Is there any particular reason for the sudden increase in volume? Is someone pumping this?

No offense, but I thikn there's only been like 1 or 2 trades since you first posted this, and the spread is .05x.07, so if you buy at .07 you're essentially already down 28%.
I wouldn't call this flying.
Edit: bid x ask is now .06x.079. SO it's getting better.
