Can any of you experts here give me some info about which online brokers are good for trading options.
i use Scottrade for trading stocks but before i start using Scottrade for options, i want to get a second opinion.
Thanks a lot in advance !!

I have Scottrade too - have not done any options trading with them though. I also have Choicetrade, and have been doing all of my trading there - cheaper commissions (75 cents per contract in most cases). I have been very impressed with OptionsXpress as well, although I have not done any actual trading. That is who I would check out if you are looking for other brokers....(them and ChoiceTrade)
All IMHO

Hi netguy81,
I have Scottrade also.....but I opened a virtual account with OptionsXpress to do virtual trades & so I can get used to their format. It's ok...Scottrade is a tiny bit easier to use but I would rather keep my options trading with OptionsXpress for now....just my opinion.

Optionsxpress.com Tradestation.com
-not the cheapest,... -but the best. Look at their awards they get year after year.
-my 2 cents netdude ~ Chart

oh, Optionsxpress also has a pop up window where you can chat with LIVE help anytime when the market is open, --any questions you have....
-that's nice, used it alot

btw...
You can open an account online with Optionxpress and have full run of the site and not even have your account funded...
Virtual trading, and their charting (java charts w/Phophet charts) I use all the time for trying out things I come up with. Powerful charts you can resize and with cloning you can have several charts running at once.
