LONG ISLAND CITY, N.Y., Jan 7, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- United Specialties, Inc. (the "Company") ( UNSP ), one of the leading importers, packer, and distributor of specialty and gourmet foods and the first importer of fresh truffles into the U.S., today announced that the Company has entered into an agreement with Restaurant Depot, one of the leading wholesale distributors of food and gourmet food products to restaurants.
The daRosario brand of dried mushrooms and various truffle products has been initially launched in 9 wholesale stores and the complete rollout to over 140 locations will be complete within the coming months.

Note that UNSP is NOT Urbani. One of the links I followed was the Urbani site. Urbani is a neat company but ARE PRIVATE. I spoke w/ Urbani this morning thinking it was UNSP.

I spk w/ two people at URBANI and they assured me this person is NO LONGER with them. Further they ARE PRIVATE.
I think there is BAD BLOOD between the two companies. Though he references his time w/ Urbani on the www.order.... website.
