Looks like the news on Edwards came out a year too late.
Bubba woulda won Iowa and who knows how many other states if Edwards coulda kept slick willy jr. in his pants.

I think we're all screwed no matter who we elect, thanks to Congress and Bush combined.

Just another Bill Clinton. What makes Edwards so bad is his wife has cancer! what sort of sick individual does that when their wife is dying and they go around the country trying to make people think he has strong family values? this is worse than anything guiliani did!

well, McCain divorced his wife too... By Bill Muller The Arizona Republic June 05, 1999 12:12:00 The marriage had been strained by his years of absence, along with McCain's admitted affairs after returning from Vietnam.
In February 1980, less than a year after he met Cindy, McCain petitioned a Florida court to dissolve his marriage to Carol, calling the union ''irretrievably broken.'' Bud Day, a lawyer and fellow POW, handled the case.
''I thought things were going fairly well, and then it just came apart,'' Day recalls. ''That happened to quite a few. . . . I don't fault (Carol), and I don't really fault John, either.''
In the divorce settlement, McCain was generous with Carol, the mother of their daughter Sydney and two other children, whom McCain had adopted. Among other things, McCain gave Carol the rights to houses in Florida and Virginia, and agreed to pay her medical bills for life.
Except for signing the property settlement, Carol did not participate in the divorce. A court summons and other paperwork sent to her during the proceeding went unanswered.
In April, the judge entered a default judgment and declared the marriage dissolved.
A month later, McCain married Cindy in Phoenix, and they moved there.
How fortunate could one man be? Here was McCain, who had his eye on Congress, meeting a young, attractive beer heiress from Arizona, which was adding a congressional district in 1982.
McCain recalls that both he and Cindy fudged their ages at first. McCain made himself a little younger and Cindy made herself a little older. They found out their real ages when the local paper published them. McCain was 43, Cindy 25.
Newt Gingrich has been married three times. He married Jackie Battley, his former high school geometry teacher, when he was 19 years old (she was seven years his senior at 26 years old).[6][7] After an alleged affair in 1977 with Ann Manning, then the wife of a West Georgia professor, he sought a divorce from Battley. That was finalized in 1981. Gingrich refused to pay both alimony and child support. The local First Baptist church took up collections for support of Jackie and their children.[8] In 1981, Gingrich wed Marianne Ginther,[9] to whom he remained married until 2000, the same year Gingrich had an affair with a then 33-year-old Congressional staffer, Callista Bisek. Yeah, you'd think when he got the word that his wife had cancer, he'd at least have the decency to move in with his girl friend and send the process servers to his wife's sick bed with divorce papers, like a man of honor and discipline an fortitude.
