LONGWOOD, Fla., Feb 04, 2004 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) -- The World Golf League, Inc. (WGFL) announced today that it would begin airing its infomercial and 1-minute commercial spots beginning February 23, 2004. The media test calls for three airings on the Golf Channel of the 30-minute infomercial on February 23, 2004 at 4PM, February 24, 2004 at 10AM and February 28, 2004 at 6AM. In addition, The WGL Inc. will air 60 1-minute spots on Direct TV's sports package. This includes ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN Classic and four other sport networks.
"We are very excited about launching our media test to measure response and best plan our marketing strategies for the important months of March and April" said Mike Pagnano, CEO The WGL, Inc. Caldwell Marketing and Media of Orlando, Fla. will plan the balance of the campaign which is expected to generate over 35,000 new members and over $5 million in revenue.
The WGL operates in the $25 billion a year world golf market, and markets a professional golf concept in the USA and 27 international venues, which allow average golfers to play for substantial prize money in local and regional tournaments culminating with a PGA-style national event and world championship.

it just had a big run-up of about 100% in the past week and started to consoladate yesterday. It is possible that this news was expected and the reason for the run up over the past week. i'd be careful with this one. i just looked at the charts though-so maybe theres another reason for the big run up.

I believe the infomercial on the golf channel was expected but I don't think the Directv deal was expected. I see this moving higher also. Kaged

This is my big investment for the spring months! I think this is going to be huge as the league is starting their huge marketing plan to get new members. The idea is great and everything looks great.
Earlier in the week they had already posted the infomercial TV schedule on their website. They however did not mention anything about the 1 minute ads on ESPN and etc.
I think it was moving the end of last week and this week though because lots of people had this stock on their watch lists beginning for February. I orginally was going to wait until February to buy, but instead I got in a few weeks ago to ensure a very low entry. Many people know how big this stock is going to be this spring and are getting in now.

Buy on the rumor and sell on the news
This stock has been moving considerably the past few days, and we all know these commercials were coming via other PRs, we just never had the news that announced exactly when, what time, etc.
I think most of the past week's move has been directly because of this pending news, and while it is officially released today, I think it will move a bit, but only because of the people who don't follow this closely just now hearing about it.
Looks like a good day to sell if you ask me, then wait a week so it drops back down to .02 again and buy some more. This stock has been very predictable and can make you a lot of money every week or two if you play it right

truth is...its been a bloody red week. a little red here, some red over there... MM posting grate sales this week....or getting you to freak out and add to the liquidation dirt cheep stock prices. So TRBD aint an exeption, so far its down -32.00% OUCH!!!! My streamer is flodded with red. I dare say that at lease 80% of all the stocks I falow are in red. Heres small sample of what I'm saying: CIEN- -18.79% GMED -16% DITC -6.49% CORV -8.93 ARES -25% CESY -8% CTKH -9.43% PLKC -2.44%
Just to mention a few I own in diferent price range. Not only penny stocks are down. This red is all over. Reminds me of that Si-fiction movie "The Blob".
Well, just go out there and buy with moderation.

This stock has still steadily been going up over the last few weeks...now up to .039 It has been playing with the resistance at .04 for quite a while and when it busts through..it will continue on up to .05 Take a look at the website (www.worldgolfleague.com) and do some dd this is a great stock for the spring months imho

Truth is... They have a good concept. (Product) There is a real market for it. Golf has taken a new wind lately, specially with new and young faces like Tiger Woods, Padraig Harrington, Vijay Singh & young woman also like Annika Sorenstam as well. Here at Puerto Rico, golf is growing very fast and a lot of young professionals are getting involve with the game and loving it. Give it time, patients will pay.

Funny thing is that there advertising campain has not really started yet. Once they start marketing agresively there product....hey this thing is going to flyyyyyyyy. Do you know how many golfers are out there? As I have stated before...The market is there. This will be a winner no dought about it.

It is about time this baby had started moving. Been waiting for 6 months for this one to start flying. I beleived in it 6 months ago and I still beleive it is going to fly big time. My 3 best ones so far this month has been qbid,wgfl, and gzfx. I will hold on these for the long haul.

This is definitely a long hold, at least through the summer months as the golf season gets well on its way. I think this league will be huge on its own, but if a sponsor were to show up and sponsor it...it will be crazy huge! IMHO.

I could not agree more. Vision, Long term is the name of the game. Huge?....yes, I understand that is so true. There may be a gap today. Good time to buy more. I own quite a few, so I'm sitting back and wait for its momentum, (maybe 6 to 8 month) over $1.00

Just a gut feeling. The volumes are very big on the sell-offs at this point as compared to purchase averages. Big money is getting out after driving it up. At least thats my IMHO..
