well, there are lunatic treehuggers too.. they blow things up, spike trees burn down research labs...
but fortunatley there just aren't very many of them...
in politics? there are some real nutjobs too, maybe more, but their numbers adn their impact are inflated by the professional "fundraisers" who need to make donors get emotionally involved enought to pay their paychecks to support their families...
some argue that's what global warming is about.. unfortunately, there aresome real underlying problems int e oil based economy, the most obviuos being that it wll end some day and mostly sooner rather than later in "geological" terms...

I think we know that...my point was CCM said something and I asked for quotes given that would prove his point. Ray gave quotes from Buchanan that shows Pats bigoted stance. CCM said some Liberals have deep sinister resentment towards republicans. I want to know who these ppl are and show me some data. . But thanks for you giving a shiit about me!

I do TO pull the arguments out when the Republicans are wrong. You just dont see it because you are looking for what you expect. Because I do not engage in Obama worship, some here think I never give him credit for doing something right. Do I lean Republican? Of course, did I vote for John McCain and Sarah Palin in 2008? Hell no. Did I vote for GW Bush for his second term? Hell no.
Just because the people in power who were voted in are jerks, does not mean you give up on everything like some here seem to do. The whole "everyone is screwed up and nothing will change" mentality. Some of you remind me exactly of the "why should i even vote, my vote doesnt count" crowd that seems to be spreading like a disease across this country.
More people turn out per capita in third world cesspools to vote under threat of death than we do here in the US. Roughly 50% of the population doesnt pay federal/state taxes either so go figure.

do you understnad? as a GOP you need to make sure teh GOP fixes its own rpoblems. that's why i raely take issue with Dems. becuase i understnad completley that i am not going to change their mind.
i am a Capitalist. but i am also smart enough to figger out that greed is not good, and Capitalists who want the "free hand" (laissez Faire) are not really aware of the American Founding Principles. The Founders Clearly made a system of chacks and balances between powers. That was because they knew the one free hand will be an Emperor and they didn't want that in business or politics.
