Well I voted early today. Guess who I voted for? Romney/Ryan! Yeah, I flipped and I flopped but in the end it was for the best. I believe Romney is the lessor of two evils here. Should Romney win you are going to see a ton of idiots turning into hooligans. We are seeing signs of it already on Twitter feeds.

I promise you will see constant racism remarks, and fraud, and all this.

Anyone else vote yet?

There might be many reasons one would vote for one canidate or the other or none.

But how do you know he is the lessor of two evils, he has never been President.

To me that seems like more of an excuse to justify your voting, which you have every right to do, but you would not convince me to vote for him for that reason.

I would rather know what he is going to do to make things better and something in his political history that would indicate he will follow through.

Who do you think is better equipped to manage complex economic situations? A CEO and governor, or a lawyer and community organizer?

I think he sums it up.

Hopefully were wrong about the President helping the economy in the next 4 years, no matter who wins.

If i were a betting man i would choose Obama, the guy in office usually has a better chance of being elected, no matter what he does.

But who knows, wonder who the oddsmakers pick in Vegas?

Sure are a lot of threads about the same thing.

cash Obama won in '08 because of Bush Cheney and Rove. the only reason that romeny even stands a cahnce in this is because people eiterh don't understand or know how bad things were in Dec 08, don't care if it gets that bad again or just can't remember....

as to Obama beating Hillary? well that's because people even democrats somehow just couldn't stomach the idea that the same two families being in charge for three decades...

considering how bad th eeconomy is rightnow and without looking at history? anybody who can't beat the president by 5% is lame anyway.

Cash...voting for the lesser of 2 evils?!!..Thats insane!..You have 2 evil people, but one is a little less evil than the other so you vote for him? why would you want anyone evil in the white house? vote for someone who isn't evil for godssake. Jill Stein seems good. Or write in someone you respect. But to vote for an evil person as president makes no sense....oh, we all knew who u were voting for...and no one gives a rats azz.

don't care "who" you vote for but why u vote. you don't have clue. I cant seem to wrap my head around it. You spout all the time about how u care about such and such. Obama is bad ..blah,blah..romney is good. wont vote for romney, then u do.. ..then u call romney evil, but u vote to put him in the white house. U intentionally want an evil man to lead this country...thats what i find disgusting. I happen to think he's a despicable human being too and wouldn't give him the time of day and yet u vote for him. WHY? why vote at all if u haven't a clue? Thats what i care about...and what is wrong with this country.. uninformed, stupid ppl voting! But u said u flipped flopped, and that is romneys forte...so i guess it makes sense. folks like u should sit back, do your job and stfu. Yes, we all knew u would vote for whoever the gop put up there..cuz it didn't matter to u who they put up..u were gonna vote the straight ticket no matter what. no thought whatsoever,,you are a tool...and tools are made to do your menial job and stfu.

uninformed, stupid ppl voting!

welcome to democracy... the solution to that problem is Dictatorship/Emperors/Royals/ etc genetically selected over hundreds of generations and or genetically manipulated thru modern technocolgy to be able to perform the job flawlessly with ONLY the best interests of the preservation of the species in mind..

you getting my drift? it's not even that you are wrong or right- there is no right answer-

right now? House Ch'in is taking over the world using Communistic rule and ideals while applying a few (meaningless) Captialistic principles and our greedy ass leaders here are selling them the power one percentage point at a time...

while i'm on the subject of how poorly Democracy would really perform if it were fully enacted/ could you imagine if we allowed everyone to propose, write adn vote on laws using the internet? LOL... it would be a complete nightmare....

Nate Silver to Joe Scarborough: Wanna Bet?

Nate Silver to Joe Scarborough: Wanna Bet?Enlarge Photo

Nate Silver to Joe Scarborough: …

Political polling guru Nate Silver is so confident in his statistical models that he just offered to bet MSNBC's Joe Scarborough $1,000 that Barack Obama will win re-election. Scarborough, you may recall, criticized Silver's math earlier this week, saying that "Anybody that thinks that this race is anything but a tossup right now is such an ideologue ... they're jokes." He was specifically talking about Silver's FiveThirtyEight website, which shows Mitt Romney with just a 1-in-4 chance of becoming president.

RELATED: FiveThirtyEight Says Obama Is in Command ... For Now

Silver has spent the week firing back, criticizing political pundits for not understanding how odds and probability work and aggressively defending his method against critics. As the week has progressed, his model has only shown Obama's chances of winning increasing, which has not coincidentally increased Silver's confidence in the outcome. (As of this morning, Five Thirty Eight gives Obama a 79 percent chance of winning, with a final Electoral College total over 300.)

RELATED: People Who Can't Do Math Are So Mad At Nate Silver

The back-and-forth swipes all came to head today with this tweet, with Silver offering a friendly $1,000 wager on Tuesday's result, with the winnings going to charity.

personally i am going to close my eyes and pin the tail on the azzhole while i'm in the booth...

why bother you say? cuz numbers matter and if people don't vote? thent hey'll ignore us even more NEXT TIME, and it doesn't matter in htis election. My electroal college representative will vote for Romnesia... that's a dundeel.... i can move to a state where my vote will count by moving to a swing state, that's not much of a choice but it's appealing..

I haven't voted in quite a few years because IMO its a rigged game....the elitists pick which candidates they want for both parties. They then con the masses into believing that they have a voice in who gets elected by giving them the right to vote.
In the end it doesn't matter which candidate wins because they are both owned by the elitists.

I promised myself that I wouldn't be a part of the con anymore but I have decided to break that promise and vote this year.

I will be voting for Obama...

Not because I believe he is good for this country or even that he is the lessor of two evils...

I will be voting for Obama simply to nullify CCM's vote for Mitt Gumby...

As soon as I leave the voting booth, I am going to head straight to my nearest gun store and purchase as much ammo as I can get my hands on...

here's the swingstates i gave Obama for the tie Ohio, Mich. (that may be worng) Penn, Wisconsin. Thats all i gave him cashcowmoo... I gave Romney the whole west that is swing, adn the whole south including FLA....
think i was too generous?
i know my MS elctorla college votes go to Rommel so i am voting third party here.. I know i said i would vote for Obama but i don't want to just cuz... so oddly enough cashcow, you didn't vote ethird party and voted for Romel instead, Buck voted for Obama who i sad i was going to vote for and and i am voting third party ( i guess Johnson) who you said you would vote for.. i think it's all coming out in the wash right?

i wish i could vote for Ron paul again like i did in the primary
Jim Cramer has it 440 to 98 for Obama, he should stick to stocks, he's less worng there...i couldn't find anywy for him to get that....

all the swign states, Texas, Missourri and Arkansas would have to go Obama mjust to get to 401 and the other 39 would trigger a major inquiry itno vot counting.. Missourri? Arkansas? that would be shocking but Texas goes Obama and i'll be even more shocked.

Did you also believe Bill Clinton when he looked into the camera and said he did not have sexual relations with Monica? When you voted for Obama, did you really think the deficit was going to be cut in half in 4 years only to soon find out that Obama kept the Patriot Act formed under Bush and kept GITMO open?

closer than tie? even tho i have come across here as a democrat suppporter for years? i have historically voted GOP in ratio of 6 to 2.. the two times i voted dem were becuase of the war in Iraq alone.....
as i get older? i realise that i want to vote against all incumbents because they have doen such crappy job. i wanted t vote for romney, i could have voted for the Romeny that became Governor of mass and been proud to say i supported such a GOP... i find the romney of today to be a cheap panderer... Obama? no mater whether youlike him or not? you have to admit that he actaully stands FOR something and has worked to acheive what he stands for... no, i do not agree with alot of what he stands for, but at least he isn't groveling for votes-

i mean this with all sincerity... considering how bad things are? Romney should be able to win with 5% margins, and ht efact that he canot get hose margins indicates more about him and his character than it does about about Obama at all...

Dems have a slight number lead in the US, GOP's look to control much more LAND than Dems, the red and blue maps are not a good indciator of how the coutnry really looks politically.

the criticisms of Obama by the GOP over the last three years have all been touchy feely BS. The real wrong things that Obama is guilty of doing are almost never mentioned, and that is because the GOP would do the exact same things he ahs done in his shoes...

Well this isnt looking good, but there are still a lot of votes left coming in. Indiana lost a Republican senator that really wasnt planned. Of course Todd Akin loses, and the funny thing is how many votes he still got. Ohio and Florida have me a little nervous.

What an awful night! Blah! Now we are going to dig in deep on Obama care for sure.

Posted by glassman on :

what exactly is worng with obama care cash?

i told you here before Obma got elected that even tho I do NOT want govt health care, that it will make US employer more competitive on the world market... and it will... i want to be able to buy my own which will defintiley be better, but we need poor people to have a basic health care system...

the lies they told about obamcare didn;t work..

also remebr it was Romenycare before it obamcare, and Romeny siad it was Conservitiv principle that made him do it. people shuld be forced to pay their own wa.. in otehr words buy insuracne or pay a fine (tax? whatever)

i am really enjoying watching rove trying to find a way to win after he lost... Obama doesnt even need Ohio anymore, carl go home and get drunk..

Obam doesnt need florida or ohio if gets Colorado... i think maybe a iwant to move to Clorado now if they legalise pot.. not because i want to smokee it (i don;t care for it) but becausee ican legally make bongs that cost 1000$ and people will pay that for a bong when they won;t pay it for a vase that is just as good... go figure ...

It was not put together the right way. It took bribes to pass it, and was concocted without transparency. You need lawyers to read that thing. Passing bills without even reading them. What does that tell you? The ends justify the means when nobody truly knows how the ends will turn out?

I do know something has to be done. I would have a lot of respect for Obama if he said they would revisit the bill and fix what they find to be bad parts of it.

Too bad Romney had to play the conservative side. I wonder if hard right types tipped the win to Obama because I know there were still some who really had an issue for voting for Romney. He is not a conservative so when he went out there trying to pretend like he was..it was really shaky and hard to watch sometimes.

Most of the people I know who voted for Obama all said the same thing...that they did not know any details of what Romney would do once in.

The DOW is down 331 points right now. Might close fine, but its noticeable. Obama needs to have a bill that goes ahead and lets the tax levels return to Clinton era, and at the same time shuts down all the loopholes that make sense.

Todd Akin in Missouri should be ashamed of himself for staying in the race and ensuring a loss after his public comments.

I am not a Tea Party type, but never trashed them like many do. I do think they need to bring some moderation and the left needs to compromise on their side too.

Good by Romney you pos.

And no cash the right has not tipped to Obama he does not need them or want them. They will just go back to there game of obstruction and be hated all the more for it.

what a weak puke the Romney ticket turned out to be. Both Romney and Ryan could not cary there home states or in Romney case his state of residence also.

No Question.

Congrats to the Obama supporters.

God bless America.

Weed should be legal everywhere. By far less harmful than alcohol....

My only fear for the country is the amount of enabling going on. No one learns from handouts and it only further strengthens the manipulation and control one has over another.

i can even add to that and say that the enabling has been institutionalised so deeply into the fabric of the agricultural economy that since the teaParty came to congress and blocked all earmarks that there is a major mess going on at USDA and within the agriculture community. i won't share details but i can tell you that the restructuring has been insane.

I do know something has to be done. I would have a lot of respect for Obama if he said they would revisit the bill and fix what they find to be bad parts of it.

and i agreed with you on that too cashcowmoo.. the REAL problem is that i cannot find a damn bill thathas passed thru congressw ithout the same crapola the healthcare bill had... that includes all bills like tax bills that allow people to put thiermoney in the Caymans or the deregualtions of elctricity that allowed Enron to make little old ladies freeze tehir butts off (JK) you know what i mena rihgt?

it was not and is not fair to blame Obma for Congress's BS. i don;t buy this "leadership" crap that we keep hearing from Bohner and McConel either.. sure Obma is differnt and he has chnaged the game entirley, but neither of those guys had any intention at all of allowing him to be able to claim success in anything, no matter that the the coutnry needs it..

that's the 'leeway" Obam told Putin he needs after the election... the GOP's in congress won't agree to anything Obama wants to do good- and bad? i doubt they'd even agree to give him the rope to hang himself they are so stubborn...

i respect stubborn people even when i disagree with htem, that's part of being Libertarian too.. heck i don't even punish my kids for being stubborn, i encourage them because it shows character... BUT whne you are being stubborn JUST to be stubborn? what's that saying about noses adn faces?

we are driving over the clif. the US as we have known it is History. Get used to the Govt printing alot of moeny....get used to seeing imports from China get more andmore expensive... gold and silver looks good and prefer silver cuz it's still too cheap anyway...

Why Allen West Lost: 16 Of His Worst Moments In Congress

By Scott Keyes on Nov 7, 2012 at 11:53 am

Rep. Allen West (R-FL), one of the most controversial Tea Party freshmen in Congress, lost his bid for re-election Tuesday night.

Despite moving to a new, more-Republican district (Florida’s 18th congressional district), West was edged by challenger Patrick Murphy (D) by 2,500 votes.

During his two-year tenure in Congress, West earned a reputation as not only one of the House’s most brash members, but also its top Islamophobe.

Here are 16 of the most contentious moments of his congressional career:

1. Progressives are “communists”: At a town hall meeting in April, West said that 80 House Democrats were “members of the Communist Party.” He later clarified that the 80 Democrats he was speaking about were those in the Progressive Caucus.

2. Opposed early voting as an “entitlement”: In an interview with ThinkProgress, West objected to early voting in Florida because “people see it as an entitlement.” He ultimately lost his seat, in part, because of high Democratic early voting turnout.

3. Said Obama’s campaign slogan had a “Marxist-Socialist” meaning: West found hidden meaning in Obama’s “Forward” slogan. “They want to bring out an old Soviet Union, Marxist-Socialist theme for their campaign called “Forward”.”

4. Obama’s DREAM initiative was a voter fraud conspiracy: Appearing on Fox News, West saw a more nefarious effort beneath Obama’s deferred action immigration policy. “Is this one of those backdoor opportunities to allow people in the next five months to get the opportunity to vote?” he asked.

5. Food stamps “enslave the American people”: West lamented the rise in available food stamps for Americans. “That’s not how you empower the American people,” West said. “That’s how you enslave the American people.”

6. Social Security enslaves the American people: Appearing on Fox News, West criticized Social Security disability benefits. “Once again we are creating the sense of economic dependence, which to me is a form of modern, 21st century slavery.”

7. Obama wants to enslave people: West argued at a campaign event that Obama “does not want you to have the self-esteem of getting up and earning and having that title of American. He’d rather you be his slave.”

8. Said Barney Frank should be in a “pink jumpsuit”: West criticized openly gay Rep. Barney Frank’s (D-MA) congressional tenure earlier this year. “[He's] a guy who for all practical purposes should be in a pink jumpsuit for what he did.”

9. Called undocumented immigration an “invasion”: In a newspaper interview, West likened undocumented immigrants to an enemy force. “You have to repel invasions,” West said.

10. Told congresswoman, “You are not a lady”: West blasted nearby congresswoman Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) after a dispute, scolding her in a letter, “You have proven repeatedly that you are not a Lady, therefore, shall not be afforded due respect from me!”

11. Called for censoring news outlets: After Wikileaks released thousands of pages of documents, West argued that “we also should be censoring American news agencies” who reported on the cables.

12. Obama supporters are a “threat to the gene pool: West wrote on a conservative website, “I must confess, when I see anyone with an Obama 2012 bumper sticker, I recognize them as a threat to the gene pool.”

13. Religious coexistence “would give away our country”: West blasted “Coexist” bumper stickers at a March 2011 town hall, saying people who have them represent “something that would give away our country, would give away who we are.”

14. Said Nazi leader would be “very proud” of Democrats: In December 2011, West told reporters that “If Joseph Goebbels was around, he’d be very proud of the Democrat party, because they have an incredible propaganda machine.”

15. Criticized rise of feminism: West told a conservative conference that liberal women “have been neutering American men and bringing us to the point of this incredible weakness — to let them know that we are not going to have our men become subservient.”

16. Told liberals to “get the hell out of the United States”: At a Republican dinner, West had harsh words for his Democratic counterparts. “Take your message of equality of achievement. … You can take it to Europe, you can take it to the bottom of the sea, you can take it to the North Pole, but get the hell out of the United States of America.”
