Watch SVSE.. its currently on a downtrend being oversold.. watch for it to bounce back when its RSI hits around 20 if not sooner...

Posted by newbravado on :

SVSE broke its upward trend. But since nothing has changed, Pipeline still coming on-line, and Alberta wells in testing, whats to worry? Holding long term.

Posted by cruz on :

it formed a dragonfly doji on friday. definitely watch this on monday.

Posted by cruz on :

I don't consider it oversold until it goes below 30. you are right that it's on the downtrend. wouldn't the dragonfly doji on friday indicate a likely reversal? if it does hit RSI 20 - that should be the resistance at around 0.85 - 0.90. I got to look into this more. it is an energy company and supposedly we are going to have an ebergy crisis. what do you think?

yeah it looks like a Dragonfly Doji... when i posted the thread it was before the close of the market i think.. anyways look for confirmation on Monday morning before entering a position.. but yes Dragonfly doji are reversal candle patterns.. last time a dragonfly formed the stock did a very nice uptrend... was around the middle of December i believe... but if it continues its downtrend and doesnt reverse on monday morning then keep a eye on it carefully as it nears RSI 20...

Posted by Machiavelli on :

Dont know who else is monitoring this one but its heading towards RSI 20... watch carefully... :-)

Posted by HitMe101 on :

What's the current rsi on this? Thanks.

Posted by cruz on :

RSI(14) 32.6 and going down. I would expect it to hit .85 - .90 for support.

Posted by HitMe101 on :

Thanks,i'll keep an eye on it.

Posted by Machiavelli on :

Once it hits RSI 20 it will be cheap enough to buy ... and should hook up.... might even hook up at RSI 25....

Posted by glassman on :

the RSI is as low as its been in 6 months...

too bad i bought on the first doji and now its down even more... gimmie a 'B'ounce

i'm not that good at reading geologist reports for oil wells...just how many barrels are comin' out.. [Big Grin]

Posted by cruz on :

a down day for svse - likely due to the overall market down and three day weekend coming up. like glass says - it will turn. i would wait to buy until next week IMO. i don't think there is going to be a whole lot of buying of anything tomorrow IMO.

Posted by Machiavelli on :

there goes the hookup... today... but look for confirmation on monday to be sure.. it might go down on monday then pull back to a uptrend..

Posted by cruz on :

yes indeed... interesting. you mean tuesday? shoot - i will be out of town Tuesday with no access.

Posted by Machiavelli on :

better get access somewhere and keep a eye on it lol ... but remember wait for confirmation that it will continue up...

Posted by Machiavelli on :

heading to RSI 20... thats why i said never buy on a candlestick pattern till the next candle confirms it...

Posted by HitMe101 on :

Opinions as of late?RSI 31 sale price of .94?

Posted by HitMe101 on :

Now...RSI 25.4 Price .088

This Week's Feature:
Going With What Works: Another Energy Stock With Solid Insider Buying
By Michael Brush
ADVERTISEMENT

Small-cap energy companies whose insiders are snapping up shares have been an excellent place to pick up phenomenal returns. Since it usually pays to go with what's working, let's take a look at another one that looks like a buy because of recent insider activity: Tri-Valley.

Before we get to the details on this stock, which I think could triple or more in a year or two, let's take on the skeptics who might make the following challenge. "Yes, energy stocks where insiders are buying have done well, but they've only gone up because energy overall has been a top performing sector this year."

They are right about the first part. But they're wrong on the second, because small energy companies where insiders are buying have done way better than most other energy stocks. For some evidence, let's look at the four energy stocks in my Jan. 14 Insider's Corner column. (For Insider's Corner headlines, click here: http://*****************/insiderscorner/.)

Two of those stocks, Goodrich Petroleum and Infinity, are up an impressive 54% in the five weeks since that column ran. Another, PetroQuest Energy is up 43%. Even the worst performing stock from that column, Chesapeake Energy, has gained 22%.

In other words, all of them have simply trounced the iShares S&P Global Energy Sector exchange traded fund (ICX), which advanced 14% in the same time frame.

Another great example: Parker Drilling, the very first stock I introduced in Insider's Corner last Nov. 30. In the three months since then, it's up 27%, compared to gains of just 7.9% for the iShares S&P Global Energy Sector exchange traded fund in the same time frame.

Now here's a closer look at Tri-Valley, another one that should outpace the energy sector overall.

Tri-Valley

Tri-Valley is a Bakersfield, California-based energy company with lots of moving parts, including a minerals division that will get spun out to shareholders at some point soon. But let's just focus on what looks like the most interesting piece: the company's natural gas fields in and around Bakersfield.

Here's the bottom line: A report last summer by Charles Strain and Associates, a reputable energy sector analyst, put the net asset value (NAV) of Tri-Valley's Bakersfield projects at $47.46 per share. The stock recently traded at around $13.

NAV is derived by discounting back the value of future production, to understand what the projects are worth in the present. The Charles Strain report uses conservative assumptions, including a $25 per barrel price of oil. Oil recently traded for twice that amount. Sure, mistakes and surprises can happen along the way. But basically it looks like Tri-Valley is still trading way below where it should be, despite the recent breakout from the $10 trading range for the stock.

The Charles Strain report looks at what Tri-Valley might produce going down to depths of 12,000 feet in the Bakersfield area. But Tri-Valley says reserves actually reach down as far as 45,000 feet, and it may be possible to produce well into those depths. This isn't clear, because structures are different in California than anywhere else where production has occurred so deep. "So this is pioneering effort," says chief executive F. Lynn Blystone. "But if we are successful, we will in effect open up the third century of the oil business in California."

Recent insider activity suggests the valuation work by Charles Strain is on target and the stock will be moving higher. A Tri-Valley director purchased $208,000 worth of stock for $8.40 in early January, according to Thomson Financial.

Directors also exercised 570,000 shares in options, at prices of 50 cents to $2.43 since early December. But more importantly, they did not sell the shares. What does this mean? It suggests they see much bigger gains ahead for the stock, and they wanted to realize the tax effect of exercising options now, before the stock gains play out. In short, it's a bullish sign.

Bottom line: I already own shares, but I'd buy more right now and hold for a triple in a year or two.

At the time of publication, Michael Brush owned shares of Tri-Valley.

Avalon Gold Corporation (OTC BB:AVGC.OB - News) has an undivided 85% working interest in a giant gas field lease in the prolific natural gas producing Uinta Basin, located in the US Rockies, Utah. The lease comprises 13,189 acres with a potential 4 TCF recoverable gas and is overpressured by a 0.55 - 0.85 gradient. Avalon states that its Uinta Basin Prospect has the potential of being a Giant Gas Field similar to the Drunkards Wash Field and the Jonah Field, both recognized gas fields. The Drunkards Wash Field, just south of Avalon's prospect area, is estimated to be between 2-4 TCF of recoverable gas. The Jonah Field Overpressured Gas Plain, which is analogous to the Company's prospect area, has similar overpressuring, depth, reservoir rocks and is estimated to be 2.5+ TCF. http://www.avalongold.ws/

Heartland Oil & Gas Corp (OTC BB:HOGC.OB - News) Heartland is developing approximately 915,000 acres of coal bed methane lands in the Forest City Basin (FCB) in the state of Kansas, USA. I will radar it. Why the drop last week, was it the Financials released on Thu Feb 24?

MM's probably shorting it.. sooner or later (more likely sooner) the stock will uptrend and they will have to cover their shorts... then everyone else will jump back on it as well... but rarely do stocks go under RSI 20...

Everybody seems worried on this drop in price,i`ve had shares for ten months and still feel comfortable that this is one to reach 45.00to 50.00 within this year at end.Thereare too many positives going for it, gas pipelinew, oil punping to the tune of 1.5 million to 2 million a year positive cash flow with many more drill sites to drill at least 2 million positive cash flow. Focus and add the total pluses!

Im not worried at all.. I guess you do not know what RSI means.. and anyways im a trader not a investor... if this stock ever reaches $50 per share it wont be for years(more then one year)... us who are traders are keeping a eye on the RSI for the stock to hit a certain point and go on a uptrend.. we could care less if it reaches $40 per share because we are not in trades for the long term... we make short term trades for profits... get out and look for a new stock... by the way for those who know how to read a candlestick chart.. its now a Hammer pattern as of 11:53 EST.. to confirm this is the uptrend we were waiting for .. would need to see the next candle tomorrow to see if its a white one... Initial Oil Production at Joarcam "13-27" Oil Well to Exceed 75 Barrels per Day
Monday February 28, 9:00 am ET

LOS ANGELES, CA--(MARKET WIRE)--Feb 28, 2005 -- Silver Star Energy, Inc. (OTC BB:SVSE.OB - News) today announces that initial testing at the "13-27" oil well has shown that the production rates should exceed the original estimates of 75 barrels per day. The "13-27" will be on pump to establish the Initial Production Rates (I.P.R.) of the well.

As the "13-27" well location directly offset another well that initially produced oil at rates of approximately 75 barrels per day, Silver Star and the operator made a comparison between the logs of the two wells and had determined that the 5.2 metre (17.1) interval at the "13-27" well appeared to be a cleaner sand and thus may be more productive than the offsetting "16-28" well.

Third-party analysis of the swab report indicates that "the well will begin pumping at a rate exceeding 75 barrels oil per day."

A pump-jack is immediately being delivered and will be set up at the well-head. Silver Star anticipates the onset of commercial production of oil at the "13-27" well to be a matter of days. With near-record prices for crude oil, Silver Star has projected that the well should generate $112,000 per month in revenue, or $1.3 million per year, and will payout its entire cost in 6 months. The long-life reserves in the Viking allow wells to be in commercial production for 20 years.

Currently, the 38-degree API light oil at Joarcam has been priced at over $51.00 per barrel ($64.00 CDN). The prospect lands are located about 25 miles southeast of Edmonton, Alberta, and there is year-round access to the property.

The Opening Bell By Bill Panetta

Probably the hardest part of the trading day for most new and basically any trader is going to be the first 15 minutes of the trading day.

There are lot emotions that run high during this period. For me personally I have always tried to find ways to try and keep my emotions from getting out of control so I don’t make bad trades. Especially in the first 15 minutes of the day.

Through trail & error over the years I have come up with some strategies that work for me.

THE 10-MINUTE HEAD FAKE ON THE OPEN: I am starting to see this more and more now. This Market Maker Tactic (IMHO) is to shake out a lot of weak longs especially in a hot stock.

I will give you to 2 great examples of this trick.

AGIS: yesterday (11-07-2003) first thing MM”s did is they gapped it down, that was there first scare tactic. Now what we are going to focus on is the opening price for agis.

The opening price was .271 first print of the day. Remember stay focused on the opening print .271. Here comes the 10-minute head fake. The stock makes a low @ .20 in the first 10 minutes of day. I am watching this all happen on my level 2 screen BTW. AGIS makes a bottom at @. 20 now here is what I am looking for on a reversal. As soon as I saw the reversal happening I started buying in @ 23-24 and picked up 10k shares for this trade. Remember pay attention to the opening price of .271. That is my guide through this whole process.

Once AGIS traded through the opening price of .271 the stock exploded and within basically 1 hour of the trade it traded as high as .75 cents. I had personally had gotten out .70 and I was done for the day. This trade will last usually 1 hour.

What are the key points? Stock makes a bottom in first 10 min. then comes back and trades through and closes above .271 the opening price within about 5-10 minutes after it making the bottom at .20. My stop loss is .20 if breaks .20 I am out for a small loss. My risk was $400.00 but my reward was over $4500.00.

Another point I will make is I will only make this type of a trade in a hot stock that has a lot of volume. A lot of liquidity.

Another point is it that the stock has to be above the 5 & 10 day moving average for this kind of trade. It has to be in full motion.

FNIX: (11-03-03) Another great trade. The 10-minute head fake was on this stock as well. Opening price .93 within 10 minutes makes a bottom @ .83 I buy 10K shares @ .86 again are main focus is the opening print of .93. The stock explodes through .93 the opening price and hits a high of 1.19 within 1 hour of hitting a bottom. The MM”s can kiss my butt. Money in the bank. More head fakes please. You need to use level 2 for this type of trading, if you don’t have it get it. Risk 300.00 Reward 3,000.00

After looking at the pro`s and cons, its surelyhas to look very promising with an eighty million dollar company plus, being able to profit 1 1/2 million a year from every well in drops in the vacinity of the first one. If you want to figure the simple math, one well every two months and paid for in just six months! How sweet can it be? It might look like a Texas playground of oil dericks!

Posted by HitMe101 on :

Never really thought of that JTex.I could've got out a few times this week,I mainly trade daily but this one seems to have long term effect on me.Any Prejections?I'm thinkin with the wells producing this year, more goin in & oil prices up, this should easily double within a year.My thoughts....

Silver Star Receives Final North Franklin Gas Pipeline Permit -- Tie-In Construction Can Now Commence
LOS ANGELES, CA - MARKET WIRE - 03/07/05
Silver Star Energy, Inc. (OTC BB: SVSE) is pleased to report that the operator of the North Franklin Project has informed the Company that the final government permit allowing for the completion of construction of the North Franklin gas pipeline has been received from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The permit covers the easement over the final 177' of the gas pipeline.

The Company has also been informed that the final construction of the short tie-in of the pipeline will now commence with a crew to implement the underground boring operation now being organized for the job. Silver Star anticipates the tie-in to be completed shortly, following which gas production will occur from the "Archer-Whitney #1" well. The progress of the tie-in will be updated as events unfold.

Silver Star has previously announced that a contract is in place with a natural gas purchaser. When final connection and tie-in is completed, the well will be evaluated as to I.P.R.s (Initial Production Rates). Silver Star is optimistic that gas flow rates will be similar to area analog gas fields and that 5,000 mcf/day is a realistic target.

The March 4th gas price based on PG&E-Citygate pricing is $6.47/mcf.

Looks like its recovering... but anyways other then that... J Tex.. dont ever fall in love with a stock.... thats the # 1 rule in trading.. dont ever think a stock wont go down the "pike" further because it can.. i have made the same mistake in the past with that thinking... always limit your losses and protect your profits.. im not saying do that with this stock because to me this one is a good one like i predicted.. but just in general with all stocks... always have stop/losses...

In such case would you guys be holding your positions or selling it now and taking a loss and then buying again at later point.

I would say try to bring your average down if you can.Long term...well I hope i'm right, but .94 will be the price everyone wished they would've bought at.With all the positive things going for the Co. this could be back @ the 1.75-2.00 range EOY.I bought in @ .90 & .80 for an average of .85 i'm not worried cuz I know this is just the MM collecting shares & pushing people to sell.If we all held this would probably be at least $1.25 or so right now.

North Franklin Pipeline Tie-In Finished -- Gas Production From "Archer-Whitney #1" Well Can Now Begin
Friday March 18, 9:00 am ET

LOS ANGELES, CA--(MARKET WIRE)--Mar 18, 2005 -- Silver Star Energy, Inc. (OTC BB:SVSE.OB - News) is pleased to report that the pipeline at the North Franklin Project has been finished. The "Archer-Whitney #1" gas well has now been tied-in and will be put online.

A gas sales contract is in place with a natural gas purchaser. Once official production begins, the gas well will be evaluated as to I.P.R.s (Initial Production Rates). Flow rates will now be established by the performance of the well and response of the reservoir. The Company has always expected excellent deliverability from the well and is optimistic that ultimately, gas flow rates will be similar to area analog gas fields and that 5,000 mcf/day is a realistic flow rate target.

Robert McIntosh, President of Silver Star stated, "The completion of the pipeline at North Franklin is a milestone for the Company. After undergoing lengthy delays, the 'Archer-Whitney #1' well can now be put online at a time when energy prices are soaring due to increased demand. Now, Silver Star can focus on the development of the gas field in the upcoming months by drilling more wells and increasing cash flow to the company."

Today's gas price based on PG&E-Citygate pricing is $7.09 mcf.

North Franklin Gas Production From "Archer-Whitney #1" Well Begins
Tuesday March 22, 9:00 am ET

LOS ANGELES, CA--(MARKET WIRE)--Mar 22, 2005 -- Silver Star Energy, Inc. (OTC BB:SVSE.OB - News) is pleased to report that natural gas production has begun from the "Archer-Whitney #1" gas well. The operator of the North Franklin Project informed the Company that the well was put on production and began flowing gas into the gas buyers system. A gas sales contract is in place with a natural gas purchaser and Silver Star will begin to receive revenue as of today's date.

The operator of the project has choked down and metered the flow at an initial rate of 2.0MMcf and will be increasing the flow in small increments until the pressures from the reservoir stabilize at an acceptable rate that will not damage the casing or productive sand layer. It is critical for the field health to inhibit a simple open flow and to choke down pressures to prevent gas reservoir "coning" and drawing water into the sands by the outgoing gas.

The Company will endeavor to release further gas flow rates from the well as soon as numbers become available. The gas well will now be evaluated as to I.P.R.s (Initial Production Rates) and flow rates will be established as to the performance of the well and response of the reservoir.

The Company has always expected excellent deliverability from the well and is optimistic that ultimately, gas flow rates will be similar to area analog gas fields and that 5,000 mcf/day is a realistic flow rate target. The production rate will now be evaluated and assessed by the Company, partners and operator as to optimal numbers for the well and reservoir.

Robert McIntosh, President of Silver Star, stated, "The inaugural production at North Franklin is a tremendous accomplishment for the Company. Now that the well is finally online it comes at a time when gas prices continue to rise due to high demand and Silver Star is positioned to take advantage of these natural gas prices. The Company has plans for drilling 5 more wells on the leases and the second well is scheduled to begin drilling immediately on the lease when the conditions allow us to mobilize drilling equipment."

Monday's gas price based on PG&E-Citygate pricing is $7.19 mcf.

The company's Alberta oil projects have estimated probable oil reserves of more than 4.5 million barrels and gas reserves of 4.0 Bcf.

"Commercial oil production began at Joarcam in Alberta on March 1st and natural gas in California on March 22 at the North Franklin Gas Field. Silver Star is now a cash flow positive company," said Ernest C. Schlotter, oil and natural gas analyst with SISM Research.

March Production at Joarcam 13-27 Well Totals 1414 Barrels Oil -- Initial Production Averages 49 Barrels per Day
Monday April 4, 9:00 am ET

LOS ANGELES, CA--(MARKET WIRE)--Apr 4, 2005 -- Silver Star Energy, Inc. (OTC BB:SVSE.OB - News) today announces the March production for the 13-27 well at Joarcam, Alberta. The well commenced commercial oil production on March 1, 2005, and the Company has received production results for the first 29 days. Total oil produced and shipped for sale was 1414 barrels with an average daily production rate of 49 barrels per day.

The swab test analysis of the well during the completion phase indicated that the production rate should exceed the original estimate of 75 barrels per day. The I.P.R.s (Initial Production rates) are being evaluated and production has, over many days in the month, exceeded a rate of 60 barrels per day. The Company and operator are analyzing the results and will determine whether a larger down-hole pump may be required to increase the flow rates of the well. Total fluid measured during the testing period indicates the well should perform better. However, during this current period of Government imposed road bans, equipment to perform this operation cannot be moved to the well site until spring breakup is complete.

The 13-27 well is the first of a multi-well program drilled at Joarcam by Silver Star. The 2005 development program calls for the drilling of a minimum of 10 wells to develop the field. The Company has previously announced that the 5-22 well is ready to drill as soon as conditions allow following spring breakup in Alberta. When fully developed, the 10 wells should give a daily production rate at Joarcam of 500 barrels per day.

Robert McIntosh, President, states, "The first full month production at Joarcam is what we believe to be the start of a lengthy and profitable operation." On March 31st, statements were made by influential investment bank Goldman Sachs in a research report. The analyst predicted that oil prices could touch $105 a barrel in the next few years and that the world energy market is in the early stages of a "super-spike" period that could see 1970s-style price surges. This forecast was quoted as "conservative" from Goldman Sachs and staggered the oil markets. Mr. McIntosh further stated, "As Joarcam is developed, the oil reserves will become a core asset to the Company's future cash flow."

Using current "West Edmonton Light" pricing for Joarcam light crude oil, Silver Star has now projected that the well has generated $80,600 in revenue or $967,000 per year and will payout its entire cost in 7 months. The long-life reserves in the Viking allow wells to be in commercial production for 20 years. Currently, the 38-degree API light oil at Joarcam has been priced at over $57.00 per barrel ($67.00 CDN). The prospect lands are located about 25 miles southeast of Edmonton, Alberta and there is year-round access to the property.

Exciting News!!!

NEW YORK, LOS ANGELES & ZURICH, Switzerland, Apr 14, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) --

(Investrend Research Syndicate) Ernest C. Schlotter, oil and gas analyst with Investrend Research Affiliate SISM Research has initiated coverage of Silver Star Energy, Inc. (OTCBB: SVSE) with a Speculative Buy/4 rating and a 12-month price target of $1.50.

The full report is available at http://www.investrendresearch.com

Silver Star Energy, Inc., based in Los Angeles, has targeted low to medium risk ventures of natural gas properties in California and oil and gas properties in Alberta, Canada that have the potential for short-term returns as well as longer reserve lives. Through a series of strategic acquisitions via its key alliance partnerships, Silver Star Energy, Inc. has positioned itself for rapid organic growth.

"SVSE has only recently left the exploration stage and entered the production phase," said Ernest Schlotter, and added: "Our positive investment rating is based on Silver Star's exceptional near-term growth profile and its development and exploitation prospects. Our $1.50 price target is based on a 5.0x multiple to our 2006E EBITDAX estimate." The Company is already in a "new well site preparation" phase at its North Franklin property in California, and if successful, production from this well could be expected during the current quarter. Silver Star has financially secured its expenditure budget and, in addition, the Company will reinvest cash flow from operations. Schlotter also stated: "Increased drilling activities will lead to rapid growth in the Company's production volume, earnings per share, and cash flow and will ameliorate Silver Star's underlying net asset value growth."

LOS ANGELES, CA--(MARKET WIRE)--Apr 22, 2005 -- Silver Star Energy, Inc. (OTC BB:SVSE.OB - News) today announces that the Company has received a timeframe for the spud of the Archer-Wildlands #1 well. The drilling will commence in early May and the Company anticipates the well to be completed before May 15th. This will be the second in a series of wells to be drilled in 2005 in the development plan for the North Franklin gas reservoir. As earlier reported, Silver Star has advanced funds in full to the operator for the Company's 40% working interest cost of the well to completion. The "Archer-Wildlands #1" well is licensed, permitted and the well site preparations are ongoing. A drill contract has been signed and a drilling rig has been secured for the well.

Silver Star will be receiving the gas production totals from the "Archer-Whitney #1" well which went on commercial gas production March 21st. The Company now has been in production for one full month on April 25th and will report figures when received in full from the operator. Just as the Company recently reported its first month's oil production at the Joarcam 13-27 well, similar reporting will shortly be forthcoming from North Franklin.

The Company is committed to the exploration and extensive development of oil and natural gas reserves throughout western North America. Company management is focused on an acquisition program targeting high quality, low risk prospects provided via key strategic alliance partnerships.

Production Increases Now to Begin at "Archer-Whitney #1" -- Gas Flow to Be Increased to 2.5-3.0 Mmcf per Day Up From First Month's Start-Up Rate of 1.4 Mmcf per Day
Monday April 25, 9:00 am ET

LOS ANGELES, CA--(MARKET WIRE)--Apr 25, 2005 -- Silver Star Energy, Inc. (OTC BB:SVSE.OB - News) is very pleased to report on natural gas production at the "Archer-Whitney #1" well from the first 29 days of full production, which began on March 23rd, 2005. At these initial rates, the average daily gross earnings for the well amounted to roughly $11,000.00 per day, or $330,000 in total for all partners. The initial rates averaged 1.4 Mmcf per day. This is the first of six wells planned to be drilled into this reservoir on the leases.
[Big Grin]

The well has now settled and matured to the point that the operator intends to open the choke in the coming weeks to accommodate the high tubing and casing pressures. Silver Star now anticipates that the well should reach 2.5 Mmcf to 3.0 Mmcf in the first week of May, after the operator analyzes the pressures, again before allowing any increase. This would equate to a doubling of gas and revenue to $660,000 per month. This would generate $7.3 million per year revenue at these rates. The Company and partners, over time, have targeted 4-5 Mmcf per day production, and the step up of production is a very positive development. 5.0 Mmcf per day would equate to approximately $12.0 million per year in revenue from the well.

The operator of the project has choked down and metered the flow and would be increasing the gas flow in small increments. The operator's advice to the Company is to be prudently cautious in these early production days and not to be overzealous in rapidly increasing the flow rates. The operator has now indicated that the behind-pipe pressure has been stabilizing, and Silver Star can now report that the plan is to safely open up the flow incrementally at stepped rates. The operator and Company have been cautious with this initial period as the well was put online, working in a slow and methodical fashion to ensure that the reservoir is developed properly. The well will continue to be opened up until the stabilization of bottom-hole pressure.

In addition, the well was shut in during the lengthy delay in tie-in, and the Company and operator wish to ensure that every measure is taken to ensure the integrity of the reservoir so as to protect the Company's asset which is of vital importance to the development of significant cash flow to Silver Star. Pressures have been monitored both at the well and across the length of pipeline to sale point. The overall volume flow of a gas field can be a lengthy process that must be undertaken with caution to avoid damaging the reservoir or well to prevent gas reservoir "coning" and drawing condensate into the sands by the outgoing gas.

The April 22 PG&E-Citygate gas was priced at $6.81 per mcf.

Silver Star Acquires Two More Sections of Joarcam Lands

LOS ANGELES, CA, Apr 27, 2005 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) --

Silver Star Energy, Inc. (OTC BB: SVSE) today is pleased to announce that the Company has increased and doubled its land holdings in the "core" Joarcam Project area. Silver Star has now acquired an additional two sections that are on trend to producing Viking sands, south of the current lease holdings. The two newly acquired full sections, if fully developed, would enable Silver Star the ability of drilling up to 32 additional wells.

The acquisition is from a private Alberta company. The purchase price for the two sections priced at $250,000 for the 70% working interest will be subject to the issuance of the equivalent value in Company common shares for the asset purchase.

The two sections are on trend to the Company's existing production holdings and represent an extension of the Viking sand that is currently in production from the 13-27 well since March 1, 2005. The Company has announced production results for the first 29 days, which was 1,414 barrels with an average daily production rate of 49 barrels per day. April production will be announced when the full month's production figures are received from the operator.

The long-life reserves in the Viking allow wells to be in commercial production for 20 years. Currently, the 38-degree API light oil at Joarcam is priced at $54.97 per barrel ($67.95 CDN). The prospect lands are located about 25 miles southeast of Edmonton, Alberta and there is year-round access to the property.

Silver Star Cancels Financing Agreement With Cornell Capital

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

LOS ANGELES, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 05/24/05 -- Silver Star Energy, Inc. (OTC BB: SVSE)
today announces that the Company has cancelled the financing agreement with
Cornell Capital Partners, LP. Silver Star has received from Cornell one
half of a secured $1.5 million bridge loan totaling $750,000 in December
2004. This loan was provided as part of a convertible debenture that could
be paid back in cash or converted to stock.

Silver Star has informed Cornell of its intention to repay the loan in cash
with interest and penalty as opposed to converting to common shares. This
action will prevent any further dilution to the current issued and
outstanding shares. The cash payback will occur from proceeds of cash flow
from Silver Star's North Franklin and Joarcam projects.

i have run some sample portfolios on companies being "capitalized" by "certain" capital LLC's...

SOME of them seem to invest very heavily in comapanies that just go down in PPS, especially when the financing deal is structured in certain ways..the financing deal SVSE had with this co looked just like a bunch of the others i have seen go down...

somewhere there is a hedge fund.......haven't bothered to try to track it down.....

i usually run from cornell screaming... but this time i took a calulated risk...i may have been right that they would back away from the financing, i hope they can now fit into the pps they deserve

Silver Star Successfully Completes "13-22" Well -- Commercial Production to Begin at 35-50 Barrels per Day

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

LOS ANGELES, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 05/31/05 -- Silver Star Energy, Inc. (OTC BB: SVSE)
today announces that the "13-22" well has been successfully completed and
will be put into immediate production. This is now the second well to be
brought on for commercial oil production at Joarcam by Silver Star.

The completion program involved a 3.0 meter perforation of 2.5 meters (8.2
feet) of the Viking (oil) zone. The oil pay zone was thicker than earlier
thought. The result was an excellent influx of fluid confirming strong
permeability and porosity and that the perforation contacted the oil zone

i bought back into it today... up 10.09% for the day... this one should be interesting with the Government's oil inventory report due on Wednesday... somehow I think SVSE will go up whether the report is good or not.. if the news is bad then most likely oil prices will go up and break $60 because we will rely even more on overseas oil & demand will be high which will rally all the oil stocks domestic and non-domestic.. if the news is good about domestic inventory it would only help domestic oil company prices like SVSE ... tomorrow will be interesting... keep a watchful eye out... tight stop/losses in case it goes bad for us.. if not.. LET IT RIDE!! (like the Richard Dreyfuss movie about horseracing and everything goes right for him in all the races he bets on lol good movie.. rent it u'll like it)...
