been in qbid for a little while. followed all the drama on the qbid thread. here is what i found for news in 2001:

message date:3/22/2001 1:33:53 PM
http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=63474

quote:
Olson said that GTN, now TTN, has 4,000 subscribers signed up to receive the signal through Dish Network for an extra $19.95 a month. Olson says all that TTN has to do to finalize the deal with Dish is make “a couple deposits,” which he says are ready to be made.

TTN’s contact at Dish, Eric Sahl, confirmed confirmed the planned start date of April 4. Still, Sahl said the relationship between Dish and TTN is not yet finalized and that TTN has yet to make the final financial deposits.

Sahl went on to say any advance publicity about the renewed relationship between Dish and TTN could squash the deal entirely; something TTN’s paid consultant, Renee Schenck, confirmed on Friday.

Despite the confidentiality agreement, Triangle Television sent faxes last week to Southern Voice and a number of other gay publications announcing the new launch date and seeking "trade advertising," under which the publications publish the ads for TTN at no cost and then receive a fee for every subscriber who joins the network. Schenck said he was unaware of the ad campaign and refused comment on whether it violated TTN's confidentiality agreement with Dish.

quote:
The network even changed its Web site address, from www.wearegaytv.com, to www.triangletelevisionnetwork.com.

Sahl refused comment on the name change or any other details about the Dish Network's partnership with TTN, referring all other inquiries about TTN to the Dish Network’s director of communications, Judianne Atencio.

Atencio would not comment about Dish’s negotiations with TTN, the projected start date or why Sahl said a published report about the new network could cancel the deal with Dish.

Atencio would also not comment about the channel’s new name, which one gay activist calls a subliminal pseudonym.

quote:
Rocky road to airwaves

This isn’t the first time negotiations between Dish and TTN have engendered controversy. TTN, then known as the Gay Television Network, ran advertisements in gay publications nationwide last winter, highlighting the partnership with Dish.

In response to the ads, Dish issued a press statement denying any contractual relationship with the gay network.

“Dish got a case of homophobia,” Olson said in a January interview, remaining confident, then and now, that the gay channel would eventually launch on the Dish Network.

BW1409 SEP 22,1999 9:18 PACIFIC 12:18 EASTERN

( BW)(CA-TRIANGLE-2)(QBID) Triangle MultiMedia to Take Legal Action

Business Editors

PALM SPRINGS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 22, 1999--Triangle MultiMedia Limited (OTCBB:QBID) announced today that it is beginning legal action against several individuals who are suspected of making false statements on Raging Bull Message Boards about the company and its management.
"We have isolated numerous instances where one or more, or possibly the same individual posing as multiple posters, has stated that Triangle MultiMedia would be stopped from trading by the Securities and Exchange Commission. These statements were posted on several boards and caused individual investors to panic and sell their holdings based upon the false statements of this individual," stated Gary Goldman, corporate counsel for Triangle MultiMedia Limited.
In the legal documents, another individual who management believes is working in concert with others to lower the price of the publicly traded stock stated in his own words that he had "shorted QBID at 3/8 through a Toronto brokerage." From legal documents, the individual then stated that upon covering he would "send a limousine to another poster to take her to work that day."
This self admission coupled with the conduct of this individual to conspire with others to drive down this stock is of legal concern to the company. "Freedom of Speech is one thing, but to abuse investors, management and this company with false statements and outright lies for personal gain is illegal. Individuals need to be held accountable for their manipulative statements and conduct, and that is what this legal action is all about," stated Goldman.

Safe Harbor Statements Under the Private Securities Reform Act of 1995: The statements contained herein that are not historical facts are forward looking statements that are subject to risk and uncertainties that could cause actual results to differ materially from those expressed in the forward looking statement.

I asked about the Mayor in the other thread. Just trying to figure out what BigTip is on to. Are you trying to get in touch with Ron Orden about the previous launch? That could be interesting. Can you give us a hint?

I've sent emails today (friday evening). No reply yet.

But it looks like it might just be a coincidence with the Names.

The guy who used to be on the board of Triangle Broadcasting Network with Frank Olsen was:

Ronald Orden

The Mayor for Palm Springs is:

Ron Oden (No r in Oden)

So most likely not the same guy.

I'll let you know when I get a response to my emails!

June 21, 2001 - LETTER FROM COMPANY.
To Our Friends and Supporters:

When will we hit the air? September 5, 2001.

We appreciate your patience as we go through the creation of our one-of-a-kind television network. It hasn't been easy. But rather than give you hype of promises, this will bring you up to date on our progress.

Perhaps you are unaware of the millions of dollars involved to get a new television network underway? New equipment, programming and talent are only a few of the factors required for a 24/7 operation. We have had to seek out investors, sponsors and advertisers to become part of our team. Our staff has had one focus only: to get the Triangle Television Network on the air.

There has been some concern regarding our change of name from the Gay Television Network to the Triangle Television Network. First, we have had complaints that "gay" has a prominently male orientation and, as we encompass all of our lifestyles, we felt this was a justifiable change. On a second level, we also found that the corporate world still has hang-ups with the term "gay" and while we do not wish to succumb to pressure from outside sources, we must always keep our main goal of getting the Network on the air at the forefront. So, please accept us as Triangle Television Network - a rose by any other name...

Thank you again for your tremendous support and your patience.

Sincerely,

TTN

It appears Loral SkyNet is the first half of the TTN distribution equation.

First the signal must leave Palm Springs, and must reach the wholesale distributor - whether that be a cable system on Long Island or San Francisco, or the DISH Network system.

Secondly, a wholesale distributor, such as your local cable system, or DISH or DirectTV, then must agree to make it available to their customers

QBID NOW BROADCASTING ON TWO CHANNELS !!!, , the signal is up and valid/good quality on Telstar 7, Transponder 1 , , KU Feed also available.... , Telstar 5, Transponder 5!!!

Sept. 6, 2001 NEWS. Palm Springs, CA,-- Frank Olsen, President of Triangle Multi-Media Limited, Inc, (Symbol: QBID) announced today the company's successfully launch of TTN and its schedule of programming on Wednesday, September 5th Pacific Standard Time. Thereafter, Triangle Television Network hereinafter (TTN) will broadcast gay and lesbian programming 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Sept. 6, 2001 QBID posts FAQ on website.
1. What is the Triangle Television Network?

The Triangle Television Network (TTN) launched on September 5, 2001. TTN is the world’s first television network broadcasting television programming exclusively devoted to the gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgender (GLBT) communities. The network is approximately 75% gay owned and 80% gay operated. TTN has been in the development stage for over 8 years.

Our mission is to provide high-quality programming designed to entertain, educate and inform the GLBT community. TTN wants to bring the gay world to your home with programming created especially for you.

2. How do I receive TTN?

TTN offers an open-tier, digital signal available on TelStar 7, Transponder 1 located at 129 degrees west longitude. The footprint for our signal covers the continental US, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Vancouver, Canada.

If you do not have the proper sophisticated C-Band equipment to view TTN, your cable company or satellite provider must carry the signal. We wish you could just flip a switch and begin viewing TTN; but, of course, the television broadcast business is not that simple.

As people begin to request TTN and we show the cable and satellite providers that TTN will generate enough revenue to justify being carried by them, I assure you they will carry us. But you must call in and request TTN.

The TTN signal is available to all cable companies within our footprint. Also, our signal is available for both major satellite providers, DirecTV and The Dish Network. Additionally, the TTN signal is available for the smaller private satellite systems that provide service to gated communities, hotels and apartment complexes. If you want to know more about receiving TTN with a smaller, private system, please contact Ron Foster in our engineering department for service information.

For individual residential users that would like to view TTN, there are two steps you need to follow:

Step 1: Contact your local cable or satellite provider and tell them “I want my TTN”. (See below if they tell you they have not heard of TTN)

Step 2: E-mail us with your zip code. This information will assist us as we solicit the cable companies that are most in demand by you, the subscriber.

BONUS STEP: Tell your friends to do the same.

If you do not know who your local cable provider is, then e-mail us (paris@triangletelevisionnetwork.com) and we will let you know.

People that have the proper C-Band equipment can receive TTN from the satellite coordinates above.

3. Is TTN a subscription channel?

Once TTN becomes available through your local cable or satellite provider and you are able to become a subscriber, you will receive a free 30-day viewing period, after which your monthly subscription fee of $14.95 will be billed by your local cable company or satellite provider.

4. How do I contact TTN?

TTN is always looking to enhance our product and service. We are open and ready for suggestions from the community. Please contact us at 760.322.1217 or by email (paris@triangletelevisionnetwork.com).

5. What is the TTN programming standard?

We consider TTN a family channel. Just because we offer gay and lesbian programming does not mean we are pornographic. Our broadcast standards are the same standards that channels such as Showtime and HBO adhere to.

TTN programming will consist of a combination of originally produced programming, gay and lesbian oriented movies, local programming from various cities across America, serials from around the world as well as special event programming. Future plans call for the development of both a full-scale news department and news magazine programs skewed to the gay and lesbian community. Additionally, TTN will broadcast a variety of locally produced programs, such as Gay Court and Gay Bandstand, as well as gay sitcoms. We will also cover national gay events, such as AIDS Conferences and Gay Pride events worldwide. Our Gay Icon series will include features about artists, writers, actors and historical figures.

What should I do when I call my cable company or satellite provider and they say they’ve never heard of TTN?

The best answer is to say, “The TTN phone number is 760.322.1217. I am sure they would be delighted to send your company a media kit and licensing agreement for TTN. As a matter of fact, as a potential subscriber to TTN, I will call them myself for you. Please let me know whom I should have them send the media kit to.”

7. What is corporate doing to make sure TTN is going to be available so I may be able to view TTN?

Currently, we are continuing to negotiate with the two major satellite providers and several major cable companies to carry TTN. Beginning Sept 20, the TTN sales and licensing department will be aggressively contacting the remaining cable companies to solicit licensing agreements to carry TTN.

September 10, 2001 Letter From Frank...

I want to thank you all for your tremendous response. The Triangle Television Network has launched and testing is being completed. TTN ran selected programming during the test because we did not wish to offend anyone. The variety will increase after testing has been completed.

On Wednesday we will begin informing you how to receive TTN. I must remind you again that the fastest way is to contact your local cable company and request your TTN. Once you have done so, please email us with the name and location of your local cable company. If you do not know who your local cable company is, please email us with your zip code and we will provide you with this information.

February 14, 2002 Letter from Frank
Dear Shareholders,

We had a very productive meeting on Tuesday February 12th. It
was decided that more responsibility for day-to-day operations
would be given to Dick Weiner, Rene Schenk and Tom Zamora.

We also analyzed whether we should make an offer to purchase
the studio as there is only one year left on our lease. The
decision was made to ask for a one-year extension on our lease
with an option to purchase the building. That offer was made
yesterday and received a favorable response.

With this in mind we have decided to remodel the master control
room to meet the needs and demands of 24 hour a day
broadcasting. This is not extensive, but it is time consuming and
will consist primarily of installing back-up systems.

I will be going to the Boeing Company in Seattle for one day.

Jan. 10, 2003 - QBID threatens legal action over some posts on RB. People saying They've threatened legal action in the past, and nothing ever came of it. Probably because a) they couldn't afford it, and b) they knew they didn't really have much of a case.

Jan. 26, 2003 - Talks about launching is a better possibility now & The probability of a near term launch of TTN now appears to be rapidly accelerating.

Feb. 04, 2003 - Rumors say Watch for a nationwide Advertising campaign for TTN just as soon as Time Warner gives it's official O.K. for Launch.
also look for BIG advertisers like FORD to spend Big Bucks to get some this Gay money as well.

Feb. 6, 2003 - Ask moved up to .0004. People expecting a rapid move up. News rumors. Launch is probably imminent. They are still broadcasting to TW. Working out the audio and video glitches. Once that is done, channel needs to be assigned , need to decide on date to announce, and get free publicity, and paid advertising done, they should launch.

Feb. 7, 2003 BID now UP to 0.0003 ask 0.0004. Day high .0006. Up 100% throughout the day. People starting to dream about being rich with QBID again.

March 1, 2003 QBID must be getting ready to Launch, they have new ads out with entertainmentcareers.net looking for a few good People to work for them.

June 20, 2003 - From a poster. (skunksyard) Unofficial. Spoke with Frank Olsen...

Frank said he is now authorized to say that TTN has a 10 year contract with TWC....

From some questions I asked I got the feeling that the launch is more into the fall than this summer...

Frank was upbeat. Said QBID owns 100% of TTN. LBS is not a significant factor in QBID in terms of ownership.

Bobby Roger and Chris Powell will return for the launch according to Frank. Tom Zamora, and the original folks are still there and that is good news for me.

Frank will not discuss the details of the contract but to the question of *does the contract assure a launch* the answer is yes.

August - December NOTHING BREWED. Just mostly related Gay info talks. But I will end on this post from someone.

The night before Christmas - a la QBID.............:
"T'was the night before Christmas and all through the house
...not a PR was being edited by that fat, lying louse...
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care....
in hope Fedex would bring certs, worthless as they are...

The chlidren were nestled all snug in their beds,
while visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads.
Dicky Wiener in his 'kerchief and Fat Fwankie taking a crap...
were about to settle down for a long winter's "..nap...".

When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
B-17 tires crushed pup-tents - sending cold pizza a-splatter...!!!
Fwankie sprung a leak - drowning Dicky in schmatter,
as many threw up, and some tripped over dark matter....

Away to the window, stockholders flew like a flash,
tearing open the shutters and throwing open their sash....
The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below,

When, what to their wondering eyes should appear,
But a bulbous pink carriage and eight tiny nude queers,
With a pudgy old driver, fumbling furtively with his pricque,
we knew in a moment it must be Fwankie Olsen's schtick,

More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
(..someone will have to clean that mess up later..)
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name:

"Now, DASHER! now, DANCER! now, PRANCER and VIXEN!
On, COMET! on CUPID! on, DONDER and BLITZEN!
(..We'll take a short Commercial break -
while they get back off of each other..)
To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!
Now whack it, and whack it, and whack it – ya’ll…!!!

As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an another, they mount in the sky,
So up to the house-top the coursers they blew,
With the coach full of Vaseline and Fat Fwankie too.

And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof
The prancing and pawing of each little goof.
As I drew in my hand, and was turning around,
Down the chimney Fat Fwankie came like a clown.

He was dressed in pink fur, from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and smut;
A bundle of certs he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a hooker just opening her pack.

His arse how it twinkled - its dimples so glare-y!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!
His droll little mouth was twisted up like a HO,
And the scum on his tummy was as white as the snow;

The stump of Dick Wiener held tight in his teeth,
And the stench of it encircled his head like a wreath;
He had a broad face and a huge bloated belly,
That shook, when he chortled like a bowlful of jelly.

He was chubby old grunt, a left-leaning old elf,
And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself;
A wink of his eye - and a limp wag of his wrist,
Soon gave me a clue to double my fists;

He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And fired up the Xerox like s scheming old jerk,
And laying his finger aside of his nose,
He stuck his thumb up his arse and up the chimney he rose;

He sprang to his carriage, to his gaggle gave a giggle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight,
"HAPPY 2003 - YOU’VE BEEN WELL SCREWED TONIGHT..!!!"

Ok. I have questions & I'm sure you do. If they did launch in Sept. 5, 2001, what the hell happened that they came off the air? And why would they announce a new launch date in 2002 of May 15, and Sept. 2???? I thought they had launched. Maybe I'm not reading it right or I might have missed something.

Yahooooo! Great 1Big. That must have been the poster JmHollen who wrote that "twas the night..." what a crazy, creative guy!!
He had me laughing pretty hard through some of his posts!!

12,000+ posts, plus all posted links read in the past... well since 6pm last night.

Many posts calling FO a liar, particularly 2002, early 2003. BUT... zero actual "dirt" dug-up & posted regarding this company. Not even the rumor of "dirt" on FO or his companies posted. I might have missed a few posts, but proven, or rumored "dirt" surely would have lasted longer then a few posts.

Ah yes, one piece of dirt. A new poster, copied a post from another board, where that poster asked about the SEC in Atlanta and was that TNN. (Or whatever it was called back then) The posters on the 2nd board then asked the new poster to provide something of substance rather then a copy of some other posters question from another board. Never did get back to them and end of story.

All in all?? My thoughts after all those posts? 2004 is sharper. Fewer delays. The delays have been minor time delays rather then weeks & months. What's been promised in PR statements has been delivered... to date in 2004.

What I do gather from all those posts and still true today is:
Frank needs a professional spokesperson. Period!!!
He does not remember what he says over the phone in friendly conversation and what gets put into the PR statements. He really needs to stop answering the phone a chatting with everyone.

Next big thing: Advertising campaign to begin on June 21st or June 22nd.

I do not recall an actual written or hotline announcement from the Q regarding the next definate PR date. Do you all have it?

I just read 1BIG... how the heck did you then type it all into condensed form?!!!
Yeeeesh!!!

THANK-YOU SO SO MUCH!!

Off to work gang!
To all Papa's... HAPPY HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!

1BIG. I am absolutely exhausted. I read those posts & links from 6pm last night to 7:00am this morning. YOU have to be exhausted too.

Satellite date was in 2001. Scheduled May 15, 2001. Then maybe June, July finally got the test in August which no one saw, unlike the one on May 15 of 2004 where a handful of posters on the IHub board post what they are seeing, with one guy posting digital photos of TV program on Yahoo.chat where many others saw.

Actual Launch on a satellite network September 5, 2001. Again no reports of anyone actually seeing it, but they do post links to the satellite company programing so you can at least see it in the program.

Then they are supposed to launch through the carrier MeTV March 2002, then April... finally happens in May.

So TNN, Triangle Television Network has this signed contract with MeTV.com. One of Metv's partners is Microsoft providing some kind of media technology. Then they continue trying to get more carriers. They enter into negotiations with Time Warner Cable. They move into the old Time Warner Cable building in Palm Springs.

You've seen the postings about "technical difficulties". One reason could be the Lawsuit that was pending against Microsoft for a certain media technology by Time Warner Cable. Just connecting dots on that one. From the poster "emit" on Ihub who had all those funky articles about technology. Very techy kind of guy. Maybe that was part of the "technical difficulty".

Then you hit the silent period where Triangle doesn't update website or put out any Prs. Nothing. The posters are all bashing FO but can't come up with why it's happening... we're talking something like 7-9 months of silence and no one can dig-up the dirt. Just get angry. Can't blame them.

So, many other carriage "dealings" that were discussed publicly, and before signed contracts were obtained and before this silent period just fizzled into thin air.

Then July or August 2003 hits and we hear from the Triangle Television Network again.
TNN was listed on the old Metv website. Has anyone been able to get into the new Metv website... I mean to actually join? www.metv.com maybe they have a newer, new website.

Out of 12,000+ posts I find nothing about when the original September 5, 2001 satelite launch ended. Or when the carriage distribution with Metv.com ended. They had another contract with a small distributer at the same time as Metv... it never took off. The other dealing fizzled or fell through.

Does someone here know what happened during the "silent" days of Triangle Television Network? Approximately Summer 2002 to Spring/Summer 2003.

The posters are busy posting during that time on Ihub link... but no reason provided. Just angry comments, jokes, speculation. Not much.

This is why I say in my previous post that what they are SAYING & WRITING they are doing is actually happening this time around. At least the BIG stuff. It seems to be a sharper company in 2004 and is keeping it's mouth pretty darn shut regarding anything pending... unlike what they did in 2000, 2001 & 1st half of 2002.
They SEEM to be proving themselves these past few months. Action... not just talk.

Next thing they must prove to the shareholders from long ago & today is this:
Ad campaign to begin on June 21st or 22nd.

REPEAT: Does anyone know what happened during "Silent Triangle Network" period? Summer 2002 - Spring/Summer 2003 This might explain why or how they stopped airing on Metv & satelite channel. IF they ever really even aired on Metv.com, all I can really find is where Metv shows TNN in their line-up.

I've got to go!! Must get to my real job or I will have some unhappy people!!

Wish I could be more help. Maybe someone on Allstocks will help out with "real confirmable" info, not just those darn inuendos.

Oh yea.... HAPPY DAD's DAY TO ALL THE PAPA'S out there! Celebrate the day! I'll have to later.

You have actually answered your own question with your own post. Who gains from all of this in the end? Does this round 3 sound almost the same as round 1 and 2? I too also did own this stock but came up with my own answers, and I did not like what I saw. I don't bash stocks but have learned to tear my own DD apart. That is how the conclusion showed up.

anyone notice how freely Frank answers the phone. I would think that at this point in the game, the CEO would be inundated with phone calls from l;awyers, distributors, advertisers, and employees with discussions. instead what i am seeing is that you can call there anytime of the day and speak with frank with out interruptions. and in fact from every message that i have seen of people that call and spoke to the man, he goes on and on and most have a hard time getting off of the phone with the man. This does not sound like a CEO of a company that is about to launch a Television station. this sounds like a man that is waiting to hit the sell button when the stock gets to his magic number.

You tell me what company can you call up and talk to the CEO with out an appointment at any time of the day.

think about it people. I am trying to find one piece of news that would make me feel comfortable to buy back into this company. I can not. This looks like bottom of the ninth no one is on base 2 out and Frank is standing at the plate with a golf putter.

good luck all I hope for all you that have big dollars investored that i am wrong.

show me something that change my mind.

Penny, I completely understand what you're saying. However, this isn't the CEO of IBM or Proctor&Gamble. This is the CEO of a start up network that hasn't public launched yet. I still think it's odd, but not totally unreasonable. I would like to hear other opinions too. Anyone?

Posted by Penny-Trader on :

Small time or not he is launching a national TV station. there are over 10000 carriers out there. let just say for argument sakes that .5% of them are interested in carrying the signal. that is over 500 potential carriers. now with 500 of them there would be program-directors and lawyers involved with all of them. if 5% of them had any questions that day that is still 25 phone calls. average phone call being 10-15 minutes that is 6.25 hours out of your day. take a lunch break and washroom breaks that takes you up to 7 -7.5 hours. you mean to tell me that you would be able to phone and get a hold of the man.

the other thing you need to take into consideration. many times when you call there you get Frank himself. not a secretary or receptionist. IF this company is as busy as they proclaim, and was described by Dianna. how the hell does Frank have this kind of time.

If Frank is not as busy as i just described above, then i would not count on a launch. as the work is not getting done for such a thing to happen.

penny, let me reiterate... i know what you're saying... i still think it's odd (that he is available and answers the phone occasionally)....

I'm not defending it, i'm just offering another view. They have been working on contracts day in and day out for months... at this point, there may not be as much for him to hash out as you think... I could be wrong about that, since I've never launched a national network. I wouldn't think he'd be involved in the fine details of the contracts, but that he'd have lawyers for that. They certainly have been traveling to generate interest and obtain contracts.

I just don't think it's as dire as you're making it sound, but it certainly agree with you that it warrants being addressed.

i hear you. i am not arguing the facts here, im just pointing out what i see as odd. i pulled all my money out of this stock and playing it safe in other stocks.

I am playing stocks to make money, and i have not made money on Q in the last month. it has been way to sideways for me.
I feel safer with other stocks at this time.

good luck with this. if it looks like a launch is going to happen and stay broadcasting i may come back and play it again.

Penny, I'm hoping that we see you back on board. Of course, that means it's doing well and we'll all be profiting! I haven't made any money from Q either, I've been too attached emotionally to try swing trading this one (big mistake, I know). In the long run, I'll be happy with my decisions, but right now I'm kicking myself for not having the guts and emotional detachment to make a few bucks. But I learned for the next time, and that's what counts.

Funny you mention that. I called 2 times in the same day, got Frank. A friend also called 1 time that same day also got Frank. I guess the secretary had the day off. Coincidence? I think not. I have to agree with Pennytrader. Way to many Coincidences for my liking. I can find absolutely no valid reason to buy back in but can find a ton of reasons to stay out.

You can call many legit companies and talk to the CEO without an appt. This in and of itself is not something to fear. To me, it just says they havent spent $10000 on a decent phone system and its first come first serve (to answer the phone). I've been in tons and tons of meetings with my CEO in his office which were interrupted by investors. With a lot of smaller companies that dont have dedicated IR departments or personnel, the CEO will fill that role. Who will influence your decision to invest more, a secretary or the CEO of the company??

As I said on the infinity & beyond thread, I think what you will see in the following posts that this group of people and their company DID do much of what they said. One or two deals fell through that they thought they had. Many never came to be a reality.... but some did.

I will try to do this in a chronological fashion. If I mess-up most posts will have the dates as will the articles.

After reading all those posts & links. This is definately about black & white, Ying & Yang. Opposites attract. Everyone can put there own spin on it.

I believe in what they did. I do not think they did it the "right way". They said tooo much in articles & PRs. Gave toooo much information away BEFORE deals were signed. They got excited & shared that excitement.

FIRESTONE GETTING SLAMMED FOR G&L support.

AFA ActivismAction Alert - 12/13/01Tire maker offers full-blown support to homosexual activistsFirestone is "extremely pleased" to include homosexuals, bi-sexuals, lesbians and transgenders in a targeted marketing effort.E-mail this page to a friend December 13, 2001 Pulling out all the stops, tire and rubber company Bridgestone/Firestone (BFS), has entered into an “extensive commitment” to make sure their stores see the increased traffic of homosexual lovers, cross-dressers, and gender-confused customers. In a news release by BFS last week, company spokesman Michael Fluck said Firestone is “extremely pleased” to include homosexuals, bi-sexuals, lesbians and transgenders in a targeted marketing effort. Fluck said BFS will direct company profits to sponsor exclusive agreements with Triangle Television Network and major homosexual magazines, such as Out, Genre, Curve and The Advocate. In addition, BFS will sponsor homosexual web sites PlanetOut.com andGay.com.Dr. Don Wildmon, President of American Family Association (AFA) said, “Every American family who buys Firestone tires may should be alarmed by this dissuasive direction of the company. With each purchase, their hard-earned money is going to help fund gay pride parades, homosexual television shows, and full-page ads in homosexual magazines.”Wildmon thinks Firestone’s move will further harm the company’s already damaged image. “Bridgestone/Firestone is selectively recruiting customers based solely on bedroom behavior - men who have sex with men, women who have sex with women, and those who aren’t sure what sex they are.” He said this decision won’t be well received by many current Firestone customers, the traditional American family.Firestone’s employees are not happy about the company’s new endorsement either. Wildmon said he was contacted by employees hoping a vocal outcry by consumers will send a strong message of disappointment to Bridgestone/Firestone President John Lampe. QBID IN THE DENVER MEDIA.

I post the whole article below the following two paragraphs. But these two paragraphs tell us something that I kept seeing over & over throughout that entire 2000-2002 period. Lack of satellite space & shortage of channels. You'll see the following two paragraphs again in the entire article posted afterwards.

"Without an overwhelming batch of phone calls from potential subscribers, finding space will be Gay TV's toughest sell. EchoStar's DishNetwork is already running out of channels, in part because of federal requirements to carry local broadcast channels in all major cities. Part of the motivation for EchoStar's controversial proposal to merge with its lone competitor, DirecTV, is to consolidate precious satellite space and solve the channel problem. EchoStar spokeswoman Judyann Atencio said the company has heard from Gay TV for about a year now, but no agreement is imminent. "A lot of channels come in to our programming department to make a pitch," she said. "Right now there's not a whole lot of room."

DENVER POSTIs the world ready for Gay TV?By Michael Booth Denver Post ColumnistWednesday, December 19, 2001 - The people who paid for full-page ads in daily papers across the nation last week certainly think so. Nine years after a brutal fight over gay rights dominated Colorado's political and cultural scene, a purple-tinted ad in Denver's papers told readers they could "invite Gay TV into your home!" The Triangle Television Network in California transmits 24 hours a day of gay-oriented, gay-friendly programming on a premium channel charging $9.95 a month. Some people with the older, 30-inch or larger dishes can already pull in the channel. The problem for Gay TV is that cable and satellite providers are already swamped with requests for space on their limited channel capacity. So the ads are aimed at prompting readers to call their provider and demand that Gay TV be included as a choice like other premium channels, such as HBO. In Denver, the ads were also aimed at the people who can make that decision. AT&T Broadband, the largest cable provider in the nation, and EchoStar, one of two satellite dish networks, are based in the Denver area. Triangle Television founder Frank Olsen said he bought ads in 16 cities "to get the cable companies aware of us." Supporters say their pitch is simple: There is already BET, Black Entertainment Television. There is Oxygen, a network oriented toward women. There are numerous Hispanic-interest channels. There's a channel for everything from master gardeners to conservative Christians. Why not a channel for gay interests - not pornography, not stereotypes, but plenty of news, movies and sporting events. "I sold black radio in the 1960s," said Olsen, who says he currently has 19,000 subscribers for Triangle Television and a cash infusion from investors. "There's still a few prejudices, but I think the time has come. Television has become more individual." Without an overwhelming batch of phone calls from potential subscribers, finding space will be Gay TV's toughest sell. "Right now there's not a whole lot of room." Finding advertisers, though, is not as hard as it used to be. Major ad buyers from Coors to American Express to American Airlines have set up marketing campaigns aimed at gay consumers, many of whom register high on surveys of disposable income. Programmers have made a few attempts at gay-oriented channels before, said David Smith, spokesman for the Human Rights Campaign Fund, a gay rights advocacy group in Washington, D.C. "Absolutely, it's time," Smith said. "It's a community service. And it's long overdue." It remains a touchy subject, however. Olsen asserts that digital technology means no viewer will come across the channel while surfing if they aren't a subscriber. It may seem an odd ambition, for an influential interest group to welcome becoming "just another channel" among hundreds. But in TV-oriented America, gaining a channel niche may paradoxically be exactly the right way to go mainstream. Part of arriving in a free market culture is to be targeted for your money, not just your politics. Michael Booth's consumer column appears here Wednesdays. The last paragraph talks about licensed programming. I've got another post later that tells us WHERE some of the programming comes from.

NewsTriangle Multi-Media, Inc., President Frank Olsenenlists gay community for support Palm Springs CA, Jan 10, 2002 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) -- Triangle Multi-Media Limited, Inc. (NQB Pink Sheet - QBID) President Frank Olsen stated that after five years of communicating to major corporations and broadcast companies the important need for gay television, Triangle Multi-Media, owners of Triangle Television Network (TTN), a gay and lesbian television network now broadcasting, was pleased to see the interest of Showtime, HBO and MTV in gay networks as covered in the recent "Robbins Report" written by Max J. Robbins.Olsen stated, "The Triangle Television Network has been aggressively seeking placement with cable and satellite companies. One of TTN`s challenges has been to convince companies such as AOL-Time Warner and other program providers the value of the market. With the recent article by Max Robbins, it seems that these companies have finally stood up and responded to the gay and lesbian market. Now all TTN has to do is convince cable providers to begin broadcasting our signal."Olsen emphasized the fact that "TTN`s signal is digitally broadcast and will enter no home unless it is invited. TTN provides quality programming. We consider it gay and lesbian family programming.""TTN currently stands with over 30,000 potential subscribers who agree to pay over $15 per month to receive the programming," Olsen added, "but, as yet, no major players have come forward to carry our signal. I know some major networks are planning to launch gay channels within the next year, but TTN is ready today. I hope members of the gay and lesbian community will call their cable companies and ask them to carry the TTN signal now."Olsen further stated, "I believe TTN has the largest library of gay programming in the world. TTN has licensed thousands of hours of programming and is in the process of developing thousands of hours of new programming, such as Gay American Bandstand, Gay Court, Gay Dating Game and our lead show Good Morning Gay America, to name just a few."

"Other interesting phrases.... in:http://www.tvinsite.com/multichannelnews/index.asp?layout=story&doc_id=64331&display=breakin...."Skeptics predicted an uphill battle, citing a lack of existing gay programming and the difficulties in launching any new network, especially a new 'mini-pay' network.""But a number of cable-industry insiders, including several former MSO officials, said Viacom’s hurdles include finding a viable financial model for the network, securing enough compelling gay-oriented programming and convincing distributors to carry it."What's this, not a "slam-dunk" for giant Viacom?"

MTV, Showtime Plan Gay ChannelJanuary 10, 2002Staff At gfn.com In an announcement released yesterday, MTV Networks and Showtime say they will develop "the first cable channel" specifically aimed at gay and lesbian viewers. The two cable divisions of Viacom (NYSE: VIA) will offer the still unnamed channel to cable and satellite system operators as a lower-cost channel option. In addition to advertising revenue, the estimated $5 to $6 dollars a month consumers would pay for the new channel would guarantee revenue to cover programming costs, say the cable networks. Speaking to The New York Times, Betsy Frank, executive vice president for research for MTV Networks, said the gay channel had the potential to make the same "groundbreaking impact" that the Fox network, the WB network and the Black Entertainment Network had. "We see this as the next step in what a television network is supposed to be," she said. Joan Garry, executive director for the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, or Glaad, said a gay network was an idea just waiting to happen. "The real promise of cable television from its inception was about reaching the under-served, people in rural communities who couldn’t get reception." The gay and lesbian community, says Garry, fits that profile. "The gay community has been historically under-served – this is long overdue." Proposed programming for the new gay network is rumored to include original series, acquired films, imported shows, news and information programs, talk shows, comedy shows and travel shows. Garry, who spent seven years at MTV, followed by another 7 years at Showtime before joining Glaad, thinks the channel will have a real shot. "These networks have brought us "The Real World" and "Queer As Folk," so they know a thing or two about taking risks with ground-breaking and inclusive programming . . . it’s really a perfect match. The proposed channel could begin within a year, according to Gene Falk, senior vice president for the MTV digital media group. The Biggest . . .But Not the FirstWhile Showtime and MTV say they will be the first cable channel specifically aimed at gay and lesbian viewers, their PR would appear to have overlooked a few folks who beat them to the punch. All-gay programming players, like C1TV, Canada’s Pride Vision and the Triangle Television Network, have been broadcasting on cable in one form or another for more than a year. (see "Commercial Closet: First 24-Hour Gay TV Network Debuts in Canada.") Only Pride Vision and Triangle have reached the goal of transmitting 24-hours a day. Still, few people have sampled their gay fare, either because their channel appears on so few cable and satellite providers or due to a small subscription base (Triangle has only 19,000 subscribers all within the U.S.). Even with the money it takes to put together an all-gay channel, the overriding problem for all hopeful gay networks is that cable and satellite providers are already swamped with requests for space on their limited channel capacity. Last month, in an effort to create a place for themselves, Triangle purchased full page ads in national newspapers to "invite Gay TV into your home." In Denver, the ads were also aimed at the people who can make the decision about which channels to carry. AT&T Broadband, the largest cable provider in the nation, and EchoStar, one of two satellite dish networks, are based in the Denver area. Triangle Television founder Frank Olsen said he bought ads in 16 cities "to get the cable companies aware of us." While C1TV, Pride Vision and Triangle struggle to get a foothold in the cable lineup, Showtime and MTV will undoubtedly not encounter the same difficulties with their new venture. As hearty limbs of the Viacom tree, both channels have extraordinary leverage for distribution – and they have the ability to create packages as an incentive to carry their gay channel. For the systems that carry it, Triangle currently charges $9.95 a month for their channel, a fee that may soon seem steep, when undercut by the $5 to $6 a month Showtime and MTV say they plan to charge for their gay-specific channel. Can more than one all-gay channel thrive on cable, offering quality content, attracting advertisers and find cable and satellite outlets to carry them? Probably not. Perhaps the next year will see Viacom looking to the smaller players to capture some of their better fare for their Showtime/MTV venture, maybe even buying up one of the smaller companies, thus eliminating the competition, while scooping up attractive programming at bargain prices. An Advertising Bonanaza for Gay-Friendly Companies?Mark Greenberg, the executive vice president for business development at Showtime told The New York Times, "Like MTV created a new audience that advertisers went out of their way to reach, we think we can do the same thing here. Advertisers began making commercials specifically for MTV. That might happen here, too." Executives from both organizations said that while certain specific commercials might run on the channel, a more likely model would be to have program sponsorships, with the company and its products mentioned only at the beginning and end of programs. The question may be, will mainstream advertisers be lining up to sponsor shows on a major network that is gay 24/7? While many well-known companies already spend money on gay-specific advertising, there will undoubtedly be a rethinking of how to spend on this market, says Mike Wilke, executive director of the Commercial Closet. "Right now they’re spending pocket change because print and online ads are so cheap. TV advertising is obviously much more expensive. To really support a major network will be an education for those interested in the market, as well as an evolution of their spending budget." If the advertisers come, the ultimate question may be: will gay and gay-friendly viewers? Glaad’s Joan Garry offers, "It will be all about the content, at the end of the day. If the content is smart, the channel will have a real shot."

CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS ANNOUNCED BY TRIANGLE
AAARRRGGGGHHH!! ZIP IT!! SILENCE!! The Business Wire release below shows how generous Triangle was with there information:

Now this is an example of what NOT to do: Let's say you are a buyer who is working with a Realtor and you find THE PERFECT DREAM home to place an offer on. Do you think it would be a grand idea for the Realtor to... let's see, place an ad in the Scottsdale Progress, The Arizona Republic, how about USA Today stating that you are placing a contract on the home located at 6220 E. Dream, Dryheat, Arizona, 85253??
Gosh, why not just pick-up all the Realtor cards that have been left on the kitchen counter by OTHER Realtors who have shown your Dream home to THEIR buyers AND call all those Realtors & inform them that you are in the process of placing a contract on YOUR DREAM home located at 6220 E Dream Dryheat, Arizona, 85253??

AAAARRRRRGGGGHHH!!! SILENCE & A LITTLE MYSTERY PLEASE!!

BIG MISTAKE...

TELEVISION NETWORK FOR NEW DISTRIBUTION OF THE COMPANY'S NATIONAL PROGRAMMINGPalm Springs, CA - (BUSINESS WIRE) -- January 17, 2002 -- Triangle Multi-Media Limited, Inc. (NQB Pink Sheet - Symbol: QBID). The Triangle Television Network (TTN) has entered into negotiations with AT&T Broadband to carry the Triangle Television Network. TTN, a premium channel, has a vast library of gay and lesbian programming. TTN http://www.qbid.net/ will also be making presentations about its programming to Time Warner Cable, Cox Communications, Adelphia Communications, Comcast and Charter Communications. TTN President Frank Olsen explained that the Company "seeks to make their gay and lesbian programming available through the largest cable carriers and satellite companies immediately. Our goal is to fast track TTN's gay and lesbian programming which has been well received by the market place and is experiencing strong demand for wider accessibility since its September 7th preview."Triangle Television Network's program line up includes gay and lesbian movies, original programming, sporting events, regional programming, series, news and information related to the gay community. TTN produces original programming such as Good Morning Gay America, Gay Court, Gay Bandstand, and Female Husbands which have all experienced strong demand for greater coverage via existing television and media providers.Triangle Television Network has been aggressively seeking placement with cable/satellite companies and media providers. One of TTN's challenges is to respond to the strong product demand to place its network with companies such as AT&T and AOL-Time Warner. Independent consumer surveys demonstrate that the affluent and valuable market for gay and lesbian programming is widely under served. Present negotiations by TTN seeks to convince providers to begin broadcasting the Company's network to this valuable market.Recently Fortune 500 media companies,Viacom, Showtime and MTV announced they have recognized the value of the gay and lesbian market. TTN is very pleased with these recent announcements. The final two weeks in January TTN executives will be previewing the network to the aforementioned cable companies.

THESE TYPES OF EXCITED BLUNDERS MAY BE PART OF THE REASON TRIANGLE WENT SILENT FOR NINE MONTHS, and is now a bit more mysterious with its' PR statements, etc. JUST QUIET ON THE PHONE FRANK!!

Several TV-industry veterans, including an alumnus of Saban Entertainment, plan to launch an ad-supported cable network for gays that would compete with the service Viacom Inc. has planned.
ALT1-TV is slated to debut in the first quarter of next year, and the digital entertainment network will target gay and lesbian viewers, as well as attempting to lure a crossover audience, officials said.
It is being created by MDC Entertainment, co-founders of which include Michael Arlington, a former member of the program-development team at Saban.
The channel’s principals also include veteran producer David Mckillop, who has done projects for Discovery Channel and The History Channel, and Mitchell Galin, who was executive producer for Sci Fi Channel’s Dune: The Miniseries.
Meanwhile, there are mini-pay services targeting gay audiences in the works.
Last week, Showtime Networks Inc. and MTV Networks confirmed that they are developing such a channel, and Palm Springs, Calif.-based Triangle Television Network aims to launch one late next month, priced at $9.95 per month.
For its part, ALT1-TV is closing its first round of financing -- an undisclosed sum that the network will use to make pilots, according to consultant Victor Siegel, who is working with the channel.
The service’s pitch to advertisers is that it will be a cost-effective way to reach gays on television, Siegel said.
While the programming will be aimed at a gay audience, it also seeks to attract a crossover audience. Therefore, the content won’t be so sexually provocative that it will offend a broader viewership, Siegel said.
'It’s a tough challenge,' he added.
For example, he said, Showtime’s edgy Queer as Folk would be too racy for ALT1-TV.
In looking to launch as an ad-supported vehicle, ALT1-TV is also exploring a different business model than the sector’s other players.
'We’re certainly targeting the same audience, but our business plans are quite different,' Siegel said.
Both Triangle and the Viacom gay network will take sponsorships, although their prime revenue stream will be monthly subscriptions.
Triangle executives said they are close to nailing down a deal with AT&T Broadband. And later this month, the company is meeting with Time Warner Cable, Cox Communications Inc., Adelphia Communications Corp., Comcast Corp. and Charter Communications Inc., according to Triangle executive vice president Dick Weiner.
Triangle’s program roster will include movies that have run at gay film festivals, series and original shows such as Good Morning Gay America.

"TRIANGLE TELEVISION MOVING UPEver since it's inception Triangle Multi-Media and the Triangle Television Network has been moving up and up. Now their third move is literally reaching for the sky, or rather the satellites buzzing around up there. TTN is moving into the former Time Warner facility in Palm Springs which was built in 1995. The building is complete with fiber optic cable, state-of-the-art equipment and a dozen dishes uploading programming to the various domestic satellites. It's a fabulous opportunity to go on the air with an exciting mix of Programming especially produced for the gay and lesbian community. As This is being written, the new building is being renovated and Master Control re-wired for the extra new digital equipment. The control room for Triangle's flagship, Good Morning Gay America is being equipped with on-line facilities for webcams so that correspondents and viewers calling in to chat can be seen and heard on the early morning show. TTN staff are already moving into the new building and admiring the view of Mount San Jacinto and the Santa Rosa Mountains from their office windows. TTN has again made the right move and everyone is looking forward to producing GLBT shows that subscribers will want to see...Check here for some pix of Triangle Television's new facility. It's here. It's gay television. It's TTN."

NOW it gets interesting. This article is from May 29, 2003. BUT, the lawsuit was filed in January 2002 according to this article, about the same time Triangle netogiations and a finally a contract with Metv came about which had MS media technology as a big partner. Also the same period that Triangle was negotiating with Time Warner.

These include a commitment by Microsoft to make available technical information contained in test or "beta" versions of its Windows operating system to AOL at the same time that Microsoft makes them available to other independent software vendors. Microsoft will also ensure that AOL can participate in other programmatic offerings relating to the development of Microsoft's next-generation "Longhorn" version of Windows on the same terms and at the same time as other independent software vendors.Support and Coordination: Microsoft will broaden AOL's Product Support and Services contract to provide dedicated support by Microsoft engineers with full access to Windows source code, to help AOL with compatibility and other engineering efforts. Microsoft will make it possible for an AOL development team to work at Microsoft's Redmond, Wash. facilities. The companies will also establish an Executive Council to meet periodically to resolve support and other issues and to promote the long-term development of a constructive relationship between them.New Distribution Marketing Channel for AOL: Microsoft will provide AOL software discs worldwide to "system builders" - smaller PC manufacturers that obtain their Windows discs from authorized Microsoft distributors.Instant Messenger Interoperability: The two companies have agreed to explore ways to establish interoperability between AOL and MSN Instant Messenger networks in a manner that will protect consumer privacy, security and network performance.AOL Time Warner Executive Vice President Olaf Olafsson said: "With Microsoft and our other partners, we are committed to developing a vibrant, competitive and secure digital media environment. Not only will consumers benefit from having more and easier-to-use digital content available to them, but all of AOL Time Warner's content businesses -- and their industries as a whole -- will be able to take full advantage of the digital platform with a new level of security.""This agreement underscores both companies' deep commitment to developing solutions that expand consumer choice and access to high quality content, and at the same time create new opportunities for content owners and promote innovation," said Will Poole, Microsoft Senior Vice President. "Establishing a vibrant digital content marketplace is a tremendous challenge but not an insurmountable one - and I'm confident that both companies, working together with the rest of industry and consumers, can create a framework for addressing these critical issues."Jonathan Miller, America Online, Inc.'s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, said: "These agreements are good news for the AOL service, its members and the Internet as a whole. It provides America Online with certainty that, as Microsoft develops new operating systems and platforms, the AOL service will work optimally with them to the benefit of our members worldwide.""With this agreement we are resolving our disagreements about the past and committing ourselves to a new and constructive relationship for the future," said the two companies' General Counsels, Paul Cappuccio of AOL Time Warner and Brad Smith of Microsoft. "We are committed to a sustained and open dialogue that will forge creative solutions that meet the needs of our companies, our industries, and consumers."

The following are a series of posts from July 2003 regarding this specific boards calling Time Warner. What did investors do before internet trading became available?
These phone calls must drive Major corporation batty.

03 Jul 2003, 12:10 AM EDT FWIW - time warner ir eventually transfered me to Mark Harrap 203-328-0613 - he says there IS a contract - says there is no plan for a pr and that they are still exploring any continued relationship with tnn.

...you need to do your own dd and not worry about what others post. If you don't like my posts, plain and simple, Charlie...put them on ignore........I spoke with TWC. I verified the carriage agreement. I asked my questions. Many got answered, some Keith couldn't answer. That's my dd Charlie....stop your whining about me. You seem to be more worried about me than your investment and that makes me wonder what your agenda is here?

I can understand every ones total frustration with FRANK, BUT after reading the following it does bring us some HOPE of a Time Warner-TTN connection. therefore YES more Patience is needed here.Sterling V.C." <stervc@l...>wrote:> Willy and All...>> Sometime last week Mark Holmes from AOL/Time Warner IR Department> returned my call. He confirmed that the deal that is being worked> between QBID/TTN and TWC does not have to come through theirsection> as he had previously mentioned. He stated that the press release> would probably get released from the Corporate Communicationssection> of Time Warner Cable (TWC). He also had previously mentioned that> TWC is planning on trading as its own entity and has been preparing> to do so for some time now.>> He said that he does not know anything that is going on with thedeal> and he recommended that I keep talking with QBID/TTN or AOL/Time> Warner/TWC to get further information. Again as I had previously> posted, my AOL/Time Warner/TWC point of contact is Keith Cocozza at> 203-328-0600 or his direct line at 203-328-2039.

AND now that the silent period is over for Triangle TTN and maybe is learning some restraint with PRs, etc... see what the bottom of this post says...

I just talked to Nick at TW Cable....1st of all, this post is for those of you which actually have a working brain...emotions, wants and/or desires do not count.....
#1. We all should STOP calling NICK. He is willing to take our calls BUT he is the WRONG person to talk to. #2. there is a contract between TWC and Triangle which allows there local stations to pick-up TTN #3. There will be a PR released between TWC & TTN stating all this BUT it is being written by TTN and ONLY when they get it written and TWC approves it, it will be released. What does this mean....the PR we are all waiting for is being held up by Triangle!!! If you want to call someone, call Triangle (1-888-594-7723) and get him to do his job!

OH YES, and this poster. They "reposted" the website update about TWC contract, but see what the posters comments are below the update. Hmmmm again.... has Frank learned a hard lesson?

May not make the shareholders happy with his silence or wee bit of mystery... but maybe the QBID can actually LAUNCH with something bigger & better this time around!!

This will give us hope...TTN Proudly Announces A 10 Year National Contract WithTime Warner Cable. Target Cities and Launch Dates are currently being reviewed and will be announced soon.Watch For Further Announcements.
BUT, now it is time for Frankie to get those announcements out!!!With all the time leading up to this, one would THINK that TTN was making plans WHICH should have included preparing PRs, or am I expecting to much?

THIS gives you an idea where some programming is coming from:

PALM SPRINGS, Calif., Oct 26, 1999 (ENTERTAINMENT WIRE) -- EnterTech Media Group and Triangle Multi-Media Limited Inc. (GAAY now known as QBID) today signed an agreement for Triangle Multi-Media Limited Inc. to purchase all media buys for radio and television on all EnterTech Media Group's films distributed throughout America. Bertrand Tavernier's award winning film, "IT ALL STARTS TODAY" will be the first film to be released November/December 1999 with up to eight further features scheduled throughout 2000. The Phase I venture will involve approximately $10,000,000 in advertising. EnterTech Media Group is the new company of producer John Daly, who successfully financed and oversaw the marketing of mega-hits "Terminator," "Platoon" and "The Last Emperor" plus many more cult hit films.

One last article. What I think is important in this article is where the reporter uses the word "stymied" with regard to Triangle Teleision. This is a Canadian reporter reporting on THEIR Pridevision Network possibly entering the U.S. market. Why not say "abandoned" , "bankrupt", or "defunct"... BECAUSE THAT MUST NOT HAVE BEEN TRUE. HENCE, the word "stymied". Meaning "blocked or thwarted" from the dictionary.

Canadian article mentioning TTN....http://www.sovo.com/2003/7-18/news/national/gaychannel.cfm
NATIONAL NEWS
Race for first U.S. gay channel continues Canadian offering now available stateside By MIKE FLEMING Plans by three companies to launch the first U.S. gay television network continue in fits and starts, with projects from an entertainment heavyweight and an independent network still on hold as a gay channel in Canada attempts limited distribution here. PrideVision, a gay cable channel based in Canada, announced July 12 that it is now available through Largo Communications, a satellite distributor in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., that provides access to Canadian satellite company Bell ExpressVu.“We are extremely excited that our Canadian channel is available to audiences in the U.S.A.,” said Bruce Glawson, vice president of Canadian programming for PrideVision. The cost to receive the channel is $5 per month on top of the $16 monthly Canadian satellite fee and the cost of installing and maintaining regular U.S.-based dish service.Programs on PrideVision include repackaged series from other networks as well as original programming and late-night erotica.Officials with PrideVision originally said a U.S. version of its network would be available last fall. In November, they cited stalls in contract deals when the network didn’t materialize. The original plan to convert the concept into a U.S. channel is still on hold, Glawson said.“Although PrideVisionTV may be available on a select few cable systems in the U.S. at an unknown time in the future, this Canada-produced channel is made available now to anyone who wants it via the Canadian satellite service,” he said. After recent reports that media giant Viacom shelved its plans to launch a gay cable network, company officials remain mum on the project.Viacom properties Showtime and MTV announced in January 2002 that they would team up to research the viability of a gay-oriented network. In May 2002, informal advisory panels met in several U.S. cities, including a group in Atlanta.Panel members said a spring 2003 launch date was discussed, and an internal Viacom memo leaked on the Internet in November said the channel had the working name “Outlet.”Viacom officials would not confirm details. When asked for an update last week, the company provided a statement it has circulated since last year.“Due to the current economic climate, the timetable has slowed down for the development of a new network dedicated to programming to the gay and lesbian audience,” according to the statement. The Palm Springs, Calif.-based Triangle Television Network, which experienced multiple delays in its promise to launch a gay network on satellite, remains stymied. TTN, has shown no movement since April 2002. Its Web site lists programming to “watch for” but no start date.TTN executives did not respond to interview requests by press time.

MY PERSONAL THOUGHTS?

Frank & company has been trying since at least 1999 to make this happen. Some employees stayed, some left when funds ran low. It is not a multi-million dollar producing company right now. It is keeping rather quiet now compared to 2000 - 2002.

Many of you probably bring in more revenue then most pink sheet & OTCBB companies... many times over. I know that I most certainly couldn't accomplish what Frank & company has.

Things WERE accomplished... but possibly in the wrong manner. The wrong style & with too much excitement rather then calm thinking.

Many deals were in the making in the old days according to the articles and thousands of posts. Maybe those were seen as promises broken by many. But, maybe they were just the hopes & dreams of a company sharing the excitement too soon.

I wondered what happened to the 2001 satellite launch & Metv launch in 2002?

Well now, while I'm in the same line of work, I did leave company "A" and went to company "B". Oh know... some might have said. "OH MY GOD... What happened to Lynda... what went wrong... what did she do?"

In reality, I left them because I am an independant contractor and could pay company "B" about 1/4 what I paid company "A" for fees. Company "A" didn't do a single thing for me, ever. I had my own home office. I gave them mucho $$$ in sales revenue and they didn't know my name.
Company "B" most certainly knows my name... and they smile.

So "OH MY GOD WHAT HAPPENED" really is not that big a deal after all is it? I'm better off & happier. I can't worry about the folks on the sidelines still worrying about WHY I LEFT...

Anyway. Get the point? Hasn't it happened to you?

Know where did I find "dirt" to scare me off from QBID. OH I WILL WATCH THEM, THE NEWS, THE STOCK ON A DAILY BASIS. It's a pinksheet stock, you have to. AND that's what I have to do if I'm going to trade over the internet by my lonesome rather than use a stock broker.

Triangle Television Network (now Q Television & QBID) did "launch" on satellite in 2001. Maybe... there was a contract and it expired & was never renewed due to pricing, financial reasons, incompatability, no warm fuzzies, poor reception, or maybe TTN just wanted to move on to something better. Who knows.

Triangle Television Network supposedy had a contract with WNSFT, another small carrier. It never came to pass. "OH KNOW!!!"

Triangle Television Network DID have a contract with Metv in early 2002. They were listed on the Metv website and in there line-up of programming. Maybe the Metv partnering of Microsoft with their media technology created a "technical difficulty" for TTN regarding negotiations with Time Warner Cable company who smacked a lawsuit on Microsoft in January 2002 and took over a year to resolve.

Or maybe TTN decided to let that Metv contract expire as well for any number of reasons. Maybe TTN wants a better deal.

Who knows. I found no dirt. So until someone has the courage to place legitimate confirmable information which directly pertains to the success or failure of Q Television... I will not listen to inuendos or anger & fear from what did or did not happen 2-3 years ago.

YOU HAVE TO LET YOUR BRAIN & GUT GUIDE YOU... IT'S YOUR MONEY. YOU DO WHAT IS IN YOUR BEST INTEREST. I only have 160,000 shares of stock in this company.

I have much work to do this week. I'll catch-up with you all early AZ morning or late AZ night. Best wishes to all... GOODNIGHT!!!
