Intevac, Inc.. The Group's principal activities are to design, manufacture and market of magnetic media used in hard disk drives and a developer and provider of technology for extreme low-light imaging sensors, cameras and systems. The Group operates in two segments: Equipment and Imaging. Equipment business designs, manufactures, markets and services complex capital equipment used in the sputtering, or deposition, of highly engineered thin-films of material onto magnetic disks which are used in hard disk drives.
