The big question is why do they need a large group of people to show up to get it right?

What safety issue did it pose?

Sometimes i wonder, don't these people have more important things to do than to bother a kid on his bicycle?

Why didn't his parents step in and take care of it?

I can't imagine this happening to my grandkids and me not being up in the districts face.

They better have a real good reason for stopping it, legal or other!

I bet this idiot school superintendent has no problem in taking veterans day off as a paid holiday...

If you are offended by the American flag and what it stands for, maybe it's time to pack up shop and head south...JMO

Tell that to the Los Angeles school district, and then to their state supreme court.

“Our Hispanic, you know, kids will, you know, bring their Mexican flags and they’ll display it, and then of course the kids would do the American flag situation, and it does cause kind of a racial tension which we don’t really want,” Parraz said. “We want them to appreciate the cultures.”

i think this country is swirling....

I was wondering if there might be some logical reason for not having him bring the flag.

Not that there should be, but if not bringing the flag somehow keeps the kid from being harmed, then to me you need to protect the kid first.

Then you need to take care of the problem in this case.

I assume they do the pledge to the flag, not my favorite idea, but still assume they do it.

Somewhere there must be a flag?

Will have to check to make sure, but I'm pretty sure Cali has done away with the pledge in their school system.

Offends the tender feelings of people there...

My Grandson's school still does it, but i am not sure that it is a requirement for all schools.

We are in So. Cal.

So if they do the pledge, how could you possibly think it is a threat, or if it is then you need to rethink what you do since it involves the flag, or take care of the problem.

Of course like so many other things, they don't really want to take care of the problem, they want side step it and just hope it goes away.

Sounds like the economy.
