Yes perception (and thought association) is wholistic and not bit-by-bit constrcution from neural cues. This is because, as Karl Pribram and others assert, brain processing is holographic or holonomic by which an object wave (with wave encoded data) merges with a reference wave (of memory associations) to produce an interference product (new association) in a chain of perceptual processing.

Neurons process data in wave form where wave fequency and amplitude can be represented in pulses of phase data.

The environment is also holographic - we don't sense objects in the environment, we sense wave information from the environment.

....Art ,I did not mean to interrupt your correspondence with Grynder,my point was simply this.You may be able to quickly decipher a persons poor spelling ,however the trick is trying to understand what they are trying to say.I just thought it would be more meaningful if I cleaned up that last post of mine.
