I'm looking at this one as more of a long term hold, there seems to be a lot of potential and growth possibilities for this one! Any technical analysis by any of our veverable stock gods is greatly appreciated!

Posted by jballs on :

Anyone else in on this one? Used to be VQPI, till the name change. They just released another promising PR. I'm having a hard time finding any info as to insider holdings and outstanding shares. Anyone out there care to help a brother out?
Thanks

Just got in on this one myself for the long term. Good business plan and good partner. Looks very positive, got in at 1.34 and I expect it to go much higher with patience IMHO.

Posted by jballs on :

Yeah, that is what I think. If this thing takes off nationwide, or worldwide even, it could be HUGE. I know tons of people who are scared of computers and Ebay but would like to sell things online.
The only thing that bothers me is that I can't seem to find any info on the share structure of this company. Even though I view this as a long term investment, I am trying to wait for a good entry point. However, the price seems to be holding steady. I may have to up my limit price a bit if this continues to hold. [Cool]

jballs,

I can find any info on share structure or financials either, but that is how quite a bit of these pink sheet stocks are. The only idea I have is to contact the investor relations department and ask for the information. Maybe they will be kind enough to give it out. I'll post the link in a few.

Company: Orbit Drop, Inc.

OTC Pink Sheet Symbol: OBDP.PK

Shares in the Float: 25,000,000

Current Price: $.97

Website: www.orbitdrop.com

OBDP: The Next Wave of the Ebay Revolution Has Arrived! Authorized Ebay Reseller Drop-Off Stores—eBay CEO Meg Whitman says: “We’re excited about this”

Orbit Drop, Inc. (OTC Pink Sheets Symbol: OBDP), through its authorized eBay (NASD: EBAY) reseller drop-off stores, is “tapping into an untouched market: people who want to sell on eBay but don’t have the time—or don’t want the hassle of photographing their items, listing them online, answering buyers’ questions and shipping what’s sold,” according to the Miami Herald.com on May, 31st, 2004.

Orbit Drop makes using eBay easy for the millions of Americans who aren’t computer-savvy, have a digital camera, or who don’t want to put banking, credit card and other personal information on the internet. And eBay is happy to see the drop-off stores springing up. As eBay spokesman Hani Durzy has stated: “We’re excited about the possibility of these stores being able to bring some people to the eBay marketplace that up until now have not been able to participate in it.”

eBay sold over $24 Billion in goods in 2003!! Durzy said, “22 million items are available on the site at all times” (Courier-Journal.com May 10, ’04). eBay claims to have 41.2 million active users and over 100 million registered users (Forbes.Com, 5/5/04). However, only about 8% are sellers. With Orbit Drop and other authorized eBay drop-off stores, entrepreneurs expect that number to increase dramatically—and with fees ranging from “20-40% of the sale price, that can add up to a lot of money.” (Forbes.com 5/5/04) . With eBay estimating $10 Billion per year in consignment sales from drop-off stores, that could add up to $2-4 Billion in yearly revenues!!

BUSINESS PLAN

Orbit Drop, Inc. has drop-off stores in Dallas and Houston, Texas, and plans to offer franchises around the country. People will drop the items off at the store, and then Orbit Drop will do the research for pricing and description, then take digital photographs, write the ad copy, and set-up the auction process on eBay. When the transaction is complete, OBDP will ship the goods to the highest bidder and then send the check to the seller. Also, the Company plans to increase revenues through the sale of franchises and the subsequent royalties derived from the new stores.

As Bankrate.com states, “These ‘brick-to-click’ storefront drop-off centers are springing up from coast to coast.” (4/19/04). These stores offer a more attractive option than Goodwill, the Salvation Army, and garage/estate sales—there is the potential to make a lot more money on eBay than these alternatives. OBDP will be one of the first publicly-traded companies in this explosive new retailing phenomenon with eBay!!

The authorized eBay drop-off stores have the potential to start a new class of retailing. As the Dallas News.com reported, “The notion of new and repeat customers has eBay Inc. officials embracing the offline growth of its business, even though the company has no plans to open any drop-off stores of its own.” As eBay spokesman Hani Durzy says: “There is an opportunity for anyone to open a store and survive and thrive. People like selling stuff on eBay. Why not help them out?” “With close to 200 drop-off stores in the United States, Mr. Durzy said he expects many more to open.” (Dallas News.com, 4/19/04).

“We’re excited about this,” eBay Chief Executive Meg Whitman said at a Goldman Sachs investor conference in Phoenix. “Clearly they are getting an incremental customer that would have never come to eBay on their own.” EBay estimates that consignment sales through drop-off stores may reach $10 Billion per year—which would yield $700 Million in revenues to eBay. (NashvilleCityPaper.com, 3/10/04.)

- Hassle-free authorized eBay selling experience.

- Access to 100 million registered global eBay buyers.

- Revenue streams from franchise and royalty fees.

- Opportunity to significantly increase the current 8%

- base of eBay sellers, plus adding new and repeat clients.

- Fees of 20-38%. Industry could generate $2-4 billion!

- eBay estimates 10 Billion / year in consignment sales from drop off stores. $700 Million in revenues to eBay.

- Investors have a chance to get in on the ground floor, as
- OBDP is one of the first publicly-traded companies in this hot new national retail phenomenon with eBay!!

Man, every time I buy into a stock lately, it tanks about 5 mins. after my order fills. I am having the worst run ever with my entry points lately. I guess I'm not too worried, I plan on holding this for some time since I think that if it takes off, it could be big. It just really irritates me that I could have gotten in much cheaper! [Mad]

Same thing happened to me, few minutes after I bought in it dropped like a rock! Not too worried though, because this should have great potential for the long term.

OBDP news this morning! Signed lease in Paris - first foothold internationally!

Orbit Drop Signs Lease for the First International Drop-off Store in Paris, France

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 31, 2005--Orbit Drop, Inc. (Pink Sheets:OBDP) has completed the initial step of its plan to develop a strong international market by signing the lease for its first drop-off store located in the exclusive Champs-Elysees area, The Right Bank, Paris, France. The address is 37bis rue de Ponthieu, Paris, France 75008. The 2.6 mile promenade was the traditional site for the aristocracy to parade its wealth; both the businesses and the pedestrians are celebrated by their placement on the most celebrated promenade in the world. This type of location fits perfectly with the appearance and type of store that Orbit Drop wants to bring to its customers in France.

Orbit Drop welcomes Paris, France to our growing family of Company owned on-line marketing drop-off stores. The first step to completing Orbit Drop's plan to open strategic, international stores is securing the first location in Paris, France. The lease has been signed and, after months of due diligence, Orbit Drop plans to open this store in the Champs-Elysees area of Paris, France to take advantage of the extra-wide sidewalks and convenient, familiar surroundings for its customers.

Because eBay is growing throughout Europe at a very fast pace, Orbit Drop plans to develop Corporate stores and, by establishing its presence in Europe, become the leader by teaching the European public how to use on-line marketing as a tool to link both buyers and sellers and create a familiarity and trust with this new marketing tool. By developing Corporate stores in Europe, Orbit Drop will establish a foundation for training franchisees and increase the use of the internet by raising public awareness, trust and knowledge about internet based marketing.

Orbit Drop, Inc. is a principal eBay drop-off service with existing stores in Dallas and Houston. Orbit Drop makes selling on eBay easy and convenient, giving customers the ability to simply drop off their unwanted surplus goods and turn these items into cash.

Success Direct TV is a multi-channel direct marketing agency specializing in eliminating the "middle man" by taking its products directly to the public. The Company has enjoyed financial success and media acclaim in the U.S. and abroad, serving its diverse client base. By offering an ever-expanding range of products and services, Success Direct opens many new markets to Orbit Drop.

Orbit Drop Acquires Auction Gateway.com
Friday February 11, 8:00 am ET

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 11, 2005--Orbit Drop, Inc. (Pink Sheets:OBDP - News) acquires Auction Gateway LP (www.auctiongateway.com).
Auction Gateway has been selling through eBay for over a year and has a positive score of 99.3%. For the year of 2004, Auction Gateway posted revenues of over $210,000 in a single location.

Orbit Drop is excited about acquiring Auction Gateway. This is the first step in our plan to begin acquiring smaller drop-off stores and making them Company-owned stores. This acquisition will be non-dilutive to share holders; further details will be available at a later date.

Orbit Drop considers Auction Gateway to be a valuable acquisition because by using the existing marketing system and advertising network that Orbit Drop has already established, Auction Gateway should increase its revenues. Auction Gateway has never utilized a marketing program and has respectable sales figures but by establishing an advertising/marketing program the sales numbers should increase significantly.

Orbit Drop will commence the first stage of communications with area developers the first part of next week.

To date OBDP has received information requests for 380 area developers (15 stores per area developer) and over 1,000 single store franchise requests representing a potential of 6,700 franchises around the globe.
