The Book Of Daniel. It's a great show!

It's also nice to know that in this country there can be shows such as this which encourage public discussion and debate-

What?!

Oh, never mind. NBC has cancelled the show under pressure from a 'fear and smear' e-mail campaign brought to you by the bigots at the American Family Association.

You forgot to add My Two Dads

Posted by DWE on :

I was never into My Two Dads. Greg Evigan who played one of the dads on the show will always be known as B.J. McKay from the hit 70s TV sitcom, B.J. and The Bear, featuring Claude Akins as Sheriff Elroy Lobo of Orly County, Georgia.

However, I was also into, when I was a kid and still am:

01. Alice (Mel's Diner)

02. Barney Miller

03. Gimme A Break

04. The Greatest American Hero

05. The Dukes of Hazzard (Original)

06. Diff'rent Strokes

07. What's Happening!!!

08. The Jeffersons

09. Sanford & Son (Aunt Esther was my favorite)

10. Leave it to Beaver

Is this topic plural or singular?

Who has time for TV?

My favorite is The World Series.

You asked.

Posted by bdgee on :

Well, yeah, BASEBALL....

anytime,

any game,

any team.

It's America's game.

As the man says, "Baseball is life!"

reaching back, eh?

Rocky & Bullwinkle ("Fractured Fairy Tales" those cats musta been hiiiiiighhhhhh)

Adams Family (John Astin!)

Groucho's show (from replays, can't remember the name right now, but it was live; once he had a contestant on who went on and on about her 12 kids and how much she loved her husband, etc and suddenly groucho deapans into the camera, "I love my cigar, too--but i take it out every now and again.")

Tarzan movies...with Johnny Wiesmuller

Tonight Show with Carson: since then *all* late-night TV is lame...

Gene Scott, pontificating about Greek and ancient Hebrew; it was kinda like "The Fugitive" in reverse: he'd go to make a point in his argument, and then chase it for 45 minutes...but the point always got away...

IWISHIHAD, Just messin' around here. It may have been the alchi. My head hurts bad today. I had to throw a jab at DWE for kicks.

Even though I did grow up watching the Dukes of Hazzard and I just couldn't wait for it to come on every weekend.

CRIME STORY (1986 to 1988) on NBC, Friday Nights at 10

Starring Dennis Farina as the Chicago Detective (Lt. Michael Torello) who then became a U.S. Marshal with the rest of his crew to bring down the Mob in Las Vegas mainly headed by Mafia Underboss, Ray Luca.

To me, that was one of the BEST "mafia versus cop" TV shows ever produced!

Don't watch too much tv anymore, but I CAN"T BELIEVE no one on this thread has listed "The Office". Possibly the best show on TV right now. Instead of picking the show up now you should rent the first season DVD to get started.

7 or 8 years back there was a great "alien" show call Roswell.
