What am I thinking?
My, oh my, what a dangerous question! I have a million and one thoughts, most of which I cannot share lest I cause you boys to blush.
Here is a thought. I would like each of you boys to swallow a watermelon, whole, then pass it, whole, so you boys will truly, so truly understand what "labor day" means to a woman, specifically, a mother.

Thinking of having a baby, my girl, reminds me of being arrested by military police out in Twentynine Palms, near a marine base and close to Bumscrew, Egypt. Bunch of us girls, and some boys, were tossed in jail very late on a wild night, out there, while on a fieldtrip.
I was younger than my daughter is today, and she is just barely out of her teens.
OH GOSH! What am I thinking! I cannot tell that story! Heavens NO!

Swimming, reminds me of skinny dipping with friends at the Mission Inn, at night, after some heavy drinking in the Glenwood Tavern, down in the basement of the Inn.
After being chased around, but not caught, by rent-a-cops, we hit an apartment complex pool about two in the morning.
Damn apartment manager showed up with a gun.
Some of us took off running, others, well, the cops show up,
"You got a lotta 'splaining to do, Lucy!"
My friends were released but the apartment manager was arrested for brain-ishing a firearm, but later released.
Ever have to sneak several miles through a city, nude, at three in morning, to get home?
No, I didn't have my house key with me.
Ain't ya glad ya asked what people are thinking?

If anyone cares what I am doing...
Juvey starting 12:00am Monday morning on flatbush in brooklyn NY....... Then the Labor day function starting at 8am on eastern parkway in flatbush NY ending at 8pm which means I will get no sleep at all the whole day starting Sunday... Then I have to wake up early Monday to watch IBCS do it's thing thing on up coming news.

Flatbush ave.; avenue of the dollar vans and double parked cars. I used to live in Kings county momo; glad to be out of that area though because no matter how carefull you are with your car it's gonna get scratched and dinged....

Purl: we used to hit motel/hotel swim pools; once an old wise, wizened black porter was sent to investigate. He did, most courteously. As we were leaving, my "Rok n Roll Forever" towel draped across my shoulders, I asked him how he knew...
"Most folk that go swimming here have hotel towels."
He grinned...so did I.
Watermelons? Feed a gremlin after midnight--you'll know how *we* feel, nine months after planting the watermelon seed! First child? couldn't be there...military C-section, verboten. 2nd and 3rd? ALL the way, baby! Wouldn't trade that for ANYTHING...
