Then always buy again when it dips!

ARGD just increased the bid again. Thinking we're going to see 0018 again.

Does anyone know what these 5,000 shares are that keep popping up on the list of 'time $ sales' screen. Seems odd. Just curious.

Thanks.

Check out the latest SEC filing. I was told there was mention of a 1:100 reverse split tomorrow. Not sure of the date but I believe it is mentioned in the filing. Don't take my second hand information as correct, but check it out. I'm not in this or I would. Again, I got it second hand but worth checking.

Posted by sunny on :

I just checked in on nasdaq.com and there is no mention of AGRD and a split. If you have this kind of information, you should post this lastest SEC filing or at least give us the information where to look.

Thanks.

As far as I can see, this is edging up again.

I believe I'm reading it right. Look under "Other Events" section.

Posted by sunny on :

Thanks Skippy. I double checked Nasdaq and no mention. So I have a call into the company. I'll post what I get back.

Posted by sunny on :

Okay...found out that the big meeting is on October 22, 2004. Nothing will happen until this is voted on.

Also, you will notice that the Nasdaq does not show it listed as an upcoming split. So all is fine right now. Just watch and play until the Annual Meeting.

Sigh.

Called

From the 14A document:

"In a written action without a meeting, the Board of Directors (the "Board") of AuGRID Corporation (the "Company") has unanimously approved on August 19, 2004 a one-to-one hundred (1:100) split of the Company's outstanding common stock (a reverse split). The Board deemed the reverse split to be advisable in order to attract the additional equity funding that the Company needs to continue operations."

"A majority of the Company's stockholders, acting by written consent, has adopted the reverse split approved by the Board. The record date for the split will be September 27, 2004, and the effective date of the split will be October 7, 2004."

"On September 16, 2004, the National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc. and the OTCBB were notified of the impending reverse stock split and its effective date."

Bad news, but good catch, skippy.

Man I just read the SEC...jeez. I'm out at .0014. Thanks for the heads-up.

LICK ME MM's and your stupid ass big spreads!

Posted by sunny on :

I just called a gentleman who handles all of the company's investors...he his actually calling the company, because he was told that they were not doing the split until it was voted on. But I showed him the DEF14A Form, basically the one that Winsum pulled up, and this particular gentleman was calling to confirm. He said he will phone me back...

I also told him I was confused because I could not find it pending on the Nasdaq.com site with other companies listing impending splits...so I need clarification.

I will most definitely let you all know what I find out.

Good luck.

HI WINSUM!!!

Posted by sunny on :

Doesn't this have to be listed and filed with the Nasdaq before a split can occur?

Hey there, sunshine.

"On September 16, 2004, the National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc. and the OTCBB were notified of the impending reverse stock split and its effective date."

Posted by pick em low on :

Why does everything have to be a big scam... a PR right before reverse split? gee, what a coincidence...

Posted by sunny on :

Hi there "Handsome-Winsum!" I just can't find it listed on the Nasdaq site. It usually lists all of the upcoming splits. Oh well.

I'm still waiting for the guy to call me back. He sounded surprised...but no more than I...

IF I hear back, I'll post. I sold my shares a little while ago. Originally I was up $200 but instead sold at a loss...down $131.

GRRRRRRR!

Posted by sunny on :

Pick em Low...at least you can pick them...My stock radar must have blown a damn gasket!!! I can't seem to pick a decent one these days. Figures.

Hope you made a profit.

P.S. TSBB, now TSBI basically did the same thing...yes, I owned that one at the time, too. GRRRRRR.

small profit

Posted by sunny on :

SKIPPY! Thanks for the BIG heads up on this one. You saved a lot of people some money.

The gentleman that I spoke with twice this morning has not called me back. He sounded quite surprised about this proposed split, but told me he would make some phone calls and then call me this afternoon. As of 3:45 my time, he has not called.

Thanks Again, Skippy...and my wonderful WINSUM!!

Pick em...glad to know you managed to get something back.

Is AGRD showing up as AGRI to anyone else today?

Posted by SCS on :

DID THEY ALREADY DO THE REVERSE SPLIT TODAY?????

MINE IS SHOWING AS AUGRID AGRI 0.12

Posted by sunny on :

It appears that the split did occur.

The person I spoke with yesterday (twice) was going to confirm the split, but of course he never phoned back. So I sold my shares yesterday for a $131 loss.

They planned on doing this split on the heels of a pretty good pr yesterday...tsk.tsk. Bad investor relations if you ask me.

I will not buy this one again...nor will I buy TSBI...they did the same thing.

Good luck to you.

tsk tsk is right sunny. Those Bastages could have made the company look a little less of a Bait -N- Switch operation. I tell ya though it'll be back at .001 soon, and then maybe I'll pick a small meal.
Until then!

HOUSTON, Oct 14, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- AuGRID Corporation (AGRI) announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, Alysium Corporation, has delivered on an initial order to supply super-high accuracy, Platinum RTDs (Resistive Temperature Devices) to SeaWorld.

On Monday October 11, 2004, Rex Little, Alysium's Division head delivered and assisted on the installation of the first five prototypes of the custom designed and built Platinum RTDs to the San Antonio Park. After testing the devices, Alysium expects to be awarded the contract as an official supplier to SeaWorld in this and other categories. The Custom built RTD device, which will be used all over the park to control the animal's habitat temperature, offers a solution to a problem currently facing park's maintenance crew. In addition, Mr. Little is currently analyzing several other solutions where Alysium's engineering team may be of help to the theme park conglomerate.

SeaWorld/Busch Gardens are part of the Busch Entertainment Group engaging in theme parks representative of a natural habitat for wild life.
