Clemex Announces Second Quarter Results for 2006 - Increases sales by 42% 12/6/05

Clemex Technologies Inc., manufacturer of Image Analysis systems and software for microscopy applications, announced today its second quarter results ending October 31 2005. For the second quarter of FY 2006, sales increased by 42% to reach $1,490,280 when compared to $1,052,014 for the same period in FY 2005. The Corporation posted a net profit of $147,458 for Q2 2006 while it had a net loss of $57,444 in 2005.
For the first six months of the Fiscal Year 2006, the Corporation posts an increase in sales of 33% over the same period last year. Gross Margin remained stable at 59% and Net Profit increased over the first six months of last year reaching $360,823 while it showed a Net Loss of $2,927 for the same period last year.
During this second quarter, the Corporation made most of it sales to high technology companies such as :
Hewlett Packard, Ball Aerospace, Oak Ridge National Laboratories, Eli Lilly and Teck Cominco.
