Nope you guys aren't art connisseurs... though this painting is not my cup of tea it is at least a realist painting unlike the crap I have seen in MOMA (Museum of Modern Art) that looks like nothing... they even had a canvas painted all black up on their walls and calling that art... here's their website: www.moma.org . But anyways if I were a rich collector my own tastes are in French Impressionism ala Monet and Renoir...

I like it (Escher)... looks like Surrealism ala Salvador Dali? ... But I don't know if I would pay 35MM for Escher if i had it... but for a admirer of his work such as yourself i can see why... I also like the background music of Snakes Youtube clip...

Georgia O'keefe my fav, simple, understated, great interpretation of light.

And the etchings of Felix Buhot, not very well known but great detail work.

i haven't priced any original Escher prints in along time. i don't think they'd be in th e30 million$ range, but i could be wrong.

he went undiscovered for a long time and his prints were bought and collected very inexpensively. some may still show up now and then priced low "by accident", but his work has been in so many calendars etc, that it would be recognisable. knowing that you are looking at an original would be the real trick.

i just like the work. always did since the first time i looked at it.
