I have been playing around with building the perfect stock forum. The way in which this one is setup IMO is far better then any others i have seen. The organization of it makes skimming through topics and threads a breeze. This is still a typical forum trying to adapt to the topic of stocks though. If you could have the perfect stock forum what would you change or add to this one? I thought of a few things:

-Stock prices automatically updated next to topic headings
-Reverse order of messages, new top to old bottom
-user raitings (so you know who to trust)
-create a topic and become that topics moderator along with the board moderator.

...of course the users of the forum are the most important part. Please share your opinions and ideas.

Some good ideas here.

Though I think it would be a little more friendly to allow the user to rate themself. Then once they consider themself to be at a level beyond (NOVICE) then open it up to user rating.

So when someone joins the board they are assumed to be a NOVICE trader. If they upgrade their status to EXPERIENCED. Then users could rate them.

The stock info would be GREAT!
