should be a great game...I pic the steelers..Bettis needs to capture that title before he retires.

I predict the SEAHAWKS!!! will melt down the STEEL CURTAIN!!!

24-17 : Seattle over Pittsburg

Posted by DWE on :

I want the Seahawks to take the championship just because of my 3 favorite Seahawks players from the past, QB, David Kreig, Receiver (now a REPUBLICAN Congressman), Steve Largent and LB, Brian Bosworth. [Smile]

Honestly, I can careless who wins.

If Pittsburgh wins, then that would be great for one of my FAVORITE QBs, Terry Bradshaw!

To me, there wasn't any better SuperBowl than seeing JOHN ELWAY win his first championship. And to be honest, I was weepin' if I was Jordan Knight, cryin' like a little girl when John Elway FINALLY became a WORLD CHAMPION. It was SAD that head coach Dan Reeves wasn't the coach of the Broncos anymore.

Posted by jordanreed on :

True..but i dont get the "weepin" comment..explain? Elway and Reeves were both great football minds and players..agreed

Posted by DWE on :

Yes..... I will admit, tears were pouring out of my eyes when it finally happened..... John Elway winning his VERY FIRST SUPERBOWL RING!

I don't think I cried that much since the "NOT GUILTY" verdict of O.J. Simpson in 95.

I knew SIMPSON was innocent since day one of the famous slow paced, L.A. highway chase in 1994.

Steelers all the way baby!

They helped get me to my FF Championship.

Plaxico Burress of the Giants made me settle for second. [Mad]

Have you ever read his book? He's definitly an a$$. Smart guy though, Denver fans bought tens of thousands of "No BOZOS" t-shirts with his face inside the red ghostbusters symbol. Little did they know it was his company that made the shirts. He was standing there in the Denver stadium loking at the crowd and counting $12+$12+$12.....

And yes, I remeber that game when we all watched Bo Jackson run Bosworth right over, I don't think he even slowed down, lol.

Bo Jackson was the real deal, it's too bad about his hip replacement.

Posted by LEO on :

yep, definitly a sports renessaince man.

Posted by jordanreed on :

Posted by Highwaychild on :

He was unbelievable.
I've always been a Broncos fan,
but even I had a Bo Jackson jersey.lol

BO might of been the greatest of all time! I hate saying that,but... and his baseball talents were awesome..didnt he throw a guy out from deep left at first or home. i THINK IT WAS FIRST AFTER BO made a fantastic catch and the runner had to make it back to the bag

I SWEAR..... VINNY TESTAVERDE HAS BEEN AN ACTIVE QB SINCE I WAS STILL IN HIGH SCHOOL.

Has he made an announcement of retirement yet?

Posted by DWE on :

And when I was in High School, Testaverde was playin' for the Bucs in the late 80s, if I can recall.

Posted by jordanreed on :

isnt he one of "the greatful dead"?

Posted by DWE on :

No, that would be Jerry Garcia.....

Posted by jordanreed on :
