VITX VI Technologies $1.25 & 27.7 mil shares
Specializes in removing pathogenes, including
prions which cause mad cow disease, from blood by binding with them. April '01 was $12
per share and then drifted down to .75/share with one two month pop up to $2.50. Has been building a base for a long time. Today, with the mad cow scare, it gapped up to $1.45 and then settled at $1.25. Mad cow disease can be
transmitted by blood tranfusions, so the authorities have been worried about this possibility. The stock may now be finished with its base building and may be ready to start moving up again. There are a hugh number of blood donations yearly and I would think that it may someday be manditory for the blood to not only be screened for various
diseases, but to be processed to have them removed and VITX may have a foot up on the competition, because its process does not affect the blood.

Ooops, the Red cross has been refusing to accept blood donations from people that have been to countries that have had an outbreak of mad cow disease, and now we have joined that group of countries. This might make the Red Cross to decide to use VITX's process on its donated blood. Not only would it remove mad cow disease prions, it would also remove other disease germs. In fact, even though the price dipped for a few days, it has curved up a little and the Candlestick site states that the price is trending up and that
buyers are in control. Sounds good.
