(OTC BB:MRKL.OB - News) (http://www.marklandtech.com), an integrated homeland security company, announced that on a preliminary unaudited basis, it has recorded revenue of approximately $6,250,000 for the month of August 2004. The majority of this increase in contract revenues is attributable to the recent acquisition of EOIR Technologies Inc. by Markland.

EOIR Technologies, Inc. has experienced strong sales revenue momentum in recent months as it continues to receive new contracts from Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security and other U.S. government intelligence agencies.

Markland CEO/Chairman Robert Tarini stated that, ``We want to give shareholders visibility into the new business model that we have created for Markland and we continue to be pleased with the progress achieved to date of integrating EOIR Technologies into our corporate operating structure.
