Q Television Network Announces Additional Details of Five-Hour Sneak Preview Broadcast Scheduled for Saturday May 15th
Friday May 14, 8:00 am ET
PALM SPRINGS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 14, 2004--Q Television Network (OTCPK: QBID), the nation's premiere 24/7 gay and lesbian television network, today announced that in addition to the previous announced test of its signal by satellite, that it has reached agreement for the test to be telecast in New Orleans on Cox Channel 10. The signal will be available in over a quarter million homes in the 4 major parishes.
In addition Q Television Network announced that it reached further agreement for carriage of this sample sneak preview on KHCV-TV, carried on the Comcast Cable system channel 15, throughout Western Washington, including Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia and Everett up to the Canadian border, with a reach of 1.6 million households.
The test will take place on Saturday, May 15, 2004, from 10:00 A.M.-3:00 P.M. PST.

I initially got in at .018 but thanks to all of you was able to catch the dip last week and average out to 700K shares @ .011, and now I am in the green and will happily sit on my hands to watch the show. Of course it would have been great to have more (wish I had a million

I think we'll hit the .017 - .02 area between now and mid next week with a good PR on Monday on the success of test signal. I don't think QBID will hold this price and I do think we'll cover the gap we had this morning within the next couple of weeks before soft launch. At least that's what I hope.
QBID has covered all gaps and unless it covers this one before soft launch, the soft launch isn't going to give us the PPS increase that many expect. If all falls right I think our new base will be around .016-.018 after soft launch on June 1.

I don't know I could see us hitting one dollar earlier than next spring. I think it will be a stretch but I could see us approaching that much sooner... particularly if we get aired through most satelite and cable companies. I think we may see that even one or two months after launch which last I heard is around the year 2222 lol. Kidding aside I am hopeful for that... I am long but I don't want to be that long...

I think now is an excellent time to start doing some DD on alternative energy companies - like fuel cell technology. I don't think gas will ever get back to the 1.20 - 1.30 range it was in (at least in my area). With consumption rising in China and India it's gonna keep going up.
check out alti and nalg... I have some interest in both.. good time to buy into them...
Now that people spread that around, I doubt the MMs would continue that. I'm sure they have many sophisticated ways to signal. The phone is always good.
So don't freak when you see 300 or whatever go by. Lots of people get free trades when signing on to new brokers and maybe they just wanna see if they can influence things. JMO

Im gay and I am for Bush, besides, its all just political bantering to their parties and at this stage of the gay movement, no one will stop it..just my opinion.
There already is the Spice Network, Playboy etc.. not to mention HereTV. Q will be a channel you pay for, it wont be included in a normal cable/satellite package. The government has a problem when questionable programming is shoved in someones face such as the Jackson chick showing some nlpple. Just my .02 on that.

I am not holding many shares like everyone else however it would certainly be nice to know how the test goes and if there are any commercials and what company those commercials are from.

Its only a matter of time before QBID hits the front page of the Wall Street Journal, Businessweek, or NY Times, and other nationwide publications probably once details have been worked out and this thing looks like its going to launch with a high degree of certainty. .10? .50? 1.00? For Monday I'm predicting it will gap up slightly on opening, and a favorable PR will boost the stock even higher. After that we need regular PRs with info on sponsors, cable companies which have agreed to carry the network, and specific info on the "soft launch." This will keep the momentum going, absent this the stock will likely go back down. I'd also like to see this stock come off the pink sheets and relisted on regular OTC or even NASDAQ, I know many investors avoid pink sheet stocks due to the lack of financial reporting and regulation. I hope soon they will get some lawyers and accountants together to work on the relisting. And plus I'm tired of calling my orders into Scottrade, they know me there by name and what I will be ordering before I even give them my account number!!! I think this would make the stock easier for investors to buy into, particularly before the hard launch. I've been watching this stock closely, this one is an emotional stock so I don't attempt to do technical analysis, I pretty much operate on my gut feeling and my gut feeling says .025 next week. I'm not a pumper or a MM like NITE, I'm just an enthusiastic QBID shareholder.Go QBID!

My thoughts for Monday are Bullish. Just gotta have a PR coming out about the Test, just makes sense. Charts are looking really good. RSI has turned up. MACD is setting up for a Upward crossover. Bullish candle on Friday.
I think we'll gap up again on Monday if PR is out before market open. I think we'll hit .018 area for sure and we might push .02 or higher but I think with the resistance there it would have to be on a good run to blow through it. If we do break .02 then it could run high again but I just don't think that'll happen although I HOPE it does.
Monday will be a good day in my opinion and I'll be looking for a good exit spot but only so I can buy more when it dips back down again. We've got a gap to fill between .0106 & .0115 so it'll go back down before it takes off to the .02 + range for good. Even if the dip is a quick and dirty one like the dip back to .005 which I'm sure shocked a lot of people including me. It did fill the gap. If you were watching that day, you learned something very valuable about QBID.

Yeah I see the same thing on a retrace back before going to far. Its gota fill the gaps. I am banking on a .012-.013 run back eventually before the soft launch. For all the ones that like me in this stock, CROSS those fingers. If not I will step up into the bigger stocks to play for quick returns on SHORTS.

For all this coolo knows that could have been the buy back, or part of it. 1.6 billion shares, WOW! What are the chances 200-400 million of those could have been related to a buy back, since they may have issued shares at the 0.02 - 0.027 price range, giving them around $20 million dollars. Now if this indeed happened, a reasonable esitmate of funds for a limited buyback would be 10% or around $2 million, give or take. That day around $10 million in Qbid was traded.
At $2 million dollars If the average share buy back was at, then they would have bought back roughly:
.005 = 400 million shares
.006 = 330 million shares
.007 = 285 million shares
.008 = 250 million shares
.009 = 212 million shares
.01 = 200 million shares

Again this is all an estimation. If they only put $1 million dollars to the buy back, then cut those numbers in half. For all I know the buck back happened a long time ago, or not at all!?!
Even getting 200 million shares out of the float would help, that has been our daily volume averages some days.

I have been looking at QBID charts.
Not once have we ever GAP'd up and never retraced back to fill.
I will be back in on the refill. It will happen. I am not saying this for anyone else to play the bounce. But I have made a good amount of money and I have noticed that QBID has started following the charts. I will be back folks. If not, I will be at the party anyhow.

I agree... I was reading the PRs and thinking that maybe they were trying to hype it as a signal test rather than a soft launch for several reasons...
1- price drops drastically - buyback goes into warp speed...
2- additional hype is generated from the PR and from the trade panic - word of mouth turns "four letter word of mouth"... but, first rule of PR= "I don't care what you say, just spell my name right"...
3- company hits 'original' target date, but appears to be moving ahead of schedule... looks good to everyone... ( and, please, nobody comment about original being years ago! -- let's assume "recent original")...
4- if something goes wrong, they still have a buffer zone to hit the 'real' soft launch (a face saving maneuver)...
but, of course, this is just my opinion and I've been wrong before...

That's juat one more reason Institutions are even looking at this penny stock which is unheard of for the most part. That & the fact that everybody knows, Broadcasting TV Networks as a rule just do not trade under a buck.

Yep, I agree with both of you. QBID is way past test stage. The only thing being tested is level of interest. They will display those numbers to prospective advertisers.

I'm definately bullish on Monday, I think we'll see a gap up regardless of whether the press release comes before or after the opening. I'm still predicting .025, possibly on Monday, but I agree with you, QBID will definately retrace and correct itself, possibly several times before a level of .025 and above can be maintained, next week is sure to be wild. I'm less bullish after Monday, assuming there are no new PRs later in the week. Right now there are too many holders who got in at .005 and below for it not to retrace. I was watching the day it went back to .005 and would have bought more shares if I had the cash onhand. I'm ready to buy more for the next time it drops and I'll be looking for a good exit point also on Monday. I'm still playing it short and long-term so I don't get caught with my pants down and so I don't have to bear the full effect should it go back below .01. Wouldn't everyone like to be holding NITE's wad of QBID shares now?

On retracement. Two stocks that I know of did not retrace all the way back. FMDAY ran from the .65 range to over 2.00. Still holding around .1.62. Sirus (SIRI) ran to 4.20 and still holding over 3.00. Did not come all the way back down. Now here is a little thought. We went real guick from .0050 to .028. Maybe this last thing was our retrace. On retracement. Two stocks that I know of did not retrace all the way back. FMDAY ran from the .65 range to over 2.00. Still holding around .1.62. Sirus (SIRI) ran to 4.20 and still holding over 3.00. Did not come all the way back down. Now here is a little thought. We went real guick from .0050 to .028. Maybe this last thing was our retrace. Could me. Just my opinion. I did this to say we have now 5 QBID threads in the top 10. Sounds like ELVIS is still in the house. Monday with the right PR will be explosive. Friday will be nothing to what monday holds. PR before the bell we open over .02. If no PR .017 and will hold around that for PR by 11EST. If no PR by then, we will fall back.
