Grand Opening of Purio's Direct Water Distribution Division Scheduled for November 15, 2008
Wednesday November 12, 4:39 pm ET
BLAINE, WA--(MARKET WIRE)--Nov 12, 2008 -- Purio, Inc. (OTC BB:PURO.OB - News) is pleased to report that it is in the final stages of setting up its first commercial outlet in Southern California. The mandate of the division DBA UltraSafe Water Source(TM) is to serve the growing number of business offices that wish to eliminate bottled water, aim to cut costs, eliminate the 5-gallon bottles from their operations, and do so with nothing to buy.

Daryl English, President of Purio, says, "North America is in the infancy of a major paradigm shift in the way business offices supply purified drinking water to their staffs and clients. We see it as a major up-coming trend and we see ourselves in a great position to profit from it. Businesses are motivated in many ways to take action and upgrade their office water service from bottle-style dispensers to modern point-of-use (POU) water purifiers and totally do away with bottled water delivery. The first motivation is cost cutting and we can often cut the monthly water budget by over 25%. Second is the convenience factor; by eliminating the plastic 5-gallon bottles, offices free up precious floor and storage space, and eliminate the risk of employee injury caused by the lifting of the 45 pound back-breakers. Our POU purifiers not only offer a fresher tasting, better quality water, compared to bottles because it's not stored in plastic for weeks before consumption, but they also offer a greater production capacity so that businesses never more worry about running out of purified water. Couple that with the environmental care factor, whereby business can update their water service from the energy hungry, labor intensive and carbon producing delivery system of old fashioned bottles, and we are of the opinion that we are on the leading edge of a business boom."
Mr. English cited cities like San Francisco, Chicago and Vancouver, British Columbia as examples of municipalities that have banned the use of bottled water in their facilities due to concerns over its affect on the environment as well as concerns about possible health risks recently revealed from studies of chemicals leaching from water bottles into the drinking water.
"These municipalities and private corporations taking similar action are searching for the alternative service," Mr. English continues. "Others may not be aware of improvements that they could make to there operations and that's where we come in; our equipment, sourced right here in the USA totally eliminates the need for bottles by producing purified water right on the spot and on demand. On every factor considered; economy, convenience, water freshness, reliable supply and environmental care, we can offer our clients a significant improvement over the old system."
"Most of our setting up is done, with warehouse and office space secured, inventory in stock and paid for," Mr. English elaborates. "Our website, which is a work-in-progress is live at www.ultrasafe.us.com and in the up-coming weeks we will be fine-tuning our marketing strategy to grow our business."
Earl Switenky, spokesman for Purio Inc. and co-founder of UltraSafe Water Source, Canada, adds, "We have eight years of history and experience in this particular industry.

immediate cash flow for our company. We see the distribution of the new product line as synergistic with the commercialization of our patented water clarification technology in that it adds a point of use technology for the consumer. The fact that we are distributing the new product separate from the patented technology simply allows us to accelerate our cash flow potential. Every indication of the size of this future trend is nearly staggering and we are determined to address it. We are not only doing it for our company, but we're also doing it for the benefit of our business clients so together we may all do it for the better care of our beloved planet."

wastewater treatment technology," says Joseph Swanson, VP of Purio. "Purio

Purio's Direct Water Distribution Division Writes First Contracts

Market Wire "US Press Releases "

BLAINE, WA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 11/19/08 --
Purio Inc. (OTCBB: PURO) is pleased to report
that its first commercial outlet in Southern California is now officially
open. The mandate of the division DBA UltraSafe Water Source™ is to serve
the growing number of business offices that wish to eliminate bottled
water, aim to cut costs, eliminate the 5-gallon bottles from their
operations, and do so with nothing to buy.

Daryl English, President of Purio, says, "We have now officially set sail
into the marketplace. Businesses are motivated in many ways to take action
and upgrade their office water service from bottle-style dispensers to
modern point-of-use (POU) water purifiers and totally do away with bottled
water delivery. In today's economy, the first motivation is cost cutting
and we can often cut the monthly water budget by over 25%. Our primary
objective is to let the world of business offices know how we can help.
Even at this early stage, we have written our first 3 contracts, and more
quotes are in the pipeline waiting for approval. One of the quotes is to a
multi-campus educational institution."

Current research shows that some 30 cities in North America have banned the
use of bottled water in their facilities and more are discussing the topic
in council rooms worldwide. This number grows daily.

"It's a rare time in the course of normal business when legislation is
actually working FOR us," Mr. English states, "but we know that offices are
looking for help, even without government prompting. By providing better
economy, convenience, water freshness, reliable supply and environmental
care, we can offer our clients a significant improvement over the old
bottle-delivery system."

"We have an arrangement with a national finance company that gives us a
cash payment on opening of a contract, and also provides us with ownership
of the equipment when the original term is amortized. We then can look
forward to a residual-style income from the equipment, which has a life
expectancy far beyond the lease," continues English.

Earl Switenky, spokesman for Purio Inc. and co-founder of UltraSafe Water
Source, Canada, adds, "Our research shows that there are some 15.5 million
business offices in North America alone. Our location in California puts us
in the heart of a business-rich environment with thousands of offices
within a 25 mile radius. Our efforts are now focused on establishing a
high-energy team of consultants. Since this industry trend is so new, we
will strive to make UltraSafe the first name that comes to mind when
prudent office managers look to upgrade their purified water systems. Xerox
did it in copiers, Kleenex did it in tissue, and we recognize a similar
opportunity for us in purified water service."

High lights:

Daryl English, President of Purio, says, "We have now officially set sail into the marketplace. Businesses are motivated in many ways to take action and upgrade their office water service from bottle-style dispensers to modern point-of-use (POU) water purifiers and totally do away with bottled water delivery. In today's economy, the first motivation is cost cutting and we can often cut the monthly water budget by over 25%. Our primary objective is to let the world of business offices know how we can help. Even at this early stage, we have written our first 3 contracts, and more quotes are in the pipeline waiting for approval. One of the quotes is to a multi-campus educational institution."

LOVE THE FACT we now have (3) three contracts, signed and officially bringing in money, with more potential clients on the line or in discussions! and 1 is a major university type school, next if government buildings, hospitals, etc…

NOT TO MENTION ----- THIS UP COMING WEEKEND
PURO leaders and team will be in a meeting in South Africa for its need down there
---big thing here is this is our second invite in their several month struggle to find a product < looks like passed and go on to the next step if this deal falls threw, then we are set….

With a after hour print job of .0925 this will gap up in the morning

Both news very solid for what we are dealing with here!

lil bit of reading for all that have not seen this..and really will open up peoples eyes on why Puro will be a global force to be reckoned with imo:

Global Water Market
Fresh water has forever been a wellspring for the human species. The rapid growth that mankind has witnessed over the last 5000 years can almost always be directly linked to our ability to more efficiently tap into the power of water. Industry has in recent times turned its attention to solving the shortage of drinking water to implementing irrigation, and even to meet our increasing demands for electricity. Recent information points to the fact that the growing global water crisis may be reaching critical mass, and again mankind may look to industry for effective, environmentally safe solutions to this problem.

The World Water Commission, working in conjunction with the United Nations and the World Bank recently issued a 33 page report outlining the present world water crisis and its expected future course in grave detail. The report cites chronic issues involving our water supply and highlights growing concern about the quantity and quality of our available drinking water. Water truly is a rare and precious resource as it is believed that only .08 of 1 percent of the world’s total water is available for human use. Furthermore the report indicates that growing awareness of this world wide problem is necessary, as it appears that at least in the near future the issue will worsen. It is estimated that global water use will increase by roughly 40% over the next two decades as the human population is expected to grow exponentially within that time frame. Also, increased demands by industry, agriculture, and urban areas trying to keep up with and provide for the steadily growing population will put even greater strain on this precious resource. It will be vital for government and advanced industry to shift a great deal of focus in the direction of this issue, and solutions to the problem will continue to be extremely profitable in the short term at least.

In March 2003, the third World Water Forum was organized in Kyoto Japan by The World Water Council. Attended by world leaders, government officials, United Nations agencies, scientists, development groups and business representatives, the forum brought forth more ominous numbers. It estimated that at present, 1.1 billion people lack access to safe drinking water, three billion don’t have access to sanitation, and more than 500 million live in 31 countries with barely enough water for their people. Due to these startling figures there has been a minor shift in the governments of many countries to ensure that there is the implementation of higher standards of water and wastewater management, but also the installation of adequate facilities in thousands of communities where, at present, substandard or non-existent facilities are relied upon. Most of this governmental policy change, however, is being seen in first world countries that have the industrial means to face such an issue head on.

Two countries currently face water issues that are nearing epidemic levels, and the issue can be directly contributed to their massive populations and inability to cub pollution affecting their water supply. China and India, the world’s two most heavily populated countries are both facing serious consequences if they are unable to make serious changes to the methods in which they are able to provide water to their citizens. China is a country who is visibly experiencing the effects of pollution as well as the effects of population. China’s rivers are so polluted that many of the countries main rivers and lakes are entirely undrinkable. In fact, China’s source of drinkable water is so polluted with animal and human waste, including feces, that aquatic life can no even be supported. However, this water that is unacceptable for fish is unfortunately the water that is available too much of China’s population. This polluted water is a direct basis of the fact that China has the highest death rates due to stomach and liver cancers in the world. Although China is a prime example of the effects of water shortage, the problem is not limited to one country. Water-Bourne diseases fill almost half of hospital beds worldwide. Unclean water is not to be overlooked; it is killing thousands of people.

In India’s case the situation is much like the one in China. Without intervention, India’s water supply will be depleted in approximately 50 years. India is heavily dependant on ground water resources, which has lead to high pollutant levels of water supplies. As a result, there is an increasing demand for water technology helping to improve the water supply. India’s water needs have established considerable market opportunities for water industry participants in a position to offer viable solutions. China and India are the largest and most attractive water markets in the world. It is still to be seen whether the world leaders in this industry can offer effective solutions and capitalize on a problem that may in the future be the world’s most important industrial sector.

The spread of the world water crisis however isn’t purely limited to the worlds less industrialized nations. Water resources in the United States have already seen a steady depletion. This is no more evident then in the state of California where it has been estimated that 40% of the water is expected to disappear in the next 15 years. If the wealthier nations of the world, who have the industrial ability to address and attempt to fix the water issue and continue to turn a blind eye to it, they may soon suffer the same fate as China, and to a smaller extent India.

The global water issue is again at a crossroads, but within the negative there is a silver lining. The United Nations has set the goal of cutting the number of people without safe drinking water in half by the year 2015 which would require billions of dollars to achieve. Globally the water industry has been estimated as a $400 billion market with signs of long term growth ahead, especially in countries such as China and India. China alone is projected to exceed $125 billion within the next five years in hopes of enhancing their forms of water recycling and treatment methods. These investments however are not limited to a few countries. Most countries have begun to recognize the effects of water shortages and have begun to take charge, making water their top priority. The United States for example, are estimated to designate $1 trillion for water treatment over the next 20 years. As fortune magazine predicted “water promises to be to the 21st century what oil was to the 20th century: the precious commodity that determines the wealth of nations."

Purio's Meeting With President's Minister Yields Plan for Commerce

BLAINE, WA, Dec 02, 2008 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Purio (PURO) is pleased to
report that the recent presentation of its technology to the Minister of
Presidential Affairs of a leading West African country has resulted in a verbal
invitation from the Minister to Purio to visit his country. The Minister's office
will assist in fast-tracking the formal correspondence preceding the company's
visit to that country in early 2009.

In the private meeting following the forum, with Purio Chairman Earl Switenky and
President Daryl English, the Minister referred to the up-coming visit as "the
next step" in reference to his Country's determination to offer safe drinking
water and sanitation services to millions of residents who do not yet have access
to them. He stated, for example, that in the country's capital city alone, two
thirds of its one million inhabitants are without a drinking water
infrastructure. Since many areas of his country have abundant sources of surface
water that is unsafe for human consumption, the Minister viewed Purio's modular
transportable water purification system to be an obvious solution. The outcome of
the up-coming visit would be the development of a plan which would have Purio
equipment providing safe drinking water to his countrymen as soon as possible.

Numerous international aid agencies have committed safe drinking water
development capital programs to West Africa.

"Because safe drinking water is a basic human need, we know that it is at the top
of everyone's list of priorities," a spokesman stated. "We will work tirelessly
to arrange the availability of Purio equipment to our country. We will focus on
the health of our citizens so that through a strong and healthy people, we will
develop a stronger country."

Daryl English, President of Purio, says, "This region of the world has some of
the most unfortunate human statistics in the areas of mortality rates, especially
in infants. A major reason for this is believed to be unsafe water. Every day
counts in a situation like this and Purio is taking this invitation very
seriously."

Earl Switenky describes the situation as urgent, "We in North America may have
water needs, but the region of West Africa is in water crisis! It is difficult to
comprehend the magnitude of the hardship that millions of West Africans endure to
get drinking water of any kind. Safe drinking water is rare so millions are
forced to drink water that is loaded with disease pathogens and many succumb to
its risks. Purio sees this opportunity as three-fold. First is the opportunity to
provide affordable safe drinking water to millions of people; second is to plan
to provide an industrial economic stimulus in that region through the future
manufacturing, distribution and maintenance of our equipment; and third is the
opportunity for Purio to develop a business presence in West Africa as we plan to
reach out to the quickly developing Eastern Hemisphere."

About Purio Inc.

Purio owns proprietary water clarification technology suitable to a broad number
of applications including the clarification of surface water, industrial process
water and sewage. Purio intends to apply its technology initially to industrial
and commercial applications to reclaim water and reduce the need for fresh water
in such applications. Purio further intends to use its proprietary technology to
produce potable water for commercial and residential use. Purio will
commercialize its technology via a number of channels, namely licensing strategic
partners to build and sell &/or operate units outside of North America, outright
sale of their second generation (patent pending) units to end users and will
build, own and operate on a fee for service basis their larger permanent
installation units in North America. Website: http://www.puriowatertech.com

PURO just released major West Africa news after the bell today! The company announced that the presentation of its technology to a leading West African country has resulted in an invitation to visit the country!

Many areas of the country in question have abundant sources of surface water, but the water is unsafe for human consumption. The Minister of the country viewed PURO`s transportable water purification system as an obvious solution.

PURO does not have to deal with just one country, they can start dealing with all the countries in West Africa that will accept them! Several International aid agencies are committed to developing safe drinking water in West Africa.

This just out by ********..look for a pretty explosive week now..They have a huge following Glad to see them pick up on PURO!

Special Alert – PURO

My new pick is PURO !!

PURO is making a huge turn around, just take a look at the chart. http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/quickchart/quickchart.asp?symb=puro&sid=0&o_sym b=puro&freq=1&time=6

If you read PURO press release, they are expanding into the Southern California business office space. PURO is looking to eliminate bottled water service and help companies cut cost.

PURO is also expanding globally!!

Millions of humans around the world are in crisis need for safe drinking water; yet those millions are often surrounded by plenty of water that’s unsafe

PURO has the answer to the clean water problem.

Purio has developed a technology and built a compact, easy-to-use water purification system that can be used pretty much anywhere in the world to quickly and very cost-effectively purify dirty or polluted water for just about any use. Better yet, the unit can be made to run off solar power.

In a recent report indicates that world water consumption will increase by 40% over the course of the next twenty years as demand for personal, industrial and agricultural uses increase worldwide.

Where will people get the clean water to drink unless they have a way of cleaning it.

PURO has the technology to make this happen!!

You are probably thinking, don’t we already have water treatment plants?

These huge water treatment plants may be OK for big cities with access to a dependable supply of fresh water that is fairly cleans to begin with.

But what about the rest of the world where there is little or no clean water to purify through traditional means; in towns and villages when it is not feasible to build huge water treatment plants; in fast developing nations like China and India where the rivers and lakes are so polluted that purification by traditional methods is too difficult or expensive; or even in remote areas like Afghanistan or parts of Africa where just shipping the materials there and then manning big water plants is out of the question?

PURO has developed a self-contained water purification units that can be set-up almost anywhere and require very little oversight or maintenance to run. A single unit can produce enough clean water to serve 20,000-30,000 people and multiple units can be coupled together to purify enough water to serve even larger areas or small cities.

Unlike traditional water treatment plants, Purio's technology cleans dirty and polluted water without massive filters that constantly have to be cleaned or replaced and without huge amounts of corrosive chemicals like chlorine.

Every time a revolutionary new product or technology that will change the world debuts, the first ones to invest in it get SUPER-WEALTHY! Think Yahoo, AT&T, Microsoft, Exxon, IBM or even Google.

PURO potential market is huge!! The sales potential in Asia and Africa are in the billions. Water scarcity in India is widespread and pollution is rampant. In China 70% of the lakes and rivers are so badly polluted that the water is completely unsafe for human use. The country's population and its economy are at stake. Luckily, it would be far faster and cheaper for China to buy thousands of easy-care Purio units than build costly purification plants scatter around the country.

Take a look at some of these other water stock over the last year.

WWAT gain over 300% last year!!
CCC gain over 200%!!

PURO may be the next water stock to make huge gains.

Start your research on PURO now.

I will send you some more info later

Another update on PURO:From ********:
More on PURO

The momentum on PURO is growing, the chart saids it all. I think this one is headed a lot higher.

Polluted and dirty drinking water is a huge problem around the globe!

PURO's business is providing practical solutions to this growing global water crisis.

According to The World Bank, 80 countries now have water shortages that threaten health and economies while 40% of the world have no access to clean water or sanitation!

A United Nations report in 2003 even warned that more than half of humanity will be living with water shortages, depleted fisheries and polluted coastlines within 50 years because of a worldwide water crisis.

With statistics like this companies like PURO are relied upon heavily!

PURO's patented technology has a wide range of applicable capabilities including wastewater treatment, process water re-cycling, and drinking water production.

PURO's technology is a continuous-flow water/suspended-solids primary separation system. The process mechanically separates suspended solids from liquids, without the use of membranes or filters

The process mechanically separates suspended solids from liquids, without the use of membranes or filters.

When the process is applied to residential wastewater, the solids can be further processed through various forms of bio-reduction technology including composting thereby creating a value-added by-product suitable for uses in agriculture, horticulture, or landscaping.

Last month PURO stated that they have accepted an invitation to meet with high ranking government officials from a region of West Africa to formally present its water/wastewater technology!

Lack of clean drinking water is a problem all around the world but it is especially dire in Africa!

PURO VP Joseph Swanson said, "Discussions have been taking place between Purio and a representative of the Minister of Presidential and Public Affairs for several months while they have been searching the planet for the most effective water and wastewater treatment technology."

PURO President Daryl English also commented, "Developing countries are well aware that a most important factor influencing their populations' ability to prosper is good health. Clean, safe water is at the top of their list of priorities in that quest, and that's where Purio comes in. Our technology is designed to be versatile so that it can be deployed to either drinking water purification, or wastewater treatment.

Africa, South America, Mexico, even Canada and the U.S. as well as many other nations could benefit from PURO's purification units.

A report by The World Water Commission stated states that an estimated 1.1 billion people lack access to safe drinking water, three billion don’t have the means to access sanitized water, and another 500 million live in countries with barely enough water for their people.

PURO could save millions of lives with their patented technology!

Lab reports confirmed that PURO was able to make clean water from a dirty pond in a farming region of North Central Saskatchewan, Canada!

PURO's unit was set to process about 3250 USG (12,250 liters) per day.

PURO Chief Science Officer Leonard Girard stated, "Our portable water clarification and purification unit is equipped with on-board testing monitors which display water quality parameters in real-time at several points along the treatment train during operation. These monitors gave us confidence that our unit was producing safe, aesthetically pleasing water at the time."

"Of course the most important area of concern is the unit's ability to eliminate E. coli and coliform bacteria which present serious risk to human health if ingested. Our monitors, as well as the accredited lab report (summarized below) both agree that the drinking water produced was clear, bacteria-free and sanitary," he further stated.

PURO has received a letter of intent from Evergreen Estates Ltd. to build, install, commission and operate the water and sewage treatment facilities at their multi-phase 450 acre resort development in the beautiful parkland region of North-Central Saskatchewan Canada.

PURO spokesman Earl Switenky said, "Purio will participate in the operation of the water utilities services as a utility company, thereby creating a residual income stream for our company. A project like this, fully on-line, would generate annual revenues to the company of approximately $350,000."

Earlier this year PURO sent representatives to India.

India, with a sixth of the world's population, faces a rapidly growing water crisis, both in the urban and rural areas!

PPURO is responding to numerous requests from the country of India from companies whose focuses range from the construction industry to marketing!

There are plenty of "message boards" out there, take a look at their disclosures, you may just see what that board is really all about. And if they are promoting a stock for compensation and not providing disclosure you may want to review the rules to see if they are in compliance.

with all the news that's pending, in combination with the textbook chart on this one, and the stock egg newsletter, this is one of the most perfect plays I've ever seen, it's extremely textbook, F/A and T/A work perfectly together, this one should break into .30s this week, and from a T/A standpoint, there is literally no resistance after the light resistance at .27 until .47. The coming weeks this one will rock!

NEWS Purio to Assess Marketing and Manufacturing Facilities in British Columbia
Dec 10, 2008 9:30:00 AM

BLAINE, WA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 12/10/08 -- Purio (OTCBB: PURO) executives Joseph Swanson and Earl Switenky have accepted the invitation of a British Columbia manufacturing firm to visit its facilities on Vancouver Island during the week of December 15th, 2008.

"The purpose of the visit is threefold," says Mr. Swanson. "We know that there is an immediate demand for our equipment throughout British Columbia. The region is experiencing an increasing demand for real estate development and many of the most desirable areas are not serviced with water and wastewater infrastructure. This area boasts some of the most beautiful alpine and ocean side real estate in North America and the difficulty of servicing these new developments with conventional treatment systems is severe. Numerous development proposals are for island settings where each location is a stand-alone project. A number of developments are being held up by regulatory bodies simply because they are not able to provide water and wastewater services. We feel that the Purio technology is ideal in addressing the needs of these developers. One of our objectives in the tour is to determine the ways in which Purio equipment may be deployed to service these developments."

"Second on our list of goals is to select a suitable location at which to set up our treatment system in order to demonstrate it and gather performance data in order to obtain the permits required to operate our wastewater treatment equipment in British Columbia," continues Mr. Swanson. "This process will be valuable to us in that it will give us first-hand information that we require in order to custom design our equipment to best serve that market."

"Our third objective in the tour is to determine the suitability of a proposed manufacturing facility in the region," says Earl Switenky. "We've found experienced entrepreneurs in that region who have proposed to both market our technology and manufacture our products. They are intimately familiar with different aspects of real estate development and are already involved in manufacturing to serve that industry. One advantage of the location of this market is that it's really just out our back door."

Watch List for Monday 1-5-2009

My new big pick is PURO.

If you watch the markets closely you might be familiar with PURO. About a month and half ago PURO made a huge run which more than doubled and those lucky enough to get in were rewarded handsomely!

PURO has since come down in price and over the last few days has slowly started to trend up again. I believe as everyone goes back to work this week they are going to notice it. Put PURO on your watch list, because I believe its positioned to make another big run.

If you look at the 3 month chart you will understand what I'm talking about: http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/quickchart/quickchart.asp?symb=puro&sid=0&o_sym b=puro&freq=1&time=6

If you go to the 6 month chart you will see that PURO has twice doubled in price and a 3rd time could happen soon!!

PURO owns proprietary water clarification technology suitable to a broad number of applications including the clarification of surface water, industrial process water and sewage.

Make sure you always do your own research, and you can start by visiting their website at: http://www.puriowatertech.com.

I will send more information on PURO later today.

Nother update for PURO from ******:Just Out!!:
Watch List for Monday 1-5-2009

My new big pick is PURO.

Make sure you keep a close eye on PURO because it doubled in the past very fast and could it again soon!

Getting involved when a stock is flat or slightly moving up has proved beneficial in the past to many savvy traders. If PURO tests the highs made last month it would be gains of 100% from current levels!!

PURO is involved in the water purification business, while most of us take clean water for granted many people in the world only wished they had a cup of clean water.

Over the last few months PURO has been in talks with developing countries about their systems. This includes Malaysia, and Africa.

The Malaysian company states that the portability of the PURO equipment makes it ideal for the oil and gas exploration industry in that region because drilling rig personnel are housed in portable camps.

The transportability of PURO equipment, whether the application be for drinking water purification, or wastewater treatment appears to be very suitable for this type of application.

As important as everything in our lives is, water is probably the most important. The human body can only last a few days without water.

PURO could help millions of lives with their patented technology!

Make sure you always do your own research, consult a professional and to visit PURO's website: http://www.puriowatertech.com.

And what a pick it is:

More on PURO

If you missed the chart from my first email here it is again: http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/quickchart/quickchart.asp?symb=puro&sid=0&o_sym b=puro&freq=1&time=6 PURO could be setting up to make another big rally any day!

Millions of people are dying as a result of water shortages around the world.

There is a dire need for companies like PURO.

PURO has developed a self-contained water purification units that can be set-up almost anywhere and require very little oversight or maintenance to run.

A single unit can produce enough clean water to serve 20,000-30,000 people and multiple units can be coupled together to purify enough water to serve even larger areas or small cities.

PURO realizes that with so many countries lacking fresh drinking water, their units may be a critical necessity to help sustain life.

According to The World Bank, 80 countries now have water shortages that threaten health and economies while 40% of the world have no access to clean water or sanitation!

In China, 70% of the lakes and rivers are so badly polluted that the water is completely unsafe for human use.

Water scarcity in India is widespread and pollution is rampant!

Nearly 65% of schools in India do not have drinking water for the children. Dangerous water-born hepatitis routinely threatens the population.

PURO's water units can easily run on solar power if needed, they can be deployed virtually anywhere - which means that billions of people with limited or no access to dependable electric power can now count on a reliable source of clean water.

It has been said that by 2010, the water shortage in many developing countries is recognized as one of the most serious political and social issues of the time!

Any small developing country could benefit immensely from PURO's water units.

Imagine the market potential and profit potential PURO could have when their system gains widespread usage.

"Globally, water usage has increased by six times in the past 100 years and will double again by 2050, driven mainly by irrigation and demands of agriculture. Some countries have already run out of water to produce their own food. Without improvements the consequences will be even more widespread water scarcity and rapidly increasing water prices," said Frank Rijsberman, Director General of The International Water Management Institute.

I firmly believe that a company like PURO could significantly change our future.

PURO intends to apply its technology initially to industrial and commercial applications to reclaim water and reduce the need for fresh water in such applications.

When PURO's process is applied to residential wastewater, the solids can be further processed through various forms of bio-reduction technology including composting thereby creating a value-added by-product suitable for uses in agriculture, horticulture, or landscaping.

The liquid in turn, can be further refined through bio-filtration or ozonation to reduce biological oxygen demand; and may be economically sanitized by means of Ultra-violet light or ozonation. The resulting product water meets stringent environmental disposal standards and becomes valuable for irrigation or other agricultural applications.

Agriculture is a gigantic industry all over the world. In California alone, this is just one state in the U.S., agriculture is worth more than $30 billion!

PURO's technology has been extensively, independently tested under actual residential wastewater reclamation conditions and has received a provincial approval for such use in Canada.

Take a look at this gallery of pictures to get an idea of a PURO unit:
http://www.puriowatertech.com/gallery.php

PURO is planning to commercialize its technology via a number of channels, namely licensing strategic partners to build and sell &/or operate units outside of North America, outright sale of their second generation (patent pending) units to end users and will build, own and operate on a fee for service basis their larger permanent installation units in North America.

PURO is currently engaged in discussions regarding the marketing and manufacturing of its products in Malaysia.

The Malaysian company states that the portability of the PURO equipment makes it ideal for the oil and gas exploration industry in that region because drilling rig personnel are housed in portable camps.

The transportability of PURO equipment, whether the application be for drinking water purification, or wastewater treatment appears to be very suitable for this type of application.

a joke in what sense? as stated earlier, the promo campaigns can be played for decent flips. I sure wouldn't "invest"...

much better dough to be made today in flipping the hot Q-plays.

well, dizz...

let's see if you can answer your own question...

Here's a quickie: Can you explain the PURO business model?

Now...no running over to the iHub pumper thread (You realize the lil thread-mods are paid, right?) for a quick cut 'n paste. Just in your own words, as you understand it--what's the salient, high-touch summary of PURO's plan?

basically to purify water correct? try to give companies a cheaper source of energy? lol...

see what I mean?

to be fair, if I'm hitting a runner, it's kinda like a video game...just symbols on a screen. But I might hold only a few minutes, too.

But anytime you enter a position you might hold--even for a few days--you gotta know what the deal is. If you don't understand it, don't do it.

puro was overeextended on the chart here a few minutes ago, and williams%R showed overbought, now it trading back within the bollies, williams%R showing no longer overbought, and macd still bullish, looking like a good start to the day here, nice open of .13, puro looking strong

with the great management team here, the low share count, and the pending news, its only a matter of time before we get some big news to catapult this stock to new highs, patience will pay here, time will tell all, and I have a feeling that once we get one solid PR the rest will start flowing in, and then we will see many days of green ahead of us, puro long and strong

Pending News for PURO:
1. Ultrasafe distribution center update
2. Update from SCIA conference
3. Update on negotiations with West Africa (contract)
4. Update on negotiations with Malaysia (contract)
5. Update on negotiations with India (contract)
6. Update on negotiations with British Columbia (contract)
7. Update on the 3 written contracts that were PRd

Just one of these comes and the rest should start flowing, and that is when we see new highs here. I would prefer contract/negotiation news personally.

this has held very strong here, given the fact that we haven't had any solid news in a long time, it is very easy to see how quick it moves just by looking at trading history and the current L2, after .13s then its .18s, so as the sellers move up from there, they are short term thus less resistance, meaning we're extremely thin to a 50% gain from here, thats astonishing and leaves me very confident in the stock, as I am already confident in this company's outstanding technology and pending results/contracts, it is very easy to see confidence in the stock/pps after seeing it hold up for a while now and seeing the trading patterns with its movements, it may look down right now from the most recent highs, but long term, since we've all taken a notice at this one we're still up 100%, shows quite a bit how strong we really are

Puro looking a little oversold right now on the chart, should pop back up during lunch imo, afternoon should be stronger and hopefully a green or even close for the day after a nice power hour

it looks like PURO will be consolidating in the .10-.13 range all week or until we hear some news, the day to day action shouldn't be taken that seriously unless it extends outside this range, then we would take need for further evaluation, but so far over the last two days consolidation seems to be the case, chart is healthily trading sideways and when we get contract news will trend upward imo

Posted by Luvthatmoney on :

Puro's management team is pretty smart, evidenced by the negotiations they've been having with many countries, there not going to release a fluff pr that just says that they signed a contract with no specifics. It takes a long time to complete these types of things, especially on the global level they're at, when we do finally get the news about one of the contracts I could see it being very juicy and will really send this stock to new levels, until then patience is the key, sometimes you have to wait months for these things, i doubt its really too much longer really, we should here something within the next two weeks imo

Posted by Luvthatmoney on :

Currently we're trading near our lower bollinger band on the 15 minute, all indicators signaling that we're bearish and oversold, Williams%R indicating very oversold, we should turn up from here and hit the ask any time now, it may be after lunch but we shouldn't go any lower than .10 according to the chart

Water Pollution Facts and Figures

We sometimes hear politicians and pundits say, "There's no water pollution problem anymore. We've done very well cleaning up our water." Now, we would never suggest that anyone take a politician at his word or believe the TV—proceed into the spin zone at your own risk. But since there are no rivers on fire now and we don't see too many stories about fish kills, they must be right, eh? On the other hand, a majority of people in the Western world seem to think their tap water is much less safe and drinkable than bottled water, which is a very expensive way for people to quench their thirst.

So, when it comes to water pollution facts, who's all wet and who's got it right? This article is the first of a multi-part series that will splash around in the deep end of the water pollution issue.

BEFORE THE WATER POLLUTION FACTS – WATER BASICSBefore we dive into our pool of water pollution facts, it will be helpful to do a quick review of the different types of water in general:

Ocean Water: The vast majority of water on the planet is the salt water in the oceans and seas.

Fresh Surface Water: This is the fresh water in rivers, streams, lakes, ponds and similar bodies of water. (Almost all of these contain fresh water, though a few lakes contain salty water.) Technically, the world's ice caps and glaciers also fall into this category , and actually contain very, very large amounts of fresh water.

Groundwater: The majority of the planet's liquid freshwater is stored in underground aquifers. It's important to remember that groundwater pollution is very difficult to treat, and it doesn't just "flush out" on its own. Water that enters an aquifer remains there for an average of 1,400 years!

Hey, I think that was our first water pollution fact! Here are some more.

WATER POLLUTION FACTS FOR THE UNITED STATESWater Pollution Fact #1

40% of America's rivers are too polluted for fishing, swimming, or aquatic life.

Water Pollution Fact #2

Even worse are America's lakes—46% are too polluted for fishing, swimming, or aquatic life.

Water Pollution Fact #3

Two-thirds of US estuaries and bays are either moderately or severely degraded from eutrophication (nitrogen and phosphorus pollution).

Water Pollution Fact #4

The Mississippi River—which drains nearly 40% of the continental United States, including its central farm lands—carries an estimated 1.5 million metric tons of nitrogen pollution into the Gulf of Mexico each year. The resulting hypoxic coastal dead zone in the Gulf each summer is about the size of Massachusetts.
Endangered Rivers
The river-protection group American Rivers lists the primary water pollution threats for U.S rivers:
-- Polluted runoff from roads, parking lots, and neighborhood lawns
-- Runoff from farms (pesticides, fertilizers, and animal waste)
-- Livestock damage to riparian areas (reduces near-stream filtering abilities)
-- Logging and mining operations

Of the 1200 species listed as threatened or endangered, 50% depend on rivers and streams. At least 123 freshwater species became extinct during the 20th century.

Water Pollution Fact #5

1.2 trillion gallons of untreated sewage, stormwater, and industrial waste are discharged into US waters annually. The US EPA has warned that sewage levels in rivers could be back to the super-polluted levels of the 1970s by the year 2016.

Water Pollution Fact #6

In any given year, about 25% of beaches in the US are under advisories or are closed at least one time because of water pollution.

WATER POLLUTION FACTS BEYOND THE U.S.Water Pollution Fact #7

Asian rivers are the most polluted in the world. They have three times as many bacteria from human waste as the global average and 20 times more lead than rivers in industrialized countries.

Water Pollution Fact #8

In 2004, water from half of the tested sections of China's seven major rivers was found to be undrinkable because of pollution.
Canada’s
Most Endangered Rivers
#1 - Petitcodiac River
#2 - Eastmain River
#3 - Okanagan River
#4 - Taku River / Iskut River
#5 - Groundhog River
#6 - Milk River
#7 - Peel River
#8 - Red River
#9 - Churchill River
#10 - Bow River

Water Pollution Fact #9
The quality of water in Europe's rivers and lakes used for swimming and water sports worsened between 2004 and 2005, with 10% of sites not meeting standards.

Water Pollution Fact #10
Slovakia has the lowest compliance with EU guidelines for freshwater areas, with only 22.4% of bathing sites meeting the standards.

Water Pollution Fact #11
Thirty percent of Ireland's rivers are polluted with sewage or fertilizer.

Water Pollution Fact #12
The Sarno is the most polluted river in Europe, featuring a nasty mix of sewage, untreated agricultural waste, industrial waste, and chemicals.

Water Pollution Fact #13
Greece has the cleanest coastal waters, followed by Spain and Germany. Lithuania and Estonia have the dirtiest coastal waters.

Water Pollution Fact #14
The King River is Australia's most polluted river, suffering from a severe acidic condition related to mining operations.

Water Pollution Fact #15
Pollution of freshwater (drinking water) is a problem for about half of the world's population. Each year there are about 250 million cases of water-related diseases, with roughly 5 to 10 million deaths.

Water Pollution Fact #16
Diseases caused by the ingestion of water contaminated with pathogenic bacteria, viruses, or parasites include:

cholera
typhoid
schistosomiasis
dysentery and other diarrheal diseases
Water Pollution Fact #17
Bangladesh has some of the most polluted groundwater in the world. In this case, the contaminant is arsenic, which occurs naturally in the sediments. Around 85% of the total area of the country has contaminated groundwater, with at least 1.2 million Bangladeshis exposed to arsenic poisoning and with millions more at risk.

Water Pollution Fact #18
Each year, plastic waste in water and coastal areas kills up to:

100,000 marine mammals,
1 million sea birds, and
countless fish.

Water Pollution Fact #19
The world's seas are beset by a variety of water pollution problems. See the table below for 10 of the worst areas.

Water Pollution Fact #20
In one week, a typical cruise ship generates:

210,000 gallons of sewage;
1,000,000 gallons of "gray water" from showers, sinks, dishwashers and clothes washers;
37,000 gallons of oily bilge water;
more than eight tons of solid waste; and
toxic wastes from onboard operations like dry cleaners and photo processing laboratories.
Water Pollution Fact #21
Around 80% of the pollution in seas and oceans comes from land-based activities.

great close today here, closed green and right smack in the middle of the .10-.13 range we've been consolidating in, also the number of buys vs. sells today was pretty much even, weaker hands in, stronger hands out, overall a great day today for puro

Something I read elsewhere and wanted to share -

Nice close today & steady volume continues...going to be a lot of fun watching Purio's next series of material developments unfold as I firmly believe Purio's positioned to penetrate a HUGE untapped market in developing countries who choose to avail themselves of the UNDP & other financial aid programs available to fund a venture with Purio for their proprietary solutions!!!

Still say the market's misjudging Purio's decision to respectfully decline that prestigious United Nations invitation!!! I mean Purio was 1 of 25 co.'s world-wide hand selected to present their emerging technology in Nairobi Kenya for a reason after all!!! Obviously someone at the UN knows firsthand what Purio's proprietary water clarification solutions can do as the United Nations representatives didn't invite Purio to partake in such a prestigious conference on some unwarranted whim!!!

So for those of you who are able to dig deeper than the surface for clues PURO's last PR provides...good job & good luck on your PURO investment over the coming weeks...because for anyone who can't see how & where the UNDP is going to fit into all this b4 all is said & done you're not doing enough of the available due. Countries like Sierra Leone need funding packages to improve their deplorable water/wastewater infrastructures after all...so it's no wonder Purio's execs made the decision to focus on contract opportunities in British Columbia prior to the United Nations Conference they had to turn down. Developing countries who want Purio's proprietary solutions will have to line up the proper funding b4 any contract agreements can be finalized after all. So it's a great sign that Purio's execs are focused on signing initial contracts that can occur quite rapidly in some areas of the planet...while waiting for other countries to get all the funding/paperwork involved lined up prior to Purio going back to the table for finalizations!

nice green day yesterday FuturesJackal
looking for more of the same today!

Posted by Luvthatmoney on :

PURO had a nice open with lots of hits on the ask, now we have a bid ut and an ask ut already as well, macd's currently a little bullish and 15 minute was looking good until that one last bidwhack, now it seems williams%R is indicating oversold, should hit the ask soon here and make it green for today, without news we can expect another day of consolidation with holding our .10 support, even buys vs sells, and trading in the .10-.13 range, would be nice to have a second green day in a row here, puro long and strong

Posted by Luvthatmoney on :

bollies seemed to have tightened up here today and consolidation definitely seems to be occuring, williams%R indicating oversold again as well, should turn from here soon, holding that .10/.095 support very nicely

Posted by Luvthatmoney on :

we just had a nice support test a little bit ago and we passed greatly, the pps didn't even go below .10 let alone the .095 exact support level, PURO's looking strong in a time without news, looking very good today and holding very well, of course a close of even or green would be really nice but holding support shows the real strength, with news coming within the next week or so we should be sailing through these levels for the L2 is still very thin all the way to the .20s

Posted by Luvthatmoney on :

before the bell: parabolic sar bullish, macd bullish, bollies looking tight here, and rsi rising on the 15 minute, looks like it might be a green day today everybody

bollies still looking tight here, and williams%R indicating oversold on 15 minute, can't last long at these levels according to the chart

Posted by Luvthatmoney on :

with the DOW losing 1000 points over the last 2 weeks, with the market being red for the 7th straight day, to see PURO hold its support is quite amazing, running on no news in a red market PURO is holding its .10/.095 support area like a champ, i knew it was strong but expected it might bust through support if market continued the downward spiral, it has gone beyond my expectations and really proven how strong it really is, imagine what it will do with contract news on a green market day, now that for sure will be a breakout.

Posted by Luvthatmoney on :

great start to the day here, a lot of buying volume coming in, PURO's green, parabolic sar is bullish, macd's bullish, rsi is climbing, and bollies are widening, rebounding pretty good off of yesterday

Posted by Luvthatmoney on :

looks like we just had one seller come in and bidwhack til they were finished, williams%R indicating oversold and we're trading near the lower bollie, should reverse here now technically and because it looks like that seller is done

Posted by Luvthatmoney on :

red again but at least we closed in that .10-.13 range that I talked about and had buying pressure near the close, next week should be a lot better, today shouldve been the last day of consolidation, i think we should hear something good next week, have a good weekend all!

bollies have widened here now, we're trading near the lower bollie, and williams%R is showing oversold, looks like we reverse here very shortly according to the chart

Posted by Luvthatmoney on :

parabolic sar and macd bullish here, looks like we got some nice bid support, and L2 is even thinner than before, after .10 its .16, thinner than can be and just waiting to run, get some of that news we've been waiting for and it'll move quick

Posted by Luvthatmoney on :

power hour's here, let's see a strong close today guys of even or above, keep closing above .095/.10 before news hits and we should be just fine, doesn't take much to move NITE around at the ask so lets get some eod buying!

puro 15 minute showing oversold here with many indicators, we're trading below the lower bollinger band right now, williams%R indicating oversold as well, looks like it shouldn't be at .08 much longer according to the chart, btw, all over penny world there seems to be sell off today

You don't think the overall trend might have at least some little, itty-bitty-bit of relelvance?

Posted by Luvthatmoney on :

it does, but it depends on how you're playing this stock,if you're just trading it or if you're long term, or just a few weeks, it depends on a lot things as to what chart matters to you, although i'm mid to long term here, i post analysis of the 15 minute because for intraday action its the one i prefer and it helps people who are trading, or waiting to get in or out

Posted by Luvthatmoney on :

incredibly cheap prices right now, need to watch for the right place to bounce, should be very soon since chart is oversold on 15 minute, williams%R oversold, RSI declined and trading below lower bolli

Posted by Luvthatmoney on :

the market is down today so thats definitely not helping here, also being a friday doesn't help, as well as the fact that we're still waiting on news, and people are just getting impatient, and when someone gets impatient it causes a ripple effect of panic selling, which is what we're seeing here, it looks like its starting to bounce now though from that .05 low

Posted by marinamel on :

got that right Luv...very cheap. I am in all I am going to get but nice entry points for anyone else.

Posted by Luvthatmoney on :

PURO seems to have bounced from its low of .05 today, as expected by the chart analysis i posted earlier, it is coming back strong now, with consistent strength in buying since and pps rise, b/a is currently .065x.07, very close to being green, which would really be quite a feat after the morning sell off

Warren Buffet - I should emphasize that we do not measure the progress of our investments by what their market prices do during any given year. Rather, we evaluate their performance by the two methods we apply to the businesses we own. The first test is improvement in earnings, with our making due allowance for industry conditions. The second test, more subjective, is whether their “moats”– a metaphor for the superiorities they possess that make life difficult for their competitors– have widened.

In the background, I imagine a hard working management team making their Purio, Inc. moat much wider... And, if this is happening, competitors will find themselves behind the curve for a very long time to come -

Trouble ahead, said Billy.

Seriously, compare really good volume days to pps improvement.

If you're really a chart person, a TA technician, you should be pointing out the discrepancies instead of serving up Kool-Aide-laced platitudes.

True, a good 15-minute chart can be quite valuable for day-trading; I use that same time-period (with different indicators than I use for longer trades) specifically to time an exit.

Let me repeat: in my experience, this type of data is almost worthless for timing an entry to a daytrade. But for an exit? Sure...

Now, am I saying you can't day-trade or swing-trade PURO? Absolutely not. There's money to be made here...

I repeat: look at the overall chart--lower highs and lower lows. That discounts neither the volatility nor the paid promos. As I posted earlier in-thread, play the dadgum pump.

Interestingly, he uses "moat" as in a moat of deep water providing a margin of safety. The "moat" is the overall superiority of Purio, Inc. technology recorded in patents and recognized in public by the West African delegation and in British Columbia, Canada AS WELL AS the UNEP conference that gave the invitation to participate in Nairobi -

"... Discussions have been taking place between Purio and a representative of the Minister of Presidential and Public Affairs for several months while they have been searching the planet for the most effective water and wastewater treatment technology," says Joseph Swanson, VP of Purio. "Purio has communicated the features and benefits, performance statistics, and the versatility of our technology and, according to their feed-back, it appears that we may have equipment that's unique in the world... "... Recent meetings with developers and utility companies in British Columbia and Alberta have made us aware of not only a huge demand for our technology, but a willingness by land developers and other parties to consider the Purio technology as their technology of first choice. Our job now is to provide the equipment in a form that is able to satisfy the need. ..."

"... Purio has obviously attracted the attention of UNEP in that the invitation extended to Purio was unsolicited and limited to 25 companies worldwide... "

Since you invoke Buffet's name...what do you think Mr. Buffet would have to say about encouraging folks to tie up hard-earned capital in a venture such as this?

PURO - NEW NEWS!!!

Vancouver, British Columbia March 18, 2009 - Purio Inc. (OTCBB: PURO) - PURIO INC. ANNOUNCES WATER PURIFICATION SHOWCASE EVENTS

Purio is pleased to announce the first public showcases of its patented water clarification and purification technology in Campbell River, British Columbia, Canada.

The technology showcases will be held on March 21 and March 28, 2009 and will be hosted by Earl Switenky, Purio's Chairman, and Daryl English, CEO. The events will be attended by potential consumers, water sanitation industry experts, and other interested parties from the US, Canada, Africa and the UK. "These exciting special events are open to the public, although all guests must register in advance. Those interested are encouraged to call our toll free number (1-888-590-1156) for more information." said Mr. English.

The transportable clarification and purification unit to be demonstrated is powerful, versatile, and capable of producing safe drinking water from severely polluted water sources such as residential sewage. Showcase attendees will be able to view Purio's technology and equipment performing the most challenging of assignments—upgrading residential sewage to safe discharged standards.

Earl Switenky explains, "The Campbell River showcase site, located on Vancouver Island, was chosen because the region is a prime target environment for applying Purio's technology. For a host of reasons, conventional technologies are not necessarily viable in this ecologically sensitive and developmentally challenging area. Purio is pleased to have the opportunity to demonstrate the economic benefits and the operational advantages of our technology in this real world environment."

"The showcase will also allow our guests to meet and talk with our entire business and scientific team, something that we believe is important for a new company introducing a new technology" said Maurice Swanson, Vice President of Operations. Leonard Girard, Chief Science Officer, added that "as with our past tests, samples of the input and product waters will be taken and independently tested by an accredited laboratory so that the results of the operation are beyond doubt."

To RSVP for the March 21 or March 29, 2009 Technology Showcase Events, Please Call 1-888-590-1156.

View Additional ProfilesVANCOUVER, BC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 04/07/09 -- Daryl English, President of Purio Inc. (OTCBB: PURO), today advised that visitors to Purio's Showcase event located adjacent to the Campbell River airport in British Columbia, Canada were shown a real time demonstration of Purio's compact design water purification system.

The unit was showcased in its most challenging environment, that of reclaiming and processing sewage effluent into water that was safe for discharge. Mr. English went on to say that "the event was attended by local developers as well as by international visitors." Chairman Earl Switenky said that "the success of the event has prompted me to begin planning another one in the coming months. The fact that people have traveled from around the globe to see our technology in action speaks volumes to the world wide need for effective, efficient and economic water solutions. Feedback from the visitors confirmed that the technology met and even exceeded their expectations."

The event was capped off with the signing of a letter of intent with a residential development company from Sierra Leone, West Africa. "The expandable system will be designed to service up to 500 homes initially providing both potable water and sewage treatment. We will have a preliminary design and cost estimates complete within the next few weeks and we will provide our shareholders with an update as appropriate then," said Maurice Swanson, Vice President of Operations.
