These dumb basterds have not a purpose but to kill us all:

WASHINGTON (AP) — The House on Monday overwhelmingly approved a resolution urging President Barack Obama to send lethal weapons to Ukraine to protect its sovereignty in its fight against Russian-backed rebels.

The resolution was approved 348 to 48.

There is bipartisan support in Congress to provide the arms to Ukraine forces battling the rebels. Russian President Vladimir Putin denies arming rebels in the war in eastern Ukraine, which began last April after Moscow annexed the mostly Russian-speaking Crimean Peninsula.

You guys may not be following the Ukraine thing but I assure I have from the moment is started. (I have all the live web streams, I watched live as Crimea was secured...(and CHEERED loudly) Watched as Euromaiden nazis first started the unrest via CIA direction) This is big beyond any other wandering issue we haphazardly discuss here. This is where WWIV starts..

In late 2013 I posted a thread about Syria..

This is bigger but in the same vein.

We are trying to coax Russia into firing the first shot.

Putin has stated over and over that if we send lethal weapons to the Kiev nazis... IT WILL BE WAR..

You can doubt him.. You can..

But I see him. This man is not fn about. Nor am I. Well sometimes I am.. But not now.

This is the end game.. Our side must secure Ukraine for the missile shield which in turn secures our first strike capability.

Putin must secure Ukraine not just to defend against that but to secure his brethren.

For us it's strategic. For him, it's family.

The dumb fn Pollocks:

http://www.thenews.pl/1/2/Artykul/201195,Polish-Army-summons-reservists

Is there a time when they can't be on the wrong side of things???

" General Bogusław Pacek assures the step is nothing out of ordinary and bears no relation to theongoing crisis in Ukraine.
In an interview for broadcaster TVN24, the defence minister’s advisor explained such a mode of operation, where individuals are obligated to reach a given military unit within hours, is “the perfect test” of the reservists’ readiness to perform.
The army may call up any male aged between 18 and 60 with a satisfactory medical history.
General Pacek stated that they would not be informed about the whereabouts of the military unit beforehand so as to ensure reliable results of the test.
According to a statement issued by the Defence Ministry on Monday, the exercise is “conducted in line with plans to check the operational and mobilisation readiness in the Armed Forces in 2015, and stems from the [army’s] need to accumulate well-trained reserve troops.”

To Putin it is family. To our congress? it's profits..
I don't like Putin but i expect he will defend vigorously.

Can you imagine if Cruz were to win in 2016?

Who cares if Cruz were to win? Is he so bad compared to Hillary? Hildabeast is a sleazy politico and some on this board have idolized her so much in the past.

As for Ukraine I have been following it too. I love personal footage taken by the troops or regular folks over there as opposed to news stations. You learn more about the culture of the conflict especially in Ukraine. The russian troops I have seen in the videos all seem to say they are not stopping until Kiev.

Most people pronounce Kiev as Kee-ev, but really its pronounced Keev. Anyway like I have said before the word sees the weakness of Obama and his mistakes. Muslim brotherhood sure spends a lot of time in the WH, and then all of a sudden Iran has over 20,000 troops in Iraq and is running the show against ISIS? Hate and rhetoric against Israel on levels I havent seen.

Gotta love the true roots of anti antisemitism that go back to the Democrat party. You know, the party of slavery, the klan, and hatred of the Jewish people.

Putin is doing a lot right now and this is his window to make some moves. What do we do? Well we trash the Republicans as war mongers, let Russia and China rebuild their military, cut our military spending, and pretend hope and change will work itself into the global spectrum.

Cmon everyone! Lets get "ready for hillary"! If you do not get on board your a sexist white male tea bagger republican!

Glass, you are racist for not supporting Ted Cruz because he is Cuban! A latino! Cmon everyone there are plenty of race cards to pass out and throw around to avoid any intellectual dialogue.

LOL...

the "weaknesss" of Obama when he has ordered the drone execution of more people than Bush? Obama has shown no weakness cow. if anything it's the critics of Obama that have shown weakness to the enemy.

Cruz is not just stupid, he's mean. Hillary is just mean...

neither one is a good choice. BTW? hillary will will have to attack somebody to prove she's got balls. so either way relentless could be right about seeing WW4 in it's embryonic stage.

It's a set up for 2017.

I have state numerous times (not here) that the bammy/whoever transition is exactly the same as the Clinton/Bush transition.

2016 will see a "Strong" foriegn policy guy being elected and the result will be war that has been set up from the current idiot in charge.

"Yesterday, in a vote that largely slid under the radar, the House of Representatives passed a resolution urging Obama to send lethal aid to Ukraine, providing offensive, not just "defensive" weapons to the Ukraine army - the same insolvent, hyperinflating Ukraine which, with a Caa3/CC credit rating, last week started preparations to issue sovereign debt with a US guarantee, in essence making it a part of the United States (something the US previously did as a favor to Egypt before the Muslim Brotherhood puppet regime was swept from power by the local army).

The resolution passed with broad bipartisan support by a count of 348 to 48.

According to DW, the measure urges Obama to provide Ukraine with "lethal defensive weapon systems" that would better enable Ukraine to defend its territory from "the unprovoked and continuing aggression of the Russian Federation."

"Policy like this should not be partisan," said House Democrat Eliot Engel, the lead sponsor of the resolution. "That is why we are rising today as Democrats and Republicans, really as Americans, to say enough is enough in Ukraine."

Engel, a New York Democrat, has decided that he knows better than Europe what is the best option for Ukraine's people - a Europe, and especially Germany, which has repeatedly said it rejects a push to give western arms to the Ukraine army, and warned that Russia under President Vladimir Putin has become "a clear threat to half century of American commitment to an investment in a Europe that is whole, free and at peace. A Europe where borders are not changed by force.""

I am sure Putin will back down. He does great against 3rd world countries. Every time he faces our equipment in the field operated by Americans there in is a new Russian junk yard created.

The days of the Russian overwhelming strength of ww11 are gone.

Posted by glassman on :

I'm not so sure Putin will back down. He may move slowly waiting for the inevitable shifts in American public opinion. Russia seeded the Ukraine with alot of ethnic Russians over the last 300 years. It really is family. The Crimea has been in Russian hands since the late 1700's. The eastrn part of Ukraine goint end up in Russias hadns. Americans aren't going to support fighting on Russia's border unless there is major terrorist attack and even then, there will be no public opinion to suppport long term occupation.

Posted by raybond on :

If the Americans choose to fight for what ever the reason. As all of us know it would take one hell of a sales job to get to that point. Look what it took for us to get going in ww11.

If we decide to go I would hate to be a Russian soldier in a tank.

If we go to war with Russia, I assure you there will be little left.

The US will need to go nuclear fairly quick as Russia's military tech is far better than ours.

I know that doesn't jive with what we are told, but if you have the wit to research it you will soon see their fighter jets out gun our by... A lot. Their missile tech is far more advanced than ours. As important as any of that is, their electronic warfare capabilities were enough to send an aircraft carrier of ours running from the black sea last year.

russia's military tech is better than ours?

hmmmmmmmm..... dude, i don't think it's even close.

people won't like this, but we hold back when we are fightng with cavemen.

Fighitng Russia? first thing we'll do is take ou their GLONASS constelation and they'll be blind as cave fish. From there it's not far to sending them back into their borders. beleive me we'll pay for it, but i bet that NSA can shut down all their computers in a few hours and probably use them against them when they finally reboot- see STUXNET. That was only a proof of concept test. it works. and it works well. programming weps ssytems is mistake. they all have to be standalone and they aren't

the thing about he American war machine? we don't pay all this money to contractos to spin pencils and watch porn all day at work. we have soem serious devious chit.
Drones? our tech is way older and way more advanced than the general public has been allowed to beleive.

it is EXPRESSLY FORBIDDEN by the Montreux Convention, whihc goes further to restrict any naval War vessels from stayig more than 21 days on the Black see unless they own ocean front there, we don't.
There was a destroyer doing ops over there that was buzzed by soviet aircraft- 12 supersoniic flybys at 500 feet. bet the Fire control guys had to change their underwear after that watch. but the destoyer had already stayed over hte 21 days becuase they had 'supposedly" [Big Grin] run aground doing a "docking exersize" in Turkey... Naval battle is al about perceptions and creatint the ones you wnat your enemy to have. This grounding stuff is just one of thousands of 'wounded bird" strategies we employ all the time...

the russkies have not sent US running, and provided we actually declare war they won't. They can send us running with outrageous stunts to test us, but if we decide to pull the plug on them? it's pulled. Our GPS system is redundent and hardened to anythign other than direct physical assualt with satelite destroyer missiles. there's is barely capable to provide good data without being under assault by programmers. We have GPS chips in our howitzer shells that can handle 12,000 G's.... Thye are proven accurate to within 4 meters form 30 miles away in battle conditions. That's why thes e guys love fightng these little wars so much. They get to spend all their old munitions and order more newer and better and yes mor expensive one. But they get proven in near real world conditions...

Army Special Operations Command pushes back against alarmist claims about upcoming exercise

WASHINGTON — U.S. Army Special Operations Command is pushing back against alarmist claims that an upcoming U.S. military exercise is a preparation for imposing martial law or subduing right-leaning groups and individuals.

Conspiracy theories about the exercise, known as JADE HELM 15, appeared online this week. Some commentators railing against the event referred to an online slide show allegedly created by USASOC, which outlined a special operations exercise slated to take place across multiple states, outside the confines of U.S. military bases.

It has been somewhat glossed over since the news broke simply because most are focused on the plane crash and now very importantly on the Saudi war on Yemen.

I did read the story and my take is it is one more step towards openly declaring the American common folk as the enemy and open training against said foe.

For the last couple years we've seen growing hints at this open training over the skies in Miami and Houston with Military helicopters training with blank rounds at night. These training operations were very hush hush and were only talked about after the fact. What we are seeing now is a complete disregard for any concern that we might take offence to this sort of operation. They know damned well that popular idiot media has taken hold as it was always planned and we will do nothing.

Ohhh is Kim K wearing new shoes? I must know...

It's a lot closer than you think. In fact their currently deployed fighter jets smoke ours in every department.

Spend some time and read what real experts say about the F-22. Not just some gubment sponsored ra ra "Murica propaganda piece. Then for a true head vs table whackfest... Read about the F-35... Wow it's bad.

So air superiority is not going to work.. What next?

Missiles. Check the S-500 vs our tech.

Ok so we're not launching missiles at them either? Nope we are not. Go back to 2013 when Israel tested Syria's S-300's and failed... They called it an exercise... It was not and it was also KEY in Bammy backing down and looking like a retard compared to Putin.

We know the only way we can beat Russia is hopefully economical (Cue Saudis expanding oil production and plunging the cost of oil - Russia's budget is based on $100/bl oil) or nukes.. Which is why when we backed down in Syria we almost instantly sent in the Euromaiden nazis in Ukraine and tried to depose that government.

We must have the missile shield and the only hole left is Ukraine.

I just got home and am just too darn pooped to find the article but US ships are allowed in the Black Sea, but I remember reading about there being a time limit.

Anyways the story I was referring to was about a fighter jet buzzing one of our ships and shutting them the f down with jamming signals. Some of the articles were posted from dubious sources which left me initially doubting the entirety of the story. It was upon later reading that I found more credible sources leaving me to believe the original (parts of it anyways - nothing is 100% real in the news) story.

That destroyer was alone. It returned to th eBlack sea in Dec (the incident was in April, and we sent a cruiser with better E-warfare eqpt in within 60 days of the incident. Nothing else happened because you can get away with one outrageous stunt like that but the next time it would probbaly not work out so good.
Lots of rumors out there, and that's all they are. I've seen all kinds of stupid cliams lik eour people resigned? LOL.. sure thta's easy to do inte Navy just give 2 weeks notice...baahahhhhaaha...
You have our enemies propaganda and then you have party politics claiming Obama is weak. Fact is? We'd pay a very high price to send the Russkies back inside their borders but we'd be able to do it if we decided to. boot s on the ground at the Russian border? Not happening without a pearl Harbour type incident and Putin is noth that dumb. Sheesh Pearl was th esingle biggest screwup in world history- Invadin Iraq in '03 was numebr two...

Russia is only 1/10th as capable as we are to enforce it's miltiary decisions. Plain and simple.

Posted by glassman on :

at 1/10 our capability?
they are getting good deal for their money

Russia's national defense budget for next year (2015) will reach a record 3.3 trillion rubles ($81 billion), or 4.2 percent of the country's GDP, the head of the State Duma's defense committee, Admiral Vladimir Komoyedov, was quoted as saying by the Interfax news agency on Thursday.

Our military budget is 560 billion out of about 17 trillion...

granted we waste alot of moeny but he Russkies are no miserly either and the Russkies are not smarter or more capable. We do need to worry about Russia and China teaming up... That would be a serious issue.

Posted by glassman on :

BTW? the s-500 is not deployed yet, and may be deployed 2017. it has never been tested in real world action. We have lasers in that same situation. Tested but not deployed yet...

A tenth of our ability?

Lol, we didn't back down from the Syria debacle because of a tenth.

We aren't tip toeing around Iran because of a tenth.

In fact our strategy changed completely after the Libya idiocy. Why? Because Russia/Putin said that's it. Never again.

What does it mean if we alter a decades old strategy because of a simple warning from a country with a tenth of our military ability?

Well it means the folks claiming it's a tenth are wrong or lying.

What many don't understand (myself included for quite a while) is Russia's strategy is different from ours. Not inferior. They haven't developed any truly offensive abilities like we have. Why? Maybe because they aren't the ones conquering the globe. Like we are/have been.

The important facts to know are what is first in a military war?
Air power number 1 right?
Their fighter jets are better than ours as I eluded to earlier. (lol, ask the Australians what they think of the F-35) Yes we have greater numbers, but that hardly matters as we can't deploy them all at once.
What's second? Ground war?

Good efn luck. They're entrenched and much to everyone's surprise... The Ruskies, much like us, love their guns.

So we can't take them via the air and we surely can't invade.. So what's left?

Two things and both as Bammyesque weak.

Economical. We issue sanctions and collapse the price of oil. Woohoo! What did that accomplish?

Nothing but the threat of Russia initiating a chain reaction by them dumping in mass their $ holdings. Russia and the rest of the BRICS developing their own SWIFT system and excluding the US.. Yup that is happening... Right now as a matter of fact.

What's the last thing we could do in this Bammyesque weak approach...? Cyber attacks.

Laughable to consider either our ability or the notion it would be effective in doing anything but make everything worse.

The point is we need to back the hell off and do it now. Stop trying to coax Russia into firing a WWIV inducing shot.

I don't care what you say when it comes to Russia and china weather it is in the air or on the ground or on the sea Russia will go down if they screw with us. And they know it.

Your logic is just amazing first you call our president a coward and then you say we had better back off and we are trying to start a war.

As for most of there wonder weapons they only have a few prototypes in service and a few on public display, to show the people what the state has to offer for the future. Who the Russians better watch out for is there own moron Putin before he get them involved with a real mess that will lead to his down fall.

I admit I was wrong in my perception of your wit.

If you actually get someone to read, to you, what it is that I have said they can explain to you that I do not hate my country. Quite the opposite. Our government is leading a charge to WWIV. That war will likely kill most of us, or at least a very large number.

So buck up little fella... it's ok.

I agree with you about Russia ray.
I would NOT go so far as to lump them in with the Chinese tho.
We have given over too much manufacturing capabiltiy to China and we COULD pay for that in ht elong run.

In specific repsonse to relentless?
1) the fisrst step in a REAL war is to collapse the comm systems.

on 9-11, I went to the bank fisrt as soon as i realised there was more than one plane. I did not sit and watch TV i wnet and got alot of cash in small bill. I did this because i knew that if 9-11 was a true act of war that teh internet would be down by the end of the day. The banks were all using it by then. When we pull the plug on China or Russia? It will stay pulled. We released our technology to them for very specific reasons. Alot of people didn't like it, but China is built on Microsoft and they stole it in a wholesale fashion and we let them do it because it's a trojan horse. China and Russia both have good hacker-warriors, but they are all using our designs.
Russia is not in our league relentless. Whne i was in the fleet? We were not worried at all about the Russian surface fleet, and we still aren't. We were more worried on a one-to-one basis of India's ships than we were of the Soviets. The soviets were lazy slobs, and hteir boats in general barely functioned. Most people don't know htis but weps systems do not function when they are not cycled in drills regularly. There aee so many "gremlins" in the systmes that if you are not constantly cycling the system, they take over. The Indians were dedicated to drills in way thatat weven wwere not.
The soviets had a (as we do) doomsday device in the sheer number of nukes in subs and on land that they could deliver. That's their real threat to US- the doomsday strategy, not strategic geo/land acquisition. We went around the moon in orer to prove to them that we could launch doomsday to come back in a week even if they did get fiirst strike. Our subs were also capable of evading them and doing the same thing. We have redundancy in all of our systems. They do not.

It won't be easy or cheap to force them back out of the Ukraine, the Russkies are not to be trifled with, but it would take a massive screwup on our part to lose any full-on conflict them. Why the hell would we do it though? I'll repeatthe Crimea is Russian has been for centuries now. Forget it. It's just a political play-toy for our people here.

We are strecthed too thin. Bush's invasion of Iraq was literally the second biggest military blunder in wolrd history, but we have replaced all that ordinance.

The Japanese and the Germans both had better weapon systems than we did in 1940. The Germans built the finest eqpt. the world had ever seen. We beat them with cheap ass tanks and cheap ass rifles that we mass produced. My point is that you sound to me like you are reading directly form the arms merchants advertising sheets (propagnada). We went tot teh F35 because we can build so many more of them. The F22 when iti s working right (thatexpensive) is a 144 to one killing machine in wargame scenarios. The F35 gets you more kills per dollar than the F22 raptor. That's why we are swithching. You actaully hear about he problems because we hide the problems LESS than the Russkies or the Chinese. They have just many problem in their crap as we do, and they have way less ability to produce them and way fewer of them....

Posted by Relentless. on :

The notion that the F-35 is a great plane and better than the F-22 is hilarious considering the vast amount of information to the contrary. Ask the Australians what they think about it. lol, ask India who just declined it in favor of Russian made fighters.

This stuff isn't even arguable.

If we weren't afraid of their tech then why the hell did we back down in Syria over a year ago? There was only 6 Russian warships between us and them... We had more than that. If Russia is the easy push-over you two thinks she is then why did we back down?

Not the mention the fact that it would be logistically impossible for us to devote enough troops or mech to any direct with Russia which would happen IN RUSSIA... How could we transport it? All of it I mean. Impossible.

In any conflict between us and them it would be fought in Russia. So how could we possibly do it? We can't.

Which leads back to one of my initial points that the conflict would soon go nuke, because that's the only chance we have at winning.

The real point of all of this is not who would win. It's why is the conflict being instigated?

There should be a keen and ongoing review of the events in that country. It is one of a few possible WWIV starters. An honest conversation about it and eventually a resolution about our government's actions and any possible solutions to prevent this from happening in the future.

I didn't say the F35 was better than the F22 i said you get more kills per dollar with it...
The F22 is very expensive to maintain.

The point i was making is that we took the nazis out with POS carbines and tanks. The Nazi's were overwhelmed with our cheap mass produced junk.

As to "Russian Quality" LOL that's a joke. The Indians are not so happy with their purchase... You can find articles about heir complainig all over the internet. The Russians are hrroible about qualtiy control. The USA is not very good but we are much better than they are...

We will use drones for attack more than manned aircraft within the next ten years or so.... We are already landing full scale drones on carriers.

DARPA is developing in-flight refueling using drone to deliver and recieve fuel...

As I stated. The discussion is not about they can kill us vs we can kill them.

The discussion is awareness of the situation.

I have allowed it to devolve and for that I can only offer my apologies.

Back on topic.

The CIA instigated a coup in Ukraine to establish the last remaining bit of the "First strike" enabling missile shield.

We as good and aware folk need to be aware of this. We need to know the consequences and we need to talk about what we can do to keep it from ever happening again.

Ok, i stand corrected. I meant it sarcastically. The thing is that it's the men that insist on a demonstration of willingness to exersize power. If she doesn't do it, they'll try to push her around until she does. The longer she puts off a a flexing of muscle, the more muscle she'll have to flex when she is finally forced to. I don't like it, but you can't ignore it either. The Waco incident was not started by U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno, but it's ending was most defintitely not a good one for anybody becuase she had to prove that a woman can be a tough leader. It isn't Women's fault that they have to do the dance backward and in high-heel shoes just to prove they are equals.

Obama had to run the opposite tack becuse of the angry/dangerous African Americna Male stereotype. he could never allow himself to appear to be aggressive in any way, or they would have pounced all over him. That approach left him open to being accused of weaknesss. He handled it very well.

I personally respect both Hillary and Bill's intellect, but i thnk both of them are power-hungry megalomaniacs who will do whatever they think is best for therest of us whether we like it or not. And that's not Democratic, that's fanaticism.

War with Russia has to do with shear numbers on the Russian side and the willingness of her soldiers to die like flies to achieve victory. We can win battles take land witch we will. But that don't beat mother Russia. Ask the Germans and before them the French. They won the battles but lost the war.

U.S. to Deploy Paratroopers to Ukraine

By MONEY MORNING STAFF REPORTS - ‎3‎/‎31‎/‎2015

This is a quickly developing story.

Tensions between the United States and Russia may be on the brink of chaos.

As a result of negotiations between Vice President Joe Biden and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, the White House will be deploying 290 U.S. paratroopers into the volatile Ukraine region next month.

This is in retaliation to Russia's recent tactics, which include conducting live fire drills on tdohe Russian/Ukraine border, as well as breaching the no-fly zone that has been enacted.

And unfortunately, we may be inching closer to a "worst case scenario."

Russian Analyst Calls For Nuclear Attack on Yellowstone National Park
"The consequences will be catastrophic for the United States"
Russian Analyst Calls For Nuclear Attack on Yellowstone National Park

by Paul Joseph Watson | March 31, 2015

Russian geopolitical analyst Konstantin Sivkov has called for Moscow to launch a nuclear attack on Yellowstone National Park and the San Andreas fault line, noting that the devastating consequences would ‘disappear’ the United States as a country.

Sivkov made the comments in a piece for Russian trade newspaper VPK News, which were translated by the Sydney Morning Herald.

Arguing that NATO aggression against Russia required the “complete destruction of the enemy,” Sivkov went on to depict a chilling scenario.

So a discussion between the two dumbest morons on all the world stage has resulted in a sure fire way to get Russia even more upset?

Mind you I'm including the colossally stupid Kardashions in my description of the "world stage"... just for reference.

As I stated previously: Our government is directly involved in provoking a direct war with Russia... on their soil.

Saw that.. Holy crap stupid. This guy should be doing interviews on E!, level stupid.

Yes lets nuke a long since dormant volcano in the hopes it erupts.. The moron spends far too much time reading the witless comments of fear mongering conspiracy idiots than he does researching the facts which prove yellowstone will never erupt again... Bombed or not.

Also bombing a fault line will do nothing as the percussion wave will A- never reach the depths required to unsettle said fault line, but B- Never be powerful enough to cause a slip between the two opposing plates.

Just goes to show that we and the Ruskies have more in common than we think.
