My portfolio is down the equivalent of a small car since last Friday. Took a big hit in both stocks and mutual funds.

I don't keep enopugh money in my broker accounts to buy a small car unless it is one already pretty depreciated. Still I got hit.

What a difference 6 weeks or so makes.

Today, my portfolio has climbed back and I now have that small car back, and it actually has enough additional to purchase gas for it.
