Ohhhhhhhhh...you were talking about Bush...

I thought maybe Slinky got booted...

But, yeah, the long nightmare is over. I wonder if Bush understands the depths of the low regard in which he's now held? Somehow, I doubt it...

i believe he does, it's Cheney that has no clue...

It's pretty amazing that his pathetic life was portrayed as a successful cartoon.

I disagree: Cheney knows, but simply doesn't care. He's fine with a plush penthouse in the Mideast...or China...or Brazil...

or, Argentina? let's just say...devious

Now, ol' Dubya? He's made his bones, in his mind.

"Hey, I was Prezdent--what you got?"

Posted by glassman on :

hmmm... i suppose there is a distinction on Cheney..

how does somebody (honestly) work for the US Govt for his whole life, other than 5 years,
start out dirt poor, and end up with about 50 million$?

(that was before he even ran in '00)

OMG who was that woman reading that lame poem. It was so awkward to watch I had to turn the TV off. Obama had a good speech, and I think she was the one who came up after him. That poem was really really weird and not moving at all.

Well, he says he's goin ta Dallas, a town with more than a mild sprinklin of idiots, includ'n J. Jones o' Are-kan-sas flavorin, whose brainlessness will clearly keep dubya's in deep shadow, so, considerin dubya's ego, it may be that the ex-prez will do what he has always done and actually stay home in some of the various New England family estates and jest claim he's a Texan.

We got our fingers crossed.

The poet? How about that idiot that gave that benediction (or whatever it was supposed to be)?

"we ask you to help us work for that day when black will not be asked to get in back, when brown can stick around ... when yellow will be mellow ... when the red man can get ahead, man; and when white will embrace what is right."

What century is that idiot living in? Doesn't he know that Barack Obama was not asked to "get in back"? Maybe he slept through the part where Obama was inaugurated as President!!! The left just can't get over it! I wonder if Bdgee really wrote that gibberish?

yes...that was a pretty dumb thing to say...but really, pms, cant you ever just say something without your political slurs?..

no humor, at all, in your soul...do you have a soul?

Bush's presidency was screwed up the day he selected Dick Cheney as his running mate. Cheney imo was a big liability. The only reason Bush was elected a second time was because the dems decided to find the worst possible candidate to run against him. I'm sick of both parties and there are a bunch I would like to see go away. All of the Kennedys, the whole Bush family (which, as you know are not going away), the Clintons, The three witches (Pelosi, Boxer, Feinstein), Reid, Conyers, Cheney, Giuliani, Palin (unfortunately, I think this one is going to come back some how), McCain, and this list goes on and on.

Posted by wholesaledealer on :

rhwdetroit,
I agree with everthing you said except for Palin. I wish we had someone like her running the country. There would be an end to all crap the goes on in Washington!!

Eight years of the country going backwards and today I already see people with new hope wrote on there face.

The slug has left the rose bush and fell into the fertilizer where he belongs and will soon be part or it for good. And pray you to God that is the last we see of a Bush in political life. What a disgusting disfunctional family.

George will leave with a 75% approval rating. Yes, 75% of the American public will approve of his leaving the White House.

Posted by jordanreed on :

including him and his family...

but wait!...isnt there another one ready to emerge?

yay ! bring on the hope..

This could be said about a lot of families in politics. The Kennedys are far worse! The Clintons? And you know as well as everyone else here that the Bush's are not going away. Obama may turn out to be a good president in the media but he is not going to stop this whole "new world order." He will probably further it through NAFTA. He will further it through the UN. He has to or he will not make another term. Neither the dems or pubs, both of which support Bush, Reagan, and Clinton's NWO will allow it. The ultimate goal of our government (this came from Bush I's very own mouth) is to have the UN as a world government (you know it will be run by a small group of very wealthy people from only a handful of nations). A world economy? What happened when US banks failed? Clinton furthered Bush I's plan. Bush II furthered this plan. The UN, US, China, Great Britain, and Russia already "police" the world now.

The "UN" is a joke!!! & what the hell does Russia & China do for this world???

Russia supplies about half of Europes energy needs.. they are the number one oil supplier in the world.

China is the number one labor supplier...

we are the number one intellectual property generator, strong arm and financial services provider.

We could say the same if the govenrment took control of everything!!!

Posted by bdgee on :

In spite of the exuberance of conspiracy theories, there is no actual evidence of any real effort to form any sort of an all controlling government, of this country or the world. (Dubya may have had such dreams, but he failed. No one with sense attributes sense or intellegence to whatever dubya dreams.)

If either a world government or absolute control of the U.S. were were even feasible, such conspiracy theories belong in the same bucket with little green men from Mars and polite conversation, with Sasquatch, about formal evening dress while attending an afternoon tea party in Boston.

we could never say the same as Russia and China.

We can't produce enough oil for our own needs let alone half of europe to.

And how are we going to supply the largest labor force in the world with just under 300 million people.

Here are some interesting videos. My favorite is Bush I's little speech. We all know Bush II's quest to continue for daddy.

"...and it's a phrase I often used myself, that we needed a new world order."

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvEqg_UlGaA&feature=related

"No one nation, no matter how large or powerful, can defeat such challenges alone."

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0lsltxgrr_o&feature=related

"There will be no peace in the world unless the international community stands united."

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VkpHmjgg7xU&feature=related

"When we are successful, and we will be!" Is my favorite line out of all of these clips

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_CWBTL33MpA&NR=1

"...I have made a very strong suggestion that we need not be in the United Nations..."

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z8DpKKSmaa8

There are plenty of videos from plenty of politicians addressing this. These were just my favorites with my favorite quotes from each one.

actually bdgee? they don't want a world Government so much as they want the ability to manipulate the world's govts.

another World Govt might get out of their control...

That makes some sort of skewed sense, glass..., particularly of you list under the title "they" such names GM, Microsoft, IG Farben, Carlyle Group, etc.
