I vote for $1 and under forum instead of .10!

Posted by STOCKGANGSTA on :

me too

this is the busiest section of the forum and somethimes we arent able to see RUNNERS that are higher than .10

Posted by STOCKGANGSTA on :

dosent matter if its not called under $1

as long as we are able to post stocks higher than .10 [Big Grin]

Posted by The Phat Man on :

just call it "Penny Stock Forum"
thus implying anything under a buck.

yeah something like that

we need this to have everything beacuse this is the busiest past of the FORUM

Id be for it also, maybe even $5.00 and under. Thats mostly what I play, along with the occasional pinksheet lottery ticket. It may not be a bad idea to seperate the Pinksheets from the OTCs also. Just too many pinksheet junk stocks out there.

Glad you suggested this. I am tired of seeing stocks over .10 posted in this board. They say it's because they took away the other one, but this is still a .10 and under board.
I don't like taking the time to read something tht shouldn't be here.
How about one for each price. This one for .10, one for $1.00 and under and one for $5 and under.
That way, if people want to post a .25 one in the other boards, it would be appropriate in either.
We need someone to start yanking posts and threads that don't apply to the .10 and under.

can't get too many forums, fellas...

"over .10 works" (we've had it before)

"under $5" not bad--but what happens when you get a DBGF, NVAO, etc?

Posted by BENJAMINS on :

I like everything !!!!! what about stocks like FDSM that is about to cross over to $1 stocks, it traded 0.22 last week and now its trading for 0.93, Ask is now $1.10. Someone gonna move the thread to some other board? STOCKMANIA says can't we all get along???

Posted by BuyTex on :

Given an "over .10" forum, it presumably would have first been posted there, with no need to move it...

Posted by Bob Frey on :

So what should we call it?

Posted by JerZeyDeViL on :

I like it how it is =)

Posted by Forrestgump on :

Why not simply "Penny Stock Forum" like The Phat Man suggest it?

Posted by J_U_ICE on :

How about Macro Penny Stocks

Posted by m69jump on :

gump forrest nice..........

moonie

Posted by Livinonklendathu on :

Under $5 and an over $5.

Posted by Bob Frey on :

A penny stock is defined widely as a stock with a ask price of less than $5.00 last I knew.

Posted by m69jump on :

pennies anything under 5 bucks......... yes tradable trash wow

Someone suggested to separate pinks from OTC:BB and I think that's a great idea, because it divides forums by the risk level rather than the price.

I dont think we want to have to many forums, because there are really good people in each section that could provide advice in different categories.

How about:

1. Pinksheets
2. OTC:BB
3. NASDAQ/AMEX/NYSE

Regardless of the price range.

We all know that the price will increase as we move down from pinksheets to NASDAQ.

Any thoughts?

I see a few "forums" that aren't really used...but if allstocks were to "re-do" the things people would also "complain..."

Maybe things could be "re done" all at the same time...so that everyone is screwed...not just a handful...

I think that you should loose the 1)bottom feeders,2)Day trading, momentom, news and more,3)Swing traders, 4)Micro Penny Stocks Undr .10, 5)Stock picks
And only and have
1)Stocks .25 and under
2)Stocks under$1.00
3)Stocks a buck and up

I also think that you should have the "hop To' bar up Top...

You cant please everyone... [Big Grin]

Penny Stock Forum is good IF the price is posted at the same timein the headline. I don't think pinks vs. OB matters most just want to jump on what's moving..

Posted by Forrestgump on :

"Penny Stock Forum from .0001 to $5.00"

Posted by will on :

LOL

What's the difference? No one respects the forum title now, Everyone and anyone post what ever they feel like without consequence. You have what you want without having it.

Some folks do just play stocks under .10, and if they are anal, like I am, they find it very annoying to see a symbol, check the PPS only to find it is greater than .10.

The title of forum is "Micro Penny Stocks, Penny Stocks Under $0.10", not "Micro Penny Stocks I feel like posting because I don't have to pay attention to any rules". Might just be a stupid rule because obviously it can't be enforced. Kinda , sorta like making a law that eeryone has to cross at the corner.

Wow...
You really are a tattle tale aren't you? And bossy...that's why you have the "whistle" [Wink] !

All,

love the thread, good ideas.

Gonna move it to the "Allstocks Suggestions" forum, though, just for housekeeping...

again, good ideas...

Posted by will on :

Well, moving the thread here is certainly a way to make sure it dies. Subtle cencorship ???

I have complained about the "Micro Penny Stocks, Penny Stocks Under $0.10" forum, being contaminated for the past six months. Only to see no action taken to correct deliberate thoughtlessness and ignorance.

I'm sure burrying this thread/topic here will allow more of the same there ----> !!!!!

I think thats a good idea. This is obviously the main forum, why not expand it to $5.00 and under instead of being limited to just .10 and under. Quite a few forums Im a member of have a $5.00 and under, anything thats non-marginable. .0001 to .10 is a tight spread, most opportunities are outside that range, with less risk also. $5.00 and under would be a good change IMO.

Posted by BuyTex on :

well, I moved it, but it didn't close this one...

Will, it's an OMEN!

boy, you're gripey--first you note the loosey-goosey, willy-nilly post-anywhere you want, then complain about censorship....

Fine, now we have TWO threads... [Razz]

(I'll kill the other one...)

Posted by BuyTex on :

well, better not kill this one...

sorry for the confusion...

let's see what happens

will check back

Posted by will on :

Well Tex, I apologize for being gripy. and for my hipocracy complaining and suggesting breaking the "rules" of the "Micro Penny Stocks, Penny Stocks Under $0.10" forum, but seeing there are no rules there, and/or enoforcement of common sense rules, I guess is acceptable and certainly has been tolerated. So let me be guilty of being gripy, and only a follower for suggesting keeping the thread open on the Micro Penny Stocks, Penny Stocks Under $0.10 forum.

Personally, I guess I really don't care. I don't buy anything anyone posts on any forumn, unless it fits my model. I buy it as a result of my effort, not what anyone else says.

In conclusion, I really don't care, you're right, sometime I just enjoy arguing, and even being contemptible every so often.

lol, iss all good, man.

I doubt "under .10: going anywhere--I think the main question is whether to reinstate the "over .10" and if so, keep that name or have a new one...

At least, that's the way I understand it

Posted by will on :

Makes no difference what you change. I hold that there is enough noncaring, thoughtless, ignorant, asses here to post any price stock on any forum they please.
If the administration tries to police it they might have time to eat once a week.

Will...did you not get a good night sleep at the Holiday Inn? I don't think that I have ever read you in such a "grumpy mood"...PO'd...yes...grumpy no...

but your last sentence has a very small amount of "smile" in it... [Wink]

Posted by will on :

Got a real good night's sleep at the Holiday Inn Expressway after I bought more of that IGAI Wednesday at .0083.

I'm anal about things like under .10. Doesn't really bother me what anyone posts, just that they are so thoughtless and careless. They have the "Hot Stocks" forum, but they're probably afraid Purl Gurl will rip their faces off for posting trash there.

The whole problem could be solved, IF, when people START a thread, they put in the price of the stock at that time! Wasn't there a specific thread saying we should DO that?? It can't be that tough to do when typing out the title of a new thread!! That way, people who don't want to read about stocks over .10, won't have to waste their precious time opening up the thread, simple as that. So.. is there any way to enforce the price of the stock in the title? Lock the thread if no price? Heckifiknow.. must be something that can be done.

Posted by will on :

Good idea. It might lend some credibility to some of these horsecrap pump threads, and some accountability of the authors also.

Posted by 10of13 on :

Tex...I'm glad you're eating well..but I think Will is "right"...he's anal...lol [Razz]

Superbee....the thread on the "posting" of price was a suggestion...and after I posted it...some people agreed...and Bob kept it up top of the forum for a while...but people are back to not posting the price...

As for "deleting"...not sure that would be a good idea...could cause more harm than good...missed runners or what not...

yeah..maybe the "mods" (TEX) could "police" and change the title to include the price...even if they did that for a while..maybe people would start putting it up there on their own...but even the mods have a life...although i think that Tex just sits and eats in front of his 'putor all day [Big Grin]

under ten and under .50 are too similar to make different forums. Why don't you make a forum for sub-pennies and one for whole pennies? That seems to be the biggest life-style difference amongst forum members. I actually like it the way it is but maybe if it didn't say under ten more good over-ten picks would be talked about.

I generally look fo stocks from $1 to $5 that are oversold or dropped big from news. I try to avoid the commissions and the stocks are a little more solid than stocks in the penny range. My commissions with Scottrade are low for penney's $7 + 1/2% but on my Vanguard Brokerage where I recently bought 16,000 shares of TCLL for .23, my commission was $93.60. That's why I try to stay above a $1. Over $4 or $5 a share it is harder to get a large swing for a large profit. It would be nice for a $1 to $5 section. I spend a lot of time searching yahoo within that range. I've also made the majority of my money on stocks between $1 and $5.
