CER Certified Organics Limited (nzx.com)

This biotech company has developed a range of organic weed killers and natural products. Its' core product is called "Organic Interceptor" - a pine based clean green, all natural weed killer. At present it sells this product as well as a mold and moss killer in Australia and New Zealand, it is also in the process of acquiring regulatory approval to market its' products in America, Japan, and Europe.
They also have sold an amount of "Eradicator" a product that destroys the seeds of a superweed called 'Broomrape' to the Australian Government for large scale field trials. The only other way to kill this weed is by using methyl bromide; an ozone depletor - so if the field trials are successfull then the company could benefit quite a bit as broomrape is a pest in many countries.

Other important information to note is that their full year result for the 2004 year will be released soon -- judging from when they released the previous years' report.

The companys' website is: http://www.certified-organics.com

Disclosure: The writer does hold some shares in this company. Also remember that CER shares are low priced which will exacerbate the effect of small movements in price; and the company appears to be in the early stages of the business life cycle so there is a degree of risk present.

haven't looked at the company yet, BUT, nature does produce the BEST pest controls all by herself....
ever notice how you don't have to mow under a pine tree?

or how tornadoes always seem to hit trailer parks?
