I set my stop at .76 and lit a black candle I got from an ugly old hag that said to use it to ward off bad things....

Posted by Dustoff101 on :

Right now we should know which way the sellars and buyers are going to go..

The specialists are playing with us.

had a chance to buy at .68 and didnt...hmmm..level 2s for nasdaq stocks sure are weird..lol

Got in at .68

Posted by Phoenixx on :

The free L2 I'm using through Medved Quotetracker (Island Level 2) looks like if we can break through .72, next stop is .79...

But I've not used L2 much, and from my experience with it yesterday, Nasdaq L2s seem to shift wildly...

Posted by Phoenixx on :

The L2 is pretty calm today.....69 is thinnish

Posted by Danny12345 on :

yep

Posted by Phoenixx on :

Ask looking sorta thin again (relatively speaking).....70 hopefully soon.

Posted by Phoenixx on :

(I'll keep updating this post if I can)

ask:

1 x .679 378
2 x .68 1000
3 x .70 3500
4 x .71 1800
2 x .72 1100
1 x .79 2000
1 x 1.75 1100
1 x 1.80 50
1 x 2.00 8000

course it can and does change..

Course this also isnt real-time..sometimes delayed ...by 5 mins sometimes.

Phoenixx,,,How in the World can you trade without realtime L2'S?

A 5 minute delay is the differance between success and failure......

Do you have a trading account?

Posted by Dustoff101 on :

This massive selloff is downticking for two days.
Why the selloff? There is not a good indicater from news..

This stock obviously has lost the faith of many..

But then again, it could be just clearing the books for Tax purposes...

The behavior of the sellers does not bode well for the longs..

Posted by Phoenixx on :

Well it's currently real-time atm..and for some weird reason, 200 doesnt equal 20,000 shares on this screen..been watching the buys on Scottrade's Time and Sales, and it ticks away accordingly on the Level 2s...

Well, actually, Dustoff, I've just gotten back into buying stocks...trying to stick with big-board stuff..so not worried too much about daytrading...not really daytrading unless I can get a killer deal...which means buying WAVX prolly was a mistake, lol...we'll see. It does appear to have some support down here..maybe a jump up in 2006? I need to learn how to read reports better..

edit: I cant really afford real-time L2 until I can build up my funds..not sure I wanna play with pennies anymore anyway. Just seems like this Island II Level 2 streaming suffers a little lag, then suddenly it's in real-time. <shrugs>

Posted by Dustoff101 on :

Posted by Phoenixx on :

COMPANY NEWS AND PRESS RELEASES FROM OTHER SOURCES:
Wave Systems on Winning Team with Operational Research Consultants, Inc. for U.S. GSA Blanket Purchase Agreement Award

LEE, Mass., Jan 10, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Wave Systems Corp. (Nasdaq: WAVX - www.wave.com) announced today that the company is teamed with Operational Research Consultants, Inc. (ORC), a wholly owned subsidiary of WidePoint Corporation (OTC BB: WDPT), in connection with the first Blanket Purchase Agreement award issued under the new U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) "Authentication Products and Services" Category Special Item No. (SIN) 160 32, part of existing IT Schedule 70 (the "ORC ACES BPA"). The ORC ACES BPA is an indefinite delivery/ indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) program that has total ceiling value of $100 million.

Under the BPA award ORC will provide certified credentialing for identity management solutions to federal, state and local governments. In connection with an agreement between ORC and Wave, Wave expects ORC to provide federal government authorized Access Certificates for Electronic Services (ACES) capability, in combination with Wave's Embassy(R) Trust Suite secure software technology for use with compliant public key infrastructures. The terms upon which Wave will participate in the project are subject to the completion of a subcontract to be entered into between Wave and ORC.

The BPA recognizes ORC as a fully operational ACES and Shared Services Provider (SSP) as well as a provider of Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD-12) products and services. Further, the BPA also recognizes the ORC team as the only provider of Personnel Identity Verification (PIV) ready solutions for HSPD-12 products and services. The combined products of ORC and Wave offer HSPD-12 ready solutions for both "logical" and "physical" security.

"ORC is working with Wave to make trusted computing solutions embedded with External Certificate Authority (ECA) and ACES digital certificates available to all branches of government," said Daniel Turissini, president of ORC. "The combination of Wave's Embassy software technology integrated with ORC's Trusted Third Party services provides another tool to ensure high levels of Information Assurance technologies in the ongoing efforts to protect personal information within the federal government."

"Authenticating a computer user into a network by using methods more secure than passwords is a continuing effort for network administrators within government and enterprises," said Steven Sprague, president and CEO, Wave Systems. "With the ORC ACES BPA, government administrators will now have easy access to Class 3 PKI certificates that can be used within a Trusted Computing-based framework: a network of personal computers secured by industry standard Trusted Platform Modules and Wave's powerful and secure software technology."
