Looking back to 2005, most of us wish we would have bought and held some relatively low-priced stock that has tripled or more.I am no different,so in my search for possibilities, I thinned them down to four. They have done well recently, but they should continue their upward trend (my opinion). In most cases, their rise in price reflects their improving revenues:

CTCH.....1.06
HOMS.....5.10
EMKR.....7.42
ABB......9.72

HAVE A GOOD YEAR

Yes,CBRX is a good pick. It has had four continuous quarters of increasing revenues.
Although I mainly use technical analysis scans, I firmly believe that fundamental developments, either real or expected, are at the root of most prolongued uptrends.
On another site I read where they were trying to find technical scans to find future stocks that rose like NTRI this past year. But the clue lies in its increasing revenues over consecutive quarters.
One person even said that earnings have nothing to do with stock price behavior. He must be a day trader. In an extended time period, earnings, or their expectation, are a prime mover.
So in trading an uptrending stock, and wondering if the uptrend is temporary or lasting,it may be well to look at the fundamentals.

Looks scary to me....they made less money last quarter and have a lot of DEBT!

The singing pattern of the chart is very interesting. I'm gonna add it to my stocks to watch for swing trades.

What got me was the chart... throw up a five year chart and it loves to swing between three and fifteen... Sure seems like it is rounding bottom and edging back up now.
Not a long hold for me just swinging in and out on the way back up.
On the financial side they are predicting a first time ever net profit for 2005 so that might help some as well.

Actually, I think that predicting the fortunes of small pharmaceutical companies over a year's period is tricky. It's a matter of boom or bust, because they depend on the success of maybe a single product still untested. Also, most are making very little profit or losing money. So they may be better suited for short-term swing trades where technical analysis is useful. Just my opinion.

Yeah who? a valid point.
Those were just two stocks that have popped up on a few different technical scans...

KHK...

KHK...

In an uptrend with no signs of a serious pullback.
Financials look ok (revenues increasing).
Price near support ($ 1.05 according to StockTA)
Rated bullish (also by StockTA).

Interesting......I like to 100% gains but don't like the fact that it has low $$$$ traded. Might consider playing with a few hundred just to see what bites.
