He was a wonderful actor and a great humanitarian. He will be greatly missed. I always loved his his role in "Cool hand Luke", among countless others. RIP.

I often wonder when a person quits doing something he really loves to do and dies not long after, he sure loved car racing but quit it not to long ago.

I just watched that again only a few weeks ago, when I still was not getting around very good.
What a movie, what performances...Newman, Scott, Gleason...good, good stuff

I wanted to quote a different part of the movie but couldn't find it... it was at the end when he's telling Bert that Bert is dead inside and about character etc... that was the best lines in the movie from Paul... I always wanted the poster of Jackie Gleason taking a shot on the pool table from that movie... To me thats the classic picture from the movie but Paul's lines were the classic lines... another movie he was great in but was underrated was The Verdict...
