Here we are a mere six years from the historic 9/11. At this point it is pretty obvious that the American government was behind the whole thing. These are givens. The question I have lingering in my brain is what's next and where. Americans are becoming quite unconcerned with "terrorism"... Therefore the government must again get us interested before they can pass further legislation and invade Iran and Venezuela. Since another hijacked plane wouldn't provide enough flair and it would also make the government look inept I doubt that will be tried again. I'm thinking either dirty bomb or small nuke. But where and when? They are going to need a bigger body count than 9/11... maybe ten to fifty thousand of us this time... New Orleans maybe? What's your wager?

The Bush administration has chosen to move against the Revolutionary Guard Corps because of what U.S. officials have described as its growing involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan as well as its support for extremists
I'm not sure they have the support they need. After the Iraq debacle they can't just rush into the next country yelling terrorism.

They had a documentary on the history channel last night. It had the creator of loose change on, who just so happens to be an 18 year old kid. They had guys debunking the loose change. One thing I learned last night loose change (second edition) is going to be redone AGAIN with alot of debunked material taken out. For example the controlled demolitiona and the flight cellphone calls.

i hear alot of high school and college age kids that believe the conspiracy theories..
i enjoy conspiracy theories, but IMO "THE GOVT" didn't do this...
there are some seriously guilty people at very high levels, but they aren't guilty of setting this up...
they are guilty of being stupid, and they are guilty of participating in ignorant "turf wars" between agencies...
they are guilty of not finishing the jobs they start, like Afghanistan after the Russkies left, and Afghanistan AGAIN after we took it from the Taliban...
does that mean that whoever is in the white house won't move to consolidate as much power as they can get away with? no...
is Bush defending the constitution? hell no...

Some people are having trouble coming to terms witf the fact that the worlds SUPER-POWER wasnt so super that day. I think its to the degree where they have convinced themselves "Only US coulda pulled that off"

Maybe people would not be so quick to believe these conspiracy theories if Bush and company had been a little more open about 9/11. As I recall, the Bush administration fought against the 9/11 commission for a long time. this commission should have been formed on 9/12. Only after a strong public outcry for an investigating committee, did Bush do a "flip-flop" and agree to the committee. Then, he said that neither Cheney nor himself would testify in front of the committee. Then, after finally agreeing to testify, he would not do it under oath and only if Cheney was by his side. Actions like this lead the public to be a little suspicious and fuel conspiracy theories. I personally don't believe these conspiracies, but Bush does leave the door wide open for speculation.

I watched the program last night on the history channel and I saw little if anything that was debunked. It's funny that the only people willing to show evidence is the conspiracy theorists. Government officials weren't heard from it was only outsiders with little if any credibility. All I heard from the so called experts lastnight was namecalling.

Another ISI agent, Khalid shaikh Mohammed (alleged mastermind of 9/11, 93 WTC bombing, and USS cole) called Atta the day before 911 giving final approval,(this call was intercepted by the NSA but they claim it wasnt translated until after 911.) as i've watched Iraq unfold? i could think of only a few plans that would do more to SLOWLY inflame the the passions and hatred for our country in the middle east..

I believe the government is guilty of covering up their ineptitude of 9/11 when they had sufficient evidence that something was imminent. As far as the government actually being the perps of it, no, that I don't believe.
