cnes is a great swing trade stock. if you pull a chart on it over the last year you will see it bottom at .002 and run up to .0045... with some even higher runs... and it does this every 2 or 3 weeks..
so it tanked yesterday and now its doing its cycle...
1k turns into 2k on one of these cycles.. and you can ride it till news... and news is coming sometime.
Posted by <cruz> on :
volume has more than doubled today. there must be some news coming shortly.
Posted by George on :

on, the first fcc approval it poped to .01 from .001/002 about 5x then it leveled off at around .003/004 the first run lasted about 11 days...go to stockcharts dot com and pull the chart...
this time it should pop for 1 to 2 weeks and rise to about .02... then it should fall back to around .01 or .009
Posted by blueranger on :
so i am going to do the thing i always do.. sell on news on top....and then buy back in when it finds its new level...if I am lucky i will double my shares...
i like knowing a stock real well...

News has not even been reported yet, was up 32% and is slowly coming down now.
Posted by Mr_Pink on :
Is there any news expected to come out anytime soon?
Posted by George on :
The news is out just not over the wire yet.
Posted by Mr_Pink on :
Where do you find the news? When should it hit the wire?
Posted by George on :
This is the FCC news that everyone is waiting on. It was posted to the FCC web site last night that CNES has approval but CNES has not come out with a PR yet.
Posted by Mr_Pink on :
I didn't realize that was the news you were talking about.I saw the post last night about the FCC aproval, I made sure to jump in to the CNES pool bright and early this AM...

I just wonder what they waiting for

Posted by tntrader on :
Well, I think they'll hit us with a few prs back to back.
Announcing the approval, then announcing some contracts..
To the moon!!!
Posted by Nicholas on :
Damnit Damnit Damnit!!!
I'm waiting on some cash to settle to get in on this and the wait is killin me
Posted by Nicholas on :
How long til they announce do you think?
Posted by rishid on :
I am thinking, they know people know about it, so letting the stop go up, then close high for the day.
May then PR tomorrow and have stock climb even higher tomorrow?
Posted by Mr_Pink on :
Can a stock that has such a HUGE volume of shares (2 billion+) really be successful? It seems like the volume for CNES is so big, that it would be difficult for it to move up. I'n still pretty new to trading, I'm just curious to see what others think.
Posted by George on :
I do not think they have 2 billion shares out
Posted by George on :
its like 1.9
Posted by Mr_Pink on :
I didn't mean that they have that many out, just that they have that many available, at least that's what I thought I saw on the last 10Q.
Posted by Raptorsrule on :
Shares not withstanding...the chart suggests we go up tomorrow.

tomorrow another big day for cnes.. last run was 10 days of white candle sticks.

News for 'CNES' - (ConectiSys Receives FCC Certification of Its H-Net-TM- BaseStation Product)
VALENCIA, Calif., Mar 09, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- ConectiSys Corporation (OTCBB: CNES), a developer of automatic meter reading technologies, announced today that the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has certified its single channel H-Net(TM) BaseStation product--it's H-Net(TM)C1Base--for commercialization and sale. The Company's H-Net(TM)C1Base is designed to communicate with up to 1,000 H-Net(TM)-MeterSystems per network.
Upward Momentum
The Company believes that gaining FCC approval of its H-Net(TM)5.0 wireless meter reading system in December 2004 was an important step forward. With FCC approval of the Company's single channel H-Net(TM) BaseStation product, the Company believes that it is now positioned for market entry.
Robert Spigno, the Company's President and Chief Executive Officer, stated, "Achieving FCC approval of a wireless product in today's market is itself unremarkable. However, we believe that the combined FCC approvals of both of our wireless meter reading products have resulted in the ability to establish a new, propriety wireless commercial telecommunications meter reading network on a free public band that is ready for commercialization, deployment and sale in the United States, Canada and South America. We believe that this is a remarkable development for ConectiSys and for the wireless meter reading industry."
In Further News
In parallel with the Company's current single channel H-Net(TM) BaseStation product, the Company has been developing an eight channel H-Net(TM) BaseStation product--it's H-Net(TM)C8Base. The Company's new H-Net(TM)C8Base is designed to communicate with up to 10,000 H-Net(TM)-MeterSystems per network due to its multiple channel design and to deliver real-time energy consumption data at low-cost. The Company has verified initial functionality and has undertaken destructive testing of its H-Net(TM)C8Base hardware with several units in inventory that are awaiting new software for additional field testing. The Company anticipates submitting its new eight channel H-Net(TM) BaseStation product for FCC approval in April 2005. It should be noted that this product enhancement will not prevent sales of our current wireless product lines.

Posted by Lucy Lastic on :
yikes. thanks glassman.
Posted by Lucy Lastic on :
think it'll bounce back at all, or do we make like rats escaping from a sinking ship?!... (oh the shame..)
Posted by glassman on :
yes i think it'll trade up...i din't work out a supply/demand flow chart on it, or anything...it's just that there are a lot of shares...
GMH was right about the buy on rumor sell on news...
Posted by jagman925 on :
CNES may be getting ready to break out. Stocks usually go down after anticipated news (buy on rumor sell on the news).
All that's really needed is some back up information to the positive side for orders of the product or some other PR from CNES.
They've been very limited in the PR they produce which gives them credibility. So just be patient.
This one will have legs soon.
Posted by RamRock on :
looking good for tomorrow i think...
Posted by jagman925 on :
It may be a few days. Might break on no news at all.
Yesterday's 1% sell off of the S&P's means there's some extra cash out there.
If some of those new investors could come to know CNES and its potential...well, you get it.
Penny's are a little scary for some people. It's hard to beat the MM's (Market Makers).
Posted by glassman on :
it's not the MM's
Posted by gmh37 on :
Its going DOWN more this morning
gmh37
Posted by rishid on :
It is going to bottom at like .02 before it stops I think. Then we should see steady gains through April with some contracts hopefully.
Posted by jagman925 on :
Lot's of people are holding this stock. It might get into the high .002's. There will be a lot of accumulation again in the coming days and weeks and it will move up again.
It may even break above .005. It's run on no news at all before, but if they can give us some news and confidence about their future operations it will fly.
