IDS Worldwide, Inc. Receives NASDAQ Approval to Begin Trading Under New Symbol IDWD
IDS Worldwide, Inc. Begins Trading Under New Symbol
10/19/2005 10:52:18 AM

ORLANDO, FL, Oct 19, 2005 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- IDS Worldwide, Inc. (IDWD) today has begun trading under the new symbol assigned by NASDAQ (IDWD). In conjunction with this name change, CUSIP Number change and Trading Symbol change is a mandatory call by the DTC of all common stock of the old CUSIP Number. This mandatory call will not affect IDS shareholders holding stock in their brokerage accounts. Only brokerage customers who have borrowed the stock must now close and balance these transactions.

This mandatory call will allow IDS to determine the exact number of common shares to receive the special one time dividend related to the buyout of the Company's HLS Division. IDS will maintain ownership in the new entity owning the HLS division so this accurate count of common stockholders and audit of the breakout of the HLS division is necessary to determine the final valuation of the special dividend.

Scottrader refusing to bring up the new symbol. <grumble>

I'm still holding for now I guess, but this beating around the issue is not pleasing me at all.

Phoenixx,

That's strange. I use Scottrade's realtime streaming quotes and it shows up there. Did you use the new symbol or the old one?

IDS Worldwide, Inc. CTO Awarded Best Professional Security Data Product Asia Pacific Region for 2004
10/20/05

IDS Worldwide, Inc. Reveals New Data Security Product With 384 Bit
Data Encryption

ORLANDO, FL, Oct 20, 2005 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) --
IDS Worldwide, Inc. (OTC: IDWD) today announced that IDS Worldwide, Inc. CTO, Yasar Khawar, Head of the Company's Homeland Security Division has been chosen by the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) Asia Pacific Region to be honored for the Best Professional Security Data Product for Asia Pacific Region for 2004.

This new technology, which encompasses 384 Bit Data Encryption 18 layers deep, is a quantum leap in protecting data being transmitted across the internet backbone. Most data security products currently on the market use 128 Bit Encryption Technology. It has been determined through testing and evaluation that it would take 12 years on mainframe computers to decipher this new encryption technology. IDS Worldwide, Inc. CEO Patrick Downs, stated, "IDS is very proud of this accomplishment and related award by the IEEE for its talented CTO Mr. Khawar. Mr. Khawar has been the lightning rod behind many cutting edge technologies created by IDS Worldwide, Inc. for the Homeland Security and Biometric Divisions."

This new technology will enable more secure data transmissions that because of the time needed to decipher will make data transmissions using IDS 384 Bit Encryption Technology virtually hack-proof. This new encryption technology when combined with IDS current Biometric Security Products will enable banks, government agencies and VPN networks the ultimate security for their transmitted data. This new security technology once again pushes IDS Worldwide, Inc. to the forefront of protecting Fortune 500 companies and government agencies in securing their data transfers. Data Encryption Security Products have grown to a Multi-Billion Dollar market with increasing growth rates over the last few years.

IDS is pleased that once again IDS technologies have been judged by the leading organizational governing bodies to be some of the best new security products in the world. IDS Worldwide, Inc. expects this new 384 bit encryption technology to lead to significant revenue increases for the company.

IDS CTO, Mr. Yasar Khawar will travel to Thailand next week to be presented the award from the IEEE Professional Engineering Society of Asia Pacific Engineers Governing Body for this breakthrough technology.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but why does my stock symbol have a # after it, and state:

# Not available for sale due to a reorg or a tender offer

This is in Scottrade...

edit: It didnt have this yesterday when the symbol changed.

Phoenix,

Not sure about the answer, but probably because your broker has to return your shs to the IDWD Transfer Agent to get a new issuance. Remember, they did call in the old shs, got a new cusip number and chgd the Symbol. I wouldn't worry about it.

Posted by Phoenixx on :

Yeah, I called my broker. The new shares should be in later today. It just confused me, cause yesterday it wasnt like that. I was wondering if I missed a PR somewhere where they were getting bought out or something...or something that would require a trade halt...which I didnt see, so I wondered...

Thanks.

phoenixx, who do you trade with? there is reportedly a massive short position on this stock, which is the reason for the symbol change and new cusip number, in the first place. IF there is a short, won't impact you or me at all, but it force the brokerages that shorted to cover

Still no news on what we want........the dividend.

Yup. One promise broken and probably more to come. Even if we do get the dividend I'm not happy with their lack of consistancy.

I just received this from datatech. I was ready to sell. Won't sell now. I advised her that I was retired from the FBI and a lot of people here thought IDWD was a scam. Be your own judge. Using my best judgement, I'm holding!

Crossbow, just got internet connection here in hotel lobby in Bangkok. I got in Thailand last nite for Society meeting and awards this week with CTO. Data Center almost calibrated in States we are finishing final details from here and will turn on this Friday when CTO back in Pakistan. Speed is incredible and we hope to have Edmunds and Travel both up this coming weekend. I saw in CNN real bad in Florida now hope all are safe. What I know about dividend and buyout it is definitely not a pink sheet scam but OTCBB company. It is very complex deal but adds huge value to the IDWD stock. It is designed so that even after special dividend stock will retain its value. I think after all publicity here in Thailand this week IDS will be in alot security and tech publications with this technology. The public has no idea, and even I don't know the complete market value, of this encryption level combined with IDS biometric technology. Stay safe and be back soon.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! BIG NEWS:

IDS Worldwide, Inc. Announces Additional Share Repurchase Program Funding
IDS Worldwide, Inc. Announces Repurchase of Up to 5,000,00 Common Shares Effective Immediately
IDS Worldwide, Inc. (OTC BB: IDWD) today announced that under a credit facility with officers and directors IDS has approved the immediate repurchase of up to 5,000,000 shares of the company's common stock. These repurchases will not affect cash flow or interrupt company operations as the funds are being provided for by certain officers and directors to take advantage of current market prices conditions. IDS will purchase these shares up to and including the ex-dividend date to be announced shortly. IDS Worldwide, Inc. had received several unsolicited proposals from hedge fund and/or stock loan promoters in the past week and has categorically rejected by not even acknowledging these email and telephone offers. IDS CEO, Patrick Downs stated, "IDS wishes to assure it common stockholders that IDS will not enter into any agreements with these hedge fund companies that historically have shown to hurt common stockholders. IDS observed simultaneously, with these unsolicited offers, downward pressure on the stock price in order to entice IDS to accept these offers. Officers and Directors have chosen to establish a credit facility from their own resources to begin immediately buying back shares from these lower prices and to assure all common stockholders IDS will not deal with these fringe companies that seek to take advantage of common stockholders." These repurchases have begun in the market today and will continue at the minimum until the ex-dividend date.

IDS expects to conclude the breakout audit of the HLS division overseas this week and finalize with US tax counsel immediately thereafter. IDS also announced that the specialized RAM for the new datacenter has been received and loaded in the last 24 hours and technicians will now complete the transfer of the 995ad.com databases and upgrades. IDS plans to instruct Network Solutions to transfer the domains to the new datacenter later this week.

995ad.com will launch a nationwide campaign in such media as USA Today announcing the new datacenter and our pricing structure of "$9.95 Good Till Sold." Customers will be able to place ads and sell their products for only $9.95 per ad, good till sold (users will have to update and renew their ad online every 30 days up to a limit of 12 weeks). IDS completed research has established this pricing structure after judging that most products are usually sold in the 1st 60 days of ad placement if they are going to sell. This will give IDS portal 995ad.com a superior pricing advantage over all competitors in the market and combined with the new high speed datacenter significant market penetration abilities for all sections of the 995ad.com portal. The last 4 trades look like mirror trades...

.40 6000 13:19:24 buy
.385 6000 13:19:25 sell
.40 2000 13:22:09 buy
.385 2000 13:22:10 sell

This is according to Scottrader, which, given its general crappiness, in anyone's guess..

Hey chanhous,

If you're still watching this thread, you might want to correct the poster "chisox pat" who stated

http://investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=8223510

"Actually he announced that he "approved" the buyback of five million shares, not that he actually was going to do so."

The PR clearly states:

"These repurchases have begun in the market today and will continue at the minimum until the ex-dividend date."

Which means one of 2 things:

1) Downs and/or others in company are lying.
2) The company bought shares today.

Just my view atm.

“995ad.com will launch a nationwide campaign in such media as USA Today announcing the new datacenter and our pricing structure of "$9.95 Good Till Sold."”

“…IDS portal 995ad.com [will have] a superior pricing advantage over all competitors in the market and combined with the new high speed datacenter significant market penetration abilities for all sections of the 995ad.com portal.”

Not so sure still holding all of my position theres so much crap being thrown around Im supprised over on ihub 4 poster talk back and forth to each other all day long about how bad the stock is and they have no position in it ever since the stock went up seems to be holding the high 30s but we will see Im going to wait it out unless I see something obvious that makes me bail right now I dont

GLTY

Posted by Dudanation on :

Right with ya Denskijr. Everytime I bail out of a dying stock it booms the next day. I want definite proof they were full of it on the divy before I sell. And if they're not lying we get our money back plus much more. It's a risk, it's the stock market.

Posted by DENSKIJR on :

Yeah right now my gut says that I don't think it will be all cash I have a feeling it will be part cash part stock I'm not sure since if it is cash the CEO owns a ton of shares he is restricted for a year to sell which means this is a way to put cash in his pocket. The problem with a gut feeling is it good just be "Gas" LOL

Posted by Dudanation on :

How will he get cash, awarding us stock and keeping the money for himself? More stock isn't really worth it unless the price stays where it's at. But there won't be too many people interested if it's all stock and no cash. Is there a possibility of them not putting out the dividend at all?

Posted by Phoenixx on :

I've had enough -- I'm out at .32, regardless of the fact it wasnt worth selling...tired of the BS of lying companies. Maybe I'm wrong though -- wish you guys luck. Maybe I can get in at a lower price later -- we'll see.

Posted by DENSKIJR on :

Crap!!!! '

Im serously screwed. It seems that we might have been douped here. If people really belived the company they would be buying not selling and alot of selling is going on right now.

Damn Damn

Hey wallace what are you doing with this?????

Posted by Phoenixx on :

What amazes me, is that if Downs really is on probation for securities fraud in the past, why is he taking such a risk? I mean...wouldnt that be incredibly stupid of him? Between this issue of his checkered past, plus the continued silence on the dividend, give this company a credibility problem, or, at the very least a trust deficit that needs to be overcome with good faith on their part.

I didnt own that many shares. Maybe I should have just held on, but I sold in a fit of disgust. I think it's possible the stock will at least rebound back into the .30s, but who knows.

Posted by Dudanation on :

I'm still waiting. No point in bailing now the price can't go much lower until there's actual negative news. There are still people buying it for the sells to happen even if there may be more people wanting to sell than buy.

Posted by DENSKIJR on :

I'm still holding it must be just a glutton for punishment LOL. It's definatly been a crapy month for me Im telling you next year I probalby be buying puts but who knows also in disgust right now but didn't want to pull the trigger. but the silence doesn't help me thats for sure.

GLTA

Dennis

Posted by Dudanation on :

Yeah I don't get how a company can put out all this hype about something and then completely stop talking about it. I sometimes wish I had a lot more money to waste away because I'd just keep on buying all these extremely low priced shares. At the very least it'd help keep the price higher and people's faith in there... and me richer when it turns out they ARE NOT lying lol.

We actually do not have any facts to base on this decrease in share value other than people are just getting totally turned off by the silence. That would normally be a good thing to me because it means cheap shares. But the only thing that keeps me from dumping my last pennies in is the fact the CEO has a criminal record. But that's really the only bad thing I see in this. The silence is only aggrevating...

IDS Worldwide, Inc. Addresses Certain Misleading Online Postings on Internet Message Boards

By Market Wire
Last Update: 11/2/2005 12:44:19 PM
Data provided by

ORLANDO, FL, Nov 02, 2005 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- IDS Worldwide, Inc. (IDWD) today announced that in response to several misleading message posts on fringe Internet stock message board sites that IDS' recent press release of an award to IDS CTO Yasar Khawar did not occur, IDS has posted a scanned copy of the picture of the award ceremony, and a copy of the award itself is posted on the corporate website news section.

Another prime example of misleading message posts, IDS has been informed that numerous times on the Internet there have been misleading messages posted, trying to convince investors that IDS is only a "mail drop," that are patently false. These posts went so far as to say they had "visited" IDS' address and that the company did not exist. IDS has been at the same office facility for years and occupies the major portion of the top floor of the SunTrust Bank building. The building operates a mailroom and overnight delivery service in Suite 100 of the 2nd floor of the building. Suite 100 is on the 2nd floor of the building where, had anyone visited, the receptionist would have informed them of our location on the 3rd floor, where we have been for years.

IDS also maintains, and has for years, a 32,000-sq.-ft. headquarters overseas, which it fully owns. IDS further will post pertinent investor information on a new section of the company's website at http://www.ids-worldwide.com to inform investors first hand on updates of various projects. This will occur next week following the overseas holiday of Eid, which started today and runs till Sunday.

IDS has experienced some vendor delays in getting all of the new equipment online at the data center, which is not uncommon in technology hardware deliveries. IDS hopes to have the last of this equipment installed this week and the upgraded 995ad.com loaded, including the feed under our Edmunds.com agreement soon thereafter. IDS technical teams worked today to resolve the final technical links to launch the Travel Section with the live feeds for the 70,000 hotels and resorts worldwide.

IDS further assures its stockholders that again, contrary to certain online postings on fringe stock information message boards, the special dividend is going forward and the audit overseas needed have been completed and the stock recall is continuing. The HLS buyout involves several closing requirements such as new contracts that have been achieved, security shipments in transit, and additional shipments received yesterday from Tyco division DSC at the Orlando warehouse facilities. These warehouse facilities also hold thousands of units of product under the NML contract whose infomercial is in the final stages of editing and preparing for relaunch on national TV; this is another example of timetables that were of no control to IDS. IDS will hold a Board meeting in the near future to try and finalize the ex-dividend date after all reports from tax and legal counsel.

Finally, IDS advises investors to look to the new section on IDS' website beginning next week that will have real updates that do not appear on these online message board sites as a real source of information. IDS will also have scanned copies of contracts for review regarding leases, contracts and other updates so investors will be able to see for themselves the real progress of the company.

Did you notice on the supposed IEEE award they posted on their internet site, "Electornics" is misspelled. How could IEEE, which is a very well-known and respected organization, give out an award where they would misspell "Electornics"

Posted by Dudanation on :

All I know is I'm very mad because I sold at the low of the day before this was announced. I still don't trust them just by the way they approach the whole fraud thing, and if the company was serious enough I don't think they'd be so concerned with what other people are posting about them. That article made me feel like their PR's are just another investor throwing at BS information at us. But I am still mad that I sold obviously because I gladly would have sold and gotten out of this crap if I saw it going up like this. Will probably increase again tomorrow and then drop again until something for real happens. I am not buying these back unless the ex-div date is stated and confirmed to where they must pay it. Can there even be a point where they HAVE to give it out or can they announce it and just not pay it? I'm very very very skeptical about this entire company and that PR that supposedly cleared things up only made me even more cautious about them. I feel bad for the dumb people that bought shares today with intents on holding just because of that PR. It's not a safe investment as of right now and may never be. Just my two and a half cents.

If you look at IEEE stuff, that is how they spell it. People sure seem quick to get this price down.

Posted by Phoenixx on :

Are you trying to imply something? [Smile]

I dont think anyone in this thread is bashing, considering how at least 3 of us lost money...and care to point out links that verify the spelling?

I'm staring at the IEEE website right now, and so far I've only seen 3 instances of the word, and it's all been spelled "electronic".

Any search for the award's recipient's name comes up blank, whether it's in the award section or under the general search function of the websites. I see "Yasar" and "Khawar" as parts of seperate names... <shrug>

No implications. Just an inexperienced poster, I guess. Just meant posters seem very down right now. One immediate link with IEEE and that spelling that I found was a PDF file from the publication committee TIIssGuide.pdf

Fascinating...(found your PDF by the way)

Question is now:

1. Are those all typoes
2. Did IEEE typo or is "electornics" an alternate spelling and do they use it in their awards..
3. Is "electornics" an obscure form of spelling it..

Over 42,000 references to "electornics" on the web. 104,000 references to "electornic"

edit: 901,000,000 references to "electronic". 362,000,000 references to "electronics" Guess that isnt too bad of a typo rate. [Razz]

I'm thinking that a lot of those results in the web search are typoes because when I follow the links, it's not misspelled, as if they caught and corrected their error..

I also noted huge hits for 'electornics'. Couldn't find any definition in dictionaries. Must be extremely common typo. The big question is, Who made the typo?

Regardless, the company is unprofessional and is reacting to all this with concern because they're all hype. I've never thought a company would be worried about bashers on boards and address it in a PR by sounding like another investor trying to get everyone back in. And whether they got the award or not is irrelevant. They are not showing us any productivity. Only delayed promises (ultimately false)

I agree whether they got an award from IEEE or somebody else is not relevant. However, the company saying they got an award from IEEE when they really didn't speaks volumes to the company's credibility.

Indeed. If that's the case (they are lying) then they aren't worth trusting at all ever. If they'd lie about something that doesn't affect the investor they'd probably lie about something that would (dividend) Just the fact that they addressed the issue and had to try and prove all the bashing was wrong is enough to convince me they aren't reliable. Proof of them lying is not necessary but a definite sign of a scam.

IDS Worldwide, Inc. Updates New Data Center

IDS Announces 995ad.com Pricing and Marketing Campaign

ORLANDO, FL, Nov 17, 2005 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) --
IDS Worldwide, Inc. (OTC: IDWD) today announced that all new equipment has been installed and tested successfully at the new high-speed data center to run IDS internet portal 995ad.com (http://www.995ad.com). The transfer of the data is complete and IDS has requested Network Solutions to transfer the DNS for the domain 995ad.com to the new data center. Network Solutions usually takes 24-72 hours for the DNS transfer to become effective, after this change clients will notice significant increased speed of the portal. This is a tremendous milestone for 995ad.com in a short period of time that after the DNS transfer will enable lightning fast searches of the 550,000+ cars currently listed by the over 12,900 auto dealers on the http://www.995ad.com site making it one of the largest car sites on the internet in the company's first year of operation.

IDS will launch a major public awareness campaign after the launch of 995ad.com at the new high-speed data center. The first phase of this marketing campaign will be direct mail launched this weekend to thousands of auto dealers nationwide. IDS has already incorporated some of the live feeds under its agreement with auto vendors to add more functionality to the site. IDS will announce its pricing structure for ads on 995ad.com, "All ads only $9.95, Good till Sold!!" This pricing structure and the high-speed data center will give 995ad.com significant market advantages over current competitors in the online market sales of cars, boats, and houses. This online market, already a Multi-Billion Dollar market, has shown double-digit growth for the past years and forecasts show this trend to continue. IDS will launch a nationwide multi-media campaign to auto, boat, cycle and truck dealers as well as the general public to introduce the significant cost advantages of advertising their products for sale online.

In recent weeks IDS has met at their corporate headquarters in Orlando, Florida with several auto dealers who presently use both the 995ad.com site and autotrader.com. IDS has established special dealer pricing for Preferred Position Ads that are 500% lower than their current cost with online auto sites. Additionally, auto dealers were shown IDS proprietary backend administration section which dealers may use to change their car ads in real time at no additional costs. This service is currently not available under their current contracts and will save them significant man-hours normally associated with customer calls for cars that are no longer available.

IDS executives are flying to Dubai in the UAE this weekend to finalize a the company expansion in that country and open the corporate offices. This is a continuing function of IDS business plan to expand HLS operations around the world. Additionally, IDS software engineers will fly to London on Monday to complete the interface work for loading the 70,000 resorts and hotels to the new data center.

Going back to the question of that award given to the CTO, if you check it out there is a last name. Cannot make it out but it looks like "RABRANT". Maybe that is why the confusion at IEEE Region 10.

Dud,
Just because they addressed that particular problem should not be a negative factor. It seems that it was having a deleterious effect.
