Just wondering if anyone other than me is interested in baseball yet? What are your thoughts on interleague play? and Go O's!

Interleague play is a device installed by ad agencies. It's dull, meaningless, and insulting. Now, if you are a lover of all the hype that makes the NBA a joke rather than a sport, you'll love interleague play too. And, if you are thusly inclined, save yourself from eternal damnation by failing to ask me about designated hitters!

I do not like the interleague play, but thanks to yankees-mets cubs-chi sox ect sell out games I dont see an end to it anytime soon. As for the DH I am for it. How do you feel about the DH BDGEE?

Actually when I was a very young lad most of my family lived in Bangor Maine (Red Sox were the only show in town) and I grew up listening to my Grandmother scream at the television set at people like Bucky Dent. Too bad she never lived long enough to see the 2004 series. Although I have lived in New York for most of my life I only root for 1 team here and they suck! The New York Knicks *sigh*

I am orig from NC so we had no pro teams but before the Hurricanes came down I was an Islander fan, mainly cause Gilles. I just thought it was illegal to be a Sox fan in NY

As long as we can win a few with all our replacements, we should still be sitting pretty when all our starters come back. I said it last year and I am sticking with it, The O's will be in the post season this year! I hope. lol

Anyone that is surprised that Palmero was doping either never paid attention or doesn't understand baseball. The surprise is that he got away with it so long. He goes from a guy that in a good year might hit 7 or 8 homers to hitting 40 a year over a winter.......suuuuuuuure he started exercising, sure he did. And Pete Rose never bet on baseball!

On the news around here, they are saying Palmero is being investigated by some Congressional arm for perjury. The same writers that were blasting Canseco for saying he helped Palmero shoot steroids are now acting like they never believed Palmero.
Don't get the eastern games here on TV except on weekends and don't wartch them then. Constant Yankees and Red Sox fare gets old.
Hey, did you know the Rangers had the best shortstop in baseball before ARod went off to NY to be a 3rd baseman. Since then, the best shortstop in baseball isn't stuck playing 2nd and is actually playing short.

I think it is ok to lie to congress as long as you point your finger when you do it. I think I recall another clown lying to congress and pointing a finger and nothing happened. If Hillary is elected, what will he be called, I personally feel that 1st lady would fit well, but will he be the 1st Man? Surely no one would call him the 1st gentleman.

The only times he ever spoke to Congress was in delivering the State of the Union Address. Second, until the republican hate machine redefined it to please the less intellegent they thrive on, "sexual relations" strickly meant "intercourse" (that's an act that under suitable circumstances can result in a baby) between those of different sexes (and still does in intellegent discourse). Want an example of a liar to congress? Try Newt Gingrich, who was bribing a congressional employee not to bring sexual assault charges against him while he led that treasonous attack on the President of the United States. And look back in his pre-congressional days and notice it wouldn't be the first such hapening. But that wasn't testimony, even though it was before Congress, so it isn't illegal.
I never much cared for Clinton. He's not a champion of much I care about. BUT HE WAS HOUNDED BY A PURE PACK OF LIES AND I HATE THAT! It brought us to the state we now are in by denying the Administrative wing of our government the chance to lay grounds that would have prevented al Qaeda from ever being a force of any magnitude. Al Qaeda came into existance funded by illegal funding from our government pocketbook by republicans who refused to listen to anyone else. Man what happened to the A's last night, it was ugly, but I do not mind since it helped my O's. But I hate to see it happen to Zito. Zito has gotten a lot of support for his strike outs for troops campaign. I liked seeing Eric Brynes get the ovation he did though.
