the show is going to be a big plus for the company but if you did some serious DD this company is much more then that, they are seriously undervalued,no way this one should be trading down here much longer, the last real run took it to .092,this time the potential is much higher imo!

Just got home from 16 Blocks. It was really good. What Bruce Willis movie isn't good, right?

We have an amc theater here, they are estimating $17 million this opening weekend on 2700+ runs.

"FMLY derives its income from producer fees, production consulting and service fees and royalties as well as participation in the profits, if any, of certain of the pictures it produces."

Monday should be fun.

LOL...not really,I got tired of getting bashed on because of DIAAF and my discovery of the companies tax issues and that I felt obligated and had to urgently post the info on the boards I was involved in since I knew that some groups were about to get the same info and the PPS was going to collapse and I wanted my friends out first! I post the truth about stocks...good or bad,and even though I might like a pick if I find dirt on it I still have to share it.Their tax issues are now getting cleared up so they may be heading up again! Now heres some DD on what I think is a killer pick! FMLY

Posted by QuestSolver on :

these guys are actually making money, check out the last earnings! The projected income outweighs the cash requirements.

FMLY’s estimate of net cash requirements for overhead for the next twelve months subsequent to December 2005, is approximately $115,000 (includes the above fixed cost estimate of $73,600) a month for a twelve month total of $1,380,000. The estimate of cash in flow (net of film cost and fees) from operations for that time period from projects currently in place is estimated to be approximately $2,000,000. We are unable to estimate beyond this twelve month period because we are still in negotiation on a number of projects.

In order to sustain operations in the near term, it is anticipated that motion pictures produced by FMLY will be entirely financed through outside sources. In April 2004, we received $644,455 in funds pursuant to a subscription agreement. On October 6, 2004, the Company received $1,300,000 from Tau Entertainment (Elisa Salinas), an investor, for the production of the movie “The Tenants”. The investor is to recoup the investment within four months following the delivery of the picture to the worldwide distributor (which is estimated to be June 14th, 2006) at 4% interest plus 50% of the net profits of the underlying movie. The funds advanced under the agreement are restricted to use in the production of “The Tenants”. In March 2005, the Company received an additional $2,179,719 advance from Elisa Salinas under terms similar to the original $1,300,000 advance. The $2,179,719 advance is restricted to use and has been invested in the productions of: $1,719,719 in Borderland, $250,000 in Wickerman, and $130,000 in Room Service as of December 2005. At December 31, 2005, Freedoms Films has invested $2,148,895 in Borderland, Scorched Earth invested $500,000 in Borderland, and E F F Partners, LLC invested $271,514 in White Air. In January 2006, Freedoms Films invested an additional $125,000 in Borderland and Scorched Earth invested an additional $72,500 into Borderland.

and this pretty much is still in the start up stages imo.

another reason i believe this will only get better, this is just a few noteable movies that will be released in the near future by FMLY :
1) THE WICKER MAN starring Nicolas Cage
2)THE CONTRACT starring John Cusack and Morgan Freeman
3) 88 MINUTES starring Al Pacino
take a look at these names people, these are not has-beens. these are todays top movie stars. i like all of them and these people do only top notch Blockbuster type films. these are just a few of the movies that will be released in the future but there are many more.
how in the world is this co. only trading * .015 ??? this seems hugely undervalued to me, double digit pps estimates don't seem far fetched to me, not by a mile. i can only see this going much higher. glta.

the previous post and this one is from another board poster who provides great DD--MWM

Alcon reups with Warners
3 Feb 2006 10:35am EST - By Borys Kit
Alcon Entertainment is continuing its relationship with Warner Bros. Pictures, signing a new financing and distribution agreement with the studio. Alcon will continue to develop and fully finance its own feature films that will be distributed by Warners, but under new deal terms; the company also will jointly finance some films with the studio. The deal calls for a minimum of six pictures during the next three years to be co-financed, beginning with the Richard Donner-directed action thriller 16 Blocks and The Wicker Man, Neil LaBute's remake of the 1973 horror movie. Alcon acquired distribution rights to Blocks, which stars Bruce Willis and Mos Def, and Wicker, which stars Nicolas Cage, from Millennium Films and Emmett/Furla Films, with the participation of Equity Pictures. Hi, Quest. Thanks for your response and DDs.
I feel you were mistreated for the collapsed
pps of CLBE, AMEP, and DIAAF. In fact, all pps
of OTC/Pinky stocks are controlled by the MMs.
They will bring the pps down to collect cheap
shares; and after they get the majority of
the shares, they will take pps up to unload
their ventory. Unfortunately, most investors
buy stocks when the pps has been rising two or three
days in a row, which is at the top of the
cycle, when the MMs are short-selling. After
they get in, the MMs will bring down the pps
down again to collect cheap shares -- and
the investors are scared of the falling pps
and forced to sell. This process has been
going on for almost all stocks, including
AMEP,CLBE, and DIAAF, since the beginning
of stock trading. Finding the top and bottom
of a stock is each and every investor's
resposibility. Unfortuately many investors
will blame the poster of a stock when the pps
makes a correction.
To protect yourself for future bashings, I
suggest that you put a warning at the end of your
msg, such as "Each stock trading is a gamble --
do your DD and play your own game." BTW, I found
most of your bashers are free loaders, they
never contributed to any DDs for the board.
This board is useful because many posters
like yourself are generous in spending time
and effort to find some stocks that we
can all make a profit in trading.
Your DDs have been very informative and
helpful. I wish more members will be more
proactive in contributing DDs or making phone calls
to the TAs.Thanks for your time and effort.

That was great Jim. Quest for sure was away from allstocks for a while only because he was mistreated in the DIAAF thread. But I can vouch for every word you said about him.. Because he spends enormous amount of time doing DD.. If Quest brings a pick, that means there is a value to it. I hope quest will start spending more time in allstocks which will eventually benefit all.

Thanks again.

Good evening all,
Some additional info from Yahoo, 97mm in the float, Furla has bought 1.1mm since October and Emmett has sold appx. 895000 in the same period. Interesting that one would be buying and one would be selling. Also it traded over 1/2 the float Friday, 49mm shares. The only concern is that it has had no revenue in the last year but with these new movies out that should change if they do well. May have to buy some Monday after some more diggin... TMAN...

I appreciate the thought and I like your idea about the message to give other posters but the only one that collapsed was DIAAF

I posted CLBE at .02 and it broke the teens and is still trading in the high singles

I posted AMEP first at .0078 and then at .012 and it hit .10's and is still flipping beteen .05 and .06

DIAAF posted at .0038 in the beginning up to .01's and was a good buy and now that the tax issues are getting cleared up it may be sparked again, either way I was still obligated to all of you to show the truth of what was about to happen and I want all of you to get out before it collapsed. They are still waiting for the WFMI announcement there but both companies have to comply since another company has a contract still.

as for FMLY I seriously believe this is doing a massive turn around, they are now making money and should be very profitable, they have several releases coming up and their profit margin has been increased. It looks like its heading for the double digits and some penny players are setting teen targets already.

Bruce Willis and Mos Def Star in "16 Blocks"
May 6, 2005 - Emmett/Furla Films announced the start of principal photography on the Richard Donner ("Lethal Weapon") action thriller, "16 Blocks", starrring Bruce Willis and Mos Def ("The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy"). Richard Wenk wrote the screenplay.
According to the official synopsis released by Family Room Entertainment, "16 Blocks" follows Jack Mosley (Willis), an aging cop assigned the mundane task of escorting a fast-talking, wise-cracking young witness (Mos Def) to the courthouse - 16 city blocks away - and the action-packed thrill ride that takes place in those 16 blocks.

Co-chairmen Randall Emmett and George Furla said, "We are excited to be working with the strong creative talents of Dick and Bruce. We believe that '16 Blocks' is a high-concept picture with commercial appeal and, with the elements assembled, solid potential."

support level is beefing up now and thats important! we have real DD to support this run and its so undervalued its pathetic! resistance at .03 is no where as heavy as the .022 thats being picked at now.I still firmly believe we are looking at a double digit play soon.

I think news is a must soon.

Posted by creativeflood on :

Leaking badly, I don't think .03's are realistic at this point without news. It would be nice just to close in the .02's...

so how long do you guys think this play is going to last?? how long til we see .05 or maybe .10?

Posted by snowtion on :

well with the resistance, i dont think it is going to raise much higher today unless there some more news to bring it up, however, with the new projects fmly has its only a matter of time.

Its just about product and keeping busy putting out the product.. They sit on 5 or 6 guarantees just do a little DD on your own. Its all there with Rin Tin Tin and White Air. ect.

lendeborg....I think your near term targets will prove to be quite accurate, looking at the two year chart shows we have started into a major uptrend cycle and every here knows I hate charting OTC's but I couldn't resist spec'ing charts on this one.

With the expected stall this morning this is looking even better now with the level 2 line up but I wouldn't expect much until after lunch, its setting up better then yesterday at this time though I will say that.

quick jump to .03's on light volume of buys possible

Hi Quest, just wondering at what point would you exit this stock? I know many of us have our own system, but when you're up 75% its hard not to sell. You seem to feel the potential here is much more then that...Just curious at what point will you feel the urge to sell;)

Posted by QuestSolver on :

this has been on a constant uptick sionce the predicted morning dip and its gap filling all the way.Its about to go green and all this during lunchtime yet!
I also changed my position here to buy and hold mid to long term because I believe this should hit the mid teens in the very VERY near future.I have not flipped this at all yet but may consider splitting some off in the high single digits, not even sure about that though.

Thanks for sharing, I appreciate it. As I've said when I first posted on this board, it's nice to find an intelligent board without a bunch of kids swearing at each other. Thanks for the pick Dust.

the ask started to get pounded hard at 1:55 yesterday just after the lunchtime lull that started the rally, bid support is not showing more strength,I wonder if the timing will repeat itself...LOL!

Here is the total box office for HOSTAGE (Bruce Willis' last film). It's opening weekend numbers were not as good as 16 BLOCKS and it didn't have Oscar weekend to contend with.

Domestic: $34,639,939 44.4%
+ Overseas: $43,304,786 55.6%
= Worldwide: $77,944,725

looks just like yesterday so far!! heres the PRE shake before the run up I believe!many won't want to be out of this by close, and a chance of a pre open PR would send this one into crazy mode.Still betting on 55 mill volume today with an EOD rally to push it hard!

lots of little buys passing, man they are pushing hard on this one to hold it back.Closed up overseas by 24%

I see a lot of red all around today.

CNES, USXP, GWGO, RSHN

Perhaps tomorrow will be overall good.

What does everyone think FMLY will do PR wise? If they're going to boast about 16 blocks revenue IMO they'll wait till after next weekend to try and take the number one spot. Matt

Posted by QuestSolver on :

MAN!! they are doing everything they can to stifle a rally and shake out more inventory!!this really burns me up,no wonder the SEC gets so many complaints!! Come on FMLY post a PR and ROCK THEIR WORLD!!

Posted by QuestSolver on :

when they choose to step up they can put the hammer down, thats why these are so unpredictable at times but at least we are much higher today with a new support, let it take a breather I guess.I am loaded and will sit on shares at this level and be very happy about it in the near future
They just straight up stopped the rally

Posted by Dustoff101 on :

Danny, sooner or later you have to disipline yourself to taking profits as they fall in your lap...You might do what I do and figger out a profit level per play, then stick to it...

Also, you have to seperate in your mind long and short positions and then stick to it!

Sticking to any plan is key! Man, do I need to learn that!!!! Patience is most definitely a virtue!

If all goes well with FMLY, I'll buy dusty a ticket on Hawaiian, so he can get in some fishing:-) I'm cautiosly optomistic about this stock! I wouldn't even have been in it if I hadn't read your post last Friday about it.

PDX, OK! LOL

Hey dude maybe you should take a look at a amex I posted, might be a very good long...

BTW, When are the New Dream Ship Boeing 787's gonna go Hawaiian? They say even in economy class even those seats will have some leg room..Bigger overhead bins for carry on?

Posted by PDX1312 on :

Dream Ship is aptly named for any plane with more leg room! for the longer legged gentleman, we could use a bit more space to stretch out:-)

How are the L2's looking? Hopefully we can get some of the MM's to back off a bit! .10 in the next couple of weeks would be nice! Then, it's off for some ahi!

It is disappointing to see the stock like this, but it was almost evident that such a downward trend was going occur after its huge spike. It will move back up, that is assured.

Posted by creativeflood on :

Even if this goes down more today...there are still 3 solid movies that will soon be released and it is possbile that 16 Blocks will overtake the number 1 spot this weekend. I'm going to hang tough and let it ride on this one...

Posted by QuestSolver on :

Not sure if this got posted here yet.Even though we are down a bit don't get discouraged, there are plenty of money making things about to come into play for the company.Don't look at this as a tic by tic play, look at it as a mid to long over the next few weeks.

Jon Avnet Creating a Second World
Source: Variety
March 9, 2006

Jon Avnet is set to direct action thriller Second World, which Emmett/Furla Films will produce with Avent's Brooklyn Films. Variety says that Avnet, who is in post-production on Al Pacino starrer 88 Minutes, is scheduled to begin shooting this fall. Cast has not been set.

The film, from a spec script by Scott King, revolves around a top assassin -- and mother -- who must stop a deadly virus from spreading. But in order to halt the potential pandemic, she must team up with the virus' creator, who also is her target.

Producers are Randall Emmett, George Furla and Avnet.

Avent said the story is a "ride from beginning to end."

Not for me. I'm taking my losses and moving on. Good luck guys - I'll keep my eye on it though. Looks like "3 Black Crows" are forming. Very strong reversal signal of an uptrend.

It looks like it's at the support pre-run of .016 with previous highs and then the 50 day support line at .015. Not for me though. Tschuss! Matt

ALWAYS!!!! Have a pre-set profit margin, SET IN STONE, IRON, STEEL!!!!! well ya get the idea...

When a stock moves up hard, it will generaly come down!!

The Odds are against you if blindly play the majority of OTC OTCBB'S LONG!

There are good OTCBB'S for Long term holds, but this cheap stuff will almost always burn ya if ya buy and hold at to high a price.

We need to see how this stock behaves today to really get a better handle on it...

Volume is KEY!

Greed KILLS!! On Wall Street.

0.038 in 5 weeks. This is because the MMs
got the majority of the shares now. They will
swing a few times under 0.05. See the chart
of IMNR, and you will find out how it
works. Patience is the key to win the
game. Read Joemillion's thread on
RSHN, he has been waiting for one year.
Patience will prevail.

JimSC, the problem? sure these things cycle, and can make a long position viable....But people put way to much money in one or two of these things, and then do not take profits when the profits fall right in their laps.....$300-500.00 should be the limit, long term, for the average "Joe"

Then adjust when the thing starts to run again...

In the mean time you have money working everyday that would otherwise be stuck!

Thanks for the tips, been doing it for a while, but still have a lot to learn. I will read that thread on RSHN for addtional info. Thanks.

followed by some good PR on monday morning about "16 blocks" taking #1

what has 16 blocks grossed so far. i hope some one knows

Posted by snowtion on :

well it hasnt been what they expected, thats probably why it dropped without any support

Posted by JimSC on :

The MMs got a huge inventory to unload.
They will raise the pps gradully, but
they will swing a few times to collect
more cheap shares. The PRs don't work
if the MMs are not ready to run it.
Each trade is a gamble -- do your DD and play
your own game.

ATTENTION! Have something to say about Edison.

I visit the theatre yesterday, and I can only say that Edison is a terrific movie. A little bit violent, but outstanding in one word.

I saw EMMET/FURLA FILMS on the screen realy huge projected approx. 15 meters * 10 meters. (Millennium Films presented Emmet/Furla Film with the EFF logo).

Then I saw both names also huge projected. George Furla and Randal Emmet.

To me it looks like Emmet/Furla made the movie. The names popped off the screen so huge was it.

The theatre was sold out to the last chair. I checked it myself.

And I think Justin Timberlake did a nice job as a journalist.

I can only say I had a nice evening. Terrific movie, high quality IMO and nice special effects. Good job EFF.

Among holdovers, the Bruce Willis cop drama 16 Blocks fared best grossing an estimated $7.3M in its second weekend putting its ten-day cume at $22.7M. The Warner Bros. film also enjoyed the smallest decine in the top ten slipping 38%. A final take of $35-40M seems likely

Revamped regs send funds back to drawing board
Investors to scrutinize each step in production

By SIMON KINGSLEY, Mon., Feb. 2, 2004, 5:00pm PT

BERLIN -- Since 1997, German media funds have raised some $8 billion. Hollywood got the loot, the Teutonic tax office didn't. Finally wising up, the government amended the law Jan. 1. "It's now much harder for German funds to invest in U.S. films," says Siegmar Pohl, head of German media at law firm Hammonds. "In the future, funds will have to fulfill more stringent requirements."

The most important one is the advisory board, requiring the investors to take a more entrepreneurial role by playing producer.

The boards, comprising investors, must now make substantial decisions on all steps in the production process including selecting the story, script, main cast and director -- in other words, act like a real producer.

The fund isn't allowed to use the board to simply rubber-stamp its decisions, or make any without the board's approval.

Germany‘s film funds resurfacing
Staff and agencies
13 February, 2006

By Scott Roxborough 30 minutes ago

BERLIN (Hollywood Reporter) - Germany‘s once all-powerful film funds, which found themselves left out in the cold after the government shut them down last year, used the Berlin International Film Festival to rebrand themselves as responsible partners of film producers and not just tax-dodge specialists.

Fund groups including major players VIP Media, Equity Pictures and Apollo Media on Monday announced the formation of a national association, Private Capital Film & Media, which they say will act as a bridge between independent producers and German private capital.

"The message is, we are the friend of the producers, (and) we want to help producers tap the potential of the German equity market," association spokesman and Munich media attorney Robert Strasser said. "We understand, because of the controversy surrounding some of the funds in the past, (that) our first job will be to win back the trust of the film and television community as well as the financial community."

Germany‘s film funds, which raised billions in private equity to invest in mainly U.S. productions, were shuttered last year by the German government, which viewed most of the funds as little more than an elaborate tax dodge.

Germany‘s old funds tapped mainly wealthy professionals, typified by the "rich dentist" who would invest $100,000 into a blind film-fund pool to defer paying taxes. The new fund association says the new sources of private film financing will come directly from banks and investment companies as well as wealthy individuals willing to plunk down $1 million or more on projects.

Strasser estimates that the German market has the potential to raise $200 million-$300 million a year in private equity for film production. "It might not be the billions the funds used to collect, but it isn‘t bad, and it could mean a lot more production for Germany," he said.

The PR that was expected was apparently and slightly delayed per one contact that I have spoken with yesterday and it will cover more then just the movie releases but I could not get any details other then that.....keep in mind my friends on the west coast are not tied directly with the company, just some contacts that help me with some hard to find info on some picks since certain ones are in better research positions.I too feel that .018's is THEE bottom now with strong support.

I just got off the phone with Melissa from FMLY and they are going over some things right now and Mr.Walton will be calling me back shortly (which I take within the next day since thats how they think in Hollywood...LOL)They have a list of questions from me that is actually being looked at and hopefully we get a response asap!

look at the bolded section of this PR that was released last month.

The following projects, in connection with which Emmett/Furla Films provided producing services, have completed principal photography and are currently in post-production:

-- "THE WICKER MAN," starring Nicolas Cage for director Neil
LaBute ("IN THE COMPANY OF MEN");

-- "THE CONTRACT," starring John Cusack and Academy Award winner
Morgan Freeman with Academy Award Nominee Bruce Beresford
directing; and

-- "88 MINUTES" starring Al Pacino for director John Avnet ("UP
CLOSE AND PERSONAL").

The following project, in connection with which Emmett/Furla Films provided co-financing and producing services, has completed principal photography and is currently in post-production:

-- "BORDERLAND," which Lions Gate Films will distribute, is a

horror picture based on a true story.

As we are currently in negotiations on several projects, FMLY hopes to release information on these projects by the end of the current quarter.

from the other board....its clear now that a major reversal is about to start!!

Fast MACD and RSI look like bottoms and ADX looks like the start of an up-trend. Note the pps when +DI moves above -DI. IMHO, YMMV, BYOB, TTYL!

I am still confident this will hit the double digits near term!
