I dunno I like his 2nd amendment views. I know I dont want Guliani winning. Hillary...BLAH, Obama...needs more time.

I like Ron Paul too.

yeah, budge, why you bringing that up now? i've given up on the GOP for now, but i'm not switching my party either, i'm gonna be patient and try to work on making it better. maybe Ron Paul will bring us out the "Great GOP Depression" we are about to experience. Even if he doesn't get the nod? he's making all the points that really matter IMO, and i don't agree with everything he says he wants to do, but heck, i never completely agree with anybody...

i am ready to begin making my cases for the 2nd ammendment if need be, but IMO? that's a fight i have more control over than domestic wiretapping etc.

Well, I know that taking disarming the people isnt a good idea, so why do some democrats want that so bad?

bdgee,

I'm sure that you are one of those "secular progressives", i.e. athiests, who don't believe in God or the bible, but what Huckabee said is straight out of the bible and is 100% right.

I haven't "given up" on the republican party, but have decided that until it removes from itself every vestige of the element that presently dominates and dictates control, I am dedicated to do whatever is possible to remove any republican and to point out that Party interest have become little more than an attack on the Constitution and an alter ego for huge corporations, i,e., it is an anti-American fascist propaganda machine, eagerly trying to destroy what is basic Americanism.

Why do I bring up Huckaby's insistence that woman are supposed to be subservient, with his participation in the Baptist interest in dictating political positions to the republicans? Because it illustrates that the republican party sentiment is once again championing that crap and championing government by religious decree, contrary to the Constitution's directives and intent.

"Well, I know that taking disarming the people isnt a good idea, so why do some democrats want that so bad?"

About an equal percentage of republicans also so advocate that, most often from heavily populated areas of the east or west coastal areas. The notion that it is "democratic" comes solely from dishonest republican propaganda, I suggest you look closely into the past declarations of the current republican presidential candidates to discover the facts.

Other candidates have supported banning assault weapons. When the federal ban on assault weapons expired in 2004, I said, "May it rest in peace." It won't be returning in the Huckabee Administration.

Zealously protecting your Second Amendment rights is another way that I will lift all law-abiding Americans up, by consistently championing your right to defend yourself.

This is Huckabee's 2nd amendment position, right off his website. Looks good to me.

Propertymanager,

It's time for you to launch into a chorus of "Everything Bush Does is Dandy".

bdgee,

I think you're one post behind. We're talking about Huckabee now.

HA!

Any man who believes that his wife "graciously submits" is fooling themselves.

They may downcast their eyes and say "yes sir"...I've seen that before (grew up baptist)... but I promise you, their ain't nothing gracious going on behind those downcast eyes.

It's a mild form of custom that has its roots buried in the same traditions of the habjib, footbinding, female circumcision, and other forms of diminishing the woman to make her more pliant.

Ok, along with the chorus from "Everything Bush Does is Dandy", you can give us a rendition of "Christianity Uber Alles", whipped out in an unmistakable mimic of Huckaby's twang, followed by that wonderful RNC chant of "It Ain't Flop-Floppin If It Ain't Kerry Doing it".
