Natural Gas is being mentioned on CNBC, and it's up 20+ cents. AMEP is not jumping because of hype or speculation, it is jumping because everyone is realizing the position is country is in with Natural Gas and october brings back colder memories to this Chicagoan than September, and our first cold spell is just around the corner. Oil and Natural Gas will continue to rise due to limiting supplies, and ability to refine or transport those supplies, while demand should peak for the year about two-three months from now.
Combine that with what AMEP produces, the quantity that it produces, and it becomes immediately appearant that it has long legs under it. IMO.
Please don't waste pages unless you have something positive to add, or news to post. Every newbie should save posts for questions or news, not asking how high this one will go without doing their own due diligence. that is just lazy, and money doesn't work for the lazy.

Hurricane Katrina swept the Gulf of Mexico and hit shore near New Orleans on Aug. 29. Rita followed Sept. 24, hitting the Texas coast west of Katrina's landfall. The two storms temporarily closed all Gulf oil operations and most natural gas operations, according to the U.S. Minerals Management Service.
Only 2% of Gulf oil production had resumed by the weekend, MMS reported, and 21% of natural gas production. The Gulf supplies 29% of U.S.-produced oil and 19% of U.S.-sourced natural gas.
The nationwide average for unleaded regular gasoline is $2.92, AAA said Sunday. That's up about 30 cents from before Katrina hit.
Gasoline supplies are being supplemented by increased shipments from overseas. But natural gas, the heating fuel for most Americans, can't easily be shipped. Industry and government forecasts say that tight gas supplies could result in heating bills nearly doubling.
Keeping prices down "could be challenging if we get exceptionally cold weather," warns Paula Reynolds, CEO of big gas supplier AGL Resources. That could use up the cheaper gas that utilities have in storage and require them to replace it with today's high-price natural gas, passing the increase to users.
The government conservation plan will ask Americans to turn off lights, change thermostat settings, drive slower, insulate homes and take other steps.

this red day could just be our weekly red day. but being conservative here is a perfect example of what has happened.
the dips become smaller the rsi becomes more overbought, but when it dips back down, you can see that it creates higher lows, so even if this was a major dip, imo the rsi wouldnt dip lower then the last one

Another strong finish! I got in at .066 right when everyone was dumping. finished at .086
WSJ last week and USA Today, today both agree that oil will continue to go up in the 4th quarter. Go Amep!

MINERAL WELLS, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 11, 2005--American Energy Production Inc. (OTCBB: AMEP - News) Due to the enormous amount of share holder interest, AMEP announced today a progress report on the Ideco drilling rig purchased by Investee AMEP Strategic Investments Inc. ADVERTISEMENT
Charles Bitters, President of American Energy Production Inc., said, "The refurbishing of the Ideco oil drilling rig is going very well. All of the mud pump engines have been started and have great oil pressure. They are all running very smoothly. The draw works engines will be started today. The company is very happy with these results, because any engine problems would set back the drilling of the first well. Pressure washing and new paint on the rig is almost complete. If the draw works engines run properly, later in the week the derrick will be raised and pictures of the drilling rig will be posted on the websites of AMEP and Oil America Group."
The drilling rig work over should be completed and the rig operational in the next ten days. At that time the Company will move the drilling rig to Bend Arch Petroleum Inc., 12 well property, and drill a 3,100 foot developmental well. This well will have four to five potential natural gas formations that could produce 300,000 to 500,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day, however there are no guarantees the well will be commercial. The company will drill this relatively shallow well before it attempts to drill a horizontal Barnett Shale natural gas well to test all the rig systems and work out any issues that may occur on the drilling rig before attempting a maximum depth effort.

now we just need word of drilling beginning and this stock will continue to steadily rise.. perhaps faster with a PR about the drill in use etc..
