I show an average volume of less than twenty thousand per day with no recent changes worthy of note. Where did you find these stats on volume indicating sudden interest?
I read this stock being promoted on a lot of message boards, especially Silicon Investors.
Those messages I read, contain no supporting data nor information with which to work.

Greater China has not filed with the SEC since 1999. Nothing there to read which is current and pertinent for today.
Haven't found anything of recent date through internet searches.
Online brokerages have no fundamental data on this company.
What data do you hold, which you could share, which indicates a press release will be forth coming next week? It would be nice of you to cite or provide some data for readers, which can be verified.
Should we buy this stock based on nothing but posted rumors?
Participants here are well known for their careful research and investigation. You could help us out by providing data to be verified.

Gurl-there will be a press release out in a few days to help with the dd. The data that is current can be fond on pinksheets.com (company info) and knobias.com . Investor relation at jon.ir@greaterchinacorp.com has much info. Unigel.com is the main subsidary located in China-been there 13 years. IR says revenues up 30% from last year and still improving.

The company intends to release unaudited 10q for the last quarter in first part of jan., IR says numbers will be very good. I trust ir person, you can follow your instincts. To be sure I understand, GCHC has advised you a financial statement is forthcoming and has provided you with data from that release, well before this news is to be released to the general public. Is this correct?
Back in December of 2001, GCHC released this statement to the public:
"...management believes it now has the resources to restore its audits and SEC filings and to provide shareholders with regular reports on operations and results. After several years of lacking funds for these corporate services, the Company should now be able to restore its standing as a regularly reporting company, and is attempting to do so with the assistance of its auditors and legal counsel."
Two full years have passed, still no SEC filings since 1999 nor any press releases.

You are absolutely correct in your assesment of the past. That is why I do not use TA etc for my dd, I watch insider trading (no selling in GCHC), dilution (GCHC still has 30M OS), no P&D with GCHC or there would have been tons of pr's and does company have a quality product with revs going higher-GCHC does. I believe-others may soon wish they bought at these levels.

I do not blame you for not wanting facts, SEC filings or just some news. Since trust has been abused by many charlatans I understand you completely. Volume and price moves will follow ANY concrete news-I know that but in the mean time I took the time & expense to fly to hdqtrs and meet with the CEO-it is my right as an investor. I have a right to see the financials. I know 98% of investors do NOT put this type of effort into ANY of their stock investments-they expect, and rightfully so-a 10q or 10k. But in the case of this company there are legit reasons for not filing. I am invested and KNOW this company is real. Time will tell.

Ok, Glassman, I will drop into your under ten cents a share board. I usually do not trade below ten cents a share. Nonetheless, I have four stocks now, all under .10 per.
I am somewhat encouraged. One of those stocks has already cleared me $600 in profit.
I will move CLSI over to your board.
However, first I have to purchase a round trip ticket to Hong Kong or China, somewhere over there, make hotel reservations and all that, so I can talk to the CEO of GCHC as this other person did. This seems a prudent move before investing in this stock. I mean, a trip to China should not consume too much of any profits I might make.

John Allen, CEO of Greater China Corp, said these boards can offer some good information. Too often the little empty barrels make the most noise. He said this company will offer investors a very viable vehicle to invest in China. I believe him and own 100's of thousands of shares based on facts he has supplied. My presumption is you are aware providing misleading information or making false claims about a company or company stock, specifically via email, faxes and internet message boards, can lead to investigation and possible criminal prosecution.

The above posted link to http://www.componoform.com leads to componoform site. Greater China is listed on the site as a Link along with, Enviro-designs, and something called Creative business enterprises (for a fee they will help entrepreneurs start a business, or help investors "invest". The link to Greater China is a dead link (under construction). I contacted Componoform and asked about their affiliation with Greater China. They would only say this: "We license the COMPONOFORM proprietary building system to Greater China Corp. and provide planning and architectural design services for projects in China." There was no mention of any active or projected projets for GCHC using componoform. Greater China does its own "in house" PR and the "Jon" contact mentioned in another post above (probably reffering to Jon Scott--no e-mail address) is now appearantly John Allen (212-765-4547). As of 6/02/03 GCHC had 30,700,000 issued and outstanding. As of 5/02/03 par value was .02. Information on this company is very difficult to find. Share value over the last three years has remained pretty much the same. There is nothing available that gives reason to expect any news or change in the near future. NONE of the above positive posts have come to pass, nor (IMO) are they likely to.

The greaterchinacorp.com web page gives jon.ir@greaterchinacorp.com as the IR person-you must click on "enter" button to open the next window. I contacted both the home office in New York and jon.ir-they confirm that componoform will partner with gchc-the only thing holding up this action is the SEC filings. These filings will be issued near term and the previous 4 years will also be released. The attorny for the company will not allow any news out until the company puts out some form of audits. He states that "this is proper procedure for a company that cares about following the SEC requirements, even though this company is listed on the "pinks". All investors should do their own research but for the few zealous do-gooders who come across as "know-it-alls" or persons trying to "protect" investors by demanding "facts" are complete fools. If really smart investors wait till a company produces "all" the supposed "truth-facts" they will miss the biggest move upward in the share price. Investing $3k or $6k in a solid company like gchc, is a no brainer, the little cost vrs the gain cannot be found in very many of the thousands of issues. And investors, smart investors know, the SEC filings and published financials are and can be manipulated. So if you base your dd on just these published reports, you are missing some great money making investments.

I found it quite amusing to see the 2 big razor companies claiming their razors give better shaves than all others- 3 blades versus 4 blades. With so many so-called men wearing goatees - lokking like they just finished competing in a blueberry pie eating contest-what are these two giants talking about.
