"The WHA Junior West Hockey League is pleased to announce that two more locations have been added to the league which will begin play this September, 2006. The town of Osoyoos , in British Columbia and Pierce County ( Tacoma ), Washington , have officially been added to the league bringing the number of teams participating in the inaugural season to a total of six.
The WHA Junior West Hockey League will have three teams located in British Columbia (New Westminster Whalers, Squamish Cougars, and Osoyoos Spurs), and three teams located in Washington State (Bellingham Bulls, Kent Fighting Saints, and Pierce County Sharks).
Team offices will begin to open in July, with main training camps beginning late August and league games beginning in mid September."
