Thanks for reading my "spiel"

Possibly strange question...but is there a way to keep it from creating its own hype...as in when Glassman says go long on *** - everyone buys?
I like to keep my optimist nature in check.

Subject: SHGY, a Hidden Gem OR Just another Company ?
SearchGuy.com Inc (SHGY.pk)
A Hidden Gem OR Just another Company ?
Let me introduce you to Searchguy.com (OTC: SHGY), one of the newest
and most innovative search engines on the net today...
If you were offered the chance to buy Google.com or Yahoo at .50
cents, would you jump on the opportunity? Well, SHGY is presenting
that exact opportunity to investors... Do a direct comparison between
Searchguy.com and Google.com , Yahoo.com , or Askjeeves.com ( All
billion dollar market cap stocks) and see how the results differ.
Most of the time you will see you get much better search results with
Searchguy.com ...This is a ground floor opportunity to purchase what
may be the direct competition to Google.com in the VERY near future.
Google.com`s Recent 2.3 billion dollar initial public offering
has
brought it to a staggering 37 billion dollar market cap and a
whopping Price Earnings ratio of 190. ! Yahoo.com is currently
trading with a 46 billion dollar Market cap and a Price to Earnings
ratio of 134, Even MAMA.com an underachieving search engine with an
income of only 1.2 million dollars is trading with a Price Earnings
ratio of 57 , and if a company like Looksmart.com Who is losing 5
million dollars a year net can have a 170 million dollar market cap I
believe that no matter how good or bad Searchguy.com's financials
will be the hype factor surrounding these stocks should bring its
market cap to 100 million$ which would be 2$ a share. This is also a
very conservative estimate because if and when this search engine
were to get widespread usage, I believe we could see a spike to as
high 3-4$ within the next few months.
Some Important Points to Consider (most information provided by the
company)
* No debt – The company is fully financed by private investors as
Google was in its early stages and does not need any financing for at
least the next 12 months ( note this is where most bulletin board and
pink sheet companies fail in their share price , because their
development stage status and need for financing brings the wrong kind
of financiers to the table who just seek a maximum return on their
investment within the shortest amount of time).
* Enough cash to at least till September of 05 without the need to
access debt or additional equity (Low Cash Burn Rate).
* Generating Revenue + cash flow positive ("We can exist and make a
profit on what we already have in our client base").
* Audit currently undergoing, anticipated to be completed soon.
* Quotation on the Nasdaq as soon as possible.
* NO Risk of Dilution: The Company has received several calls from
large investors and some institutions asking for shares. The Company
has stated again and again, that Insiders aren't interested in
selling any stock.
* O/S 50M: Was Just DECREASED by a cancellation of 50 million shares
by the company.
* Float 14M: Free Float is 4M and in Strong Hands; most % of the
Float (10M shares) controlled by Insiders who aren't selling.
* MOBILE SEARCH: This new technology will allow users to browse the
internet from any Palm Pilot or Blackberry device, as well as
internet enabled mobile phones. SearchGuy Mobile has been tested in
over seven countries, with an average result time of just over two
seconds per search query.
* Geographical expansion into other continents (Japan, UK, Spain,
Italy…)
* Hot Sector: With the Google.com IPO that just happened and the
overall momentum and hype in the Search Engine Sector, Searchguy.com
is a company that is set to benefit from the upcoming
* Institutional Support (several speculative hedge funds accumulating
it)
* Toolbar V2.0: The launch of this updated version of the
Searchguy.com application is going to have a built in Firewall and
Spy-ware detector.
* Exposure: With the recent launch of the National Advertising
campaign , Searchguy.com is investing in its future by spending money
on exposure.
IN CONCLUSION I believe that after reviewing the FACTS, It might be
that the other Search Engines are just plain overvalued or maybe
Searchguy.com is just undervalued , as an investor I feel the
equilibrium will need to be met and it doesn't look like
Yahoo.com or
Google.com are coming down anytime soon. So I say SHGY is a HIDDEN
GEM.

Your posts are really thoughtful and I do appreciate your sharing.
Start a new thread on this board as SARAH'S PICS OF THE WEEK or something like that. You have my support and admiration.

I'd deffinately watch it though, I'd probably wait for google to start cooling off though. But then again people want to try and find a 'discount google' which could give attention to this company. I was in on LOOK awhile back, barely made money on that.
I think the main question is, what is this company doing thats different?

I'm in SBJX and MRKL and intend to just wait for some profits. Wasn't bothered by the selloff yesterday in SBJX. Seems like somebody put some money on Kerry and had to cash out but it's already bouncing back.
Though the price dropped substantially, I wouldn't call that a sell off. I think it was one sale that took it down. The bid/ask was something like .10/.19. The MM's are maintaining a ridiculous spread.
People are finally getting orders filled under .15 today. I took a little profit two weeks ago, but with the tiny float I would keep the bulk of your shares for the semi-long term. This one could be a zip code changer.

This sounds like a great idea just don't make too many rules and it should work. I think the problem we had here when this board first started was everyone thought they were going to get rich quick when they did not get rich quick they all bailedoffshore
That's why I posted the "penny rules" so that people wouldn't come to this board and be misled as I was when I got started. No, I didn't come expecting to get rich quick...I was told I could by the board moderator. Of course they knew better than that, so if I've been helpful to at least one person here...then I've done good
As for posting a thread for me, it doesn't seem to be a popular idea. I think it would be great if the people here continue to research for low float, real co. pennies that they can make some profit from. I have been moving more into nasdq and amex stocks lately and am pretty involved in that.
I will check here once in awhile, but will not post anymore picks because I will no longer be researching pennies.
Good luck everybody, be realistic and you'll do great
