I would never buy into a stock just before a R/S.
Many folks get trapped into a stock at .0001 levels and once the reverse split happens, many will sell the stock and try to get some of their money back.

BTW, I think I may have figured out the math. Apparently they had an "option" that you could invoke as a stockholder to be exempt from any reverse splits for 12 months. Maybe some people did that and so only the shares of the people taht didn't do it will get reversed so the O/S won't reduce that much.

I saw that post today after the fact. Doesn't do me any good at this point. I watch the pending list for pre-14C's so I can dump the stock early before a R/S becomes effective. I thought by law they have to post a 14C before the effective date of the split. I guess not.

It's an old shell company that was either suspended or 'frozen' for several years and reinstated within the last 3 years. The CEO has a history with shells, so that's a good thing.
The o/s is super low too.
The BOD is pretty eclectic. The VP is a realtor and the secretary is a car wash owner/music afficinado.
Have calls/e-mails to T/A and BOD members. If I find something, I'll 'holla'.

Spoke to CEO- long story short- you won't be able to buy until after the r/s happens. He's trying to reduce the potential for manipulation. After the r/s and r/m happens, he has a couple of MMs ready to start trading this sucker.

Nope.
I'm not sure how they did it, but by getting an "Out of Certificates" status, they effectively shut down trading. CEO said they did it to get rid of speculators (guys like me who throw a few bones at a clean, low float shell hoping it goes LFZA/USSE on em), because they're a pain in the ass when you try and R/M, in his opinion.
Once the r/m and r/s happen, he'll file the necessary paperwork and they'll resume trading. CEO said he has a couple MMS on board,
He did the same thing with WCSC a few months ago. It's a VERY clean shell, with no excessive debt. So this homeboy goes out of the geek play realm and into the speculative realm. Check out WCSC- .40 to $5.00. Not too shabby- although it is thinly traded.

I don't think Glenn will be doing anymore 'special' deals anymore. I talked to him about 3 months ago during the whole UNTF deal. He was tired of all the phone calls from people asking him when they were gonna get their round-up shares; said he was averaging about a couple dozen calls a day at one point and it was a big distraction. He said that next time he would do "something different" instead of rounding up odd lots to accomplish his objectives- but didn't say what...
He was a real nice guy too. He joked about all the lunatics calling him- people from as far away as Germany were calling him.
Anyway, my 2 cents.

The reverse split and forward split described below was originally announced on January 9, 2007. I expected them to be poor and they are. I am going to gamble on the going private going through. They need the money saved.
Stock looks like strong support near $5 how many time can you get a 100% oppt.
Tommorrow or over the next two to three weeks I expect it to bottom near $5.

Robb, post stuff like that on the hot stocks board. This one is essentially just for R/S. And as far as I know, Mag does this just for informative purposes out of the goodness of his heart, most don't offer profit potential.

FWIW- even though JLN has not showed up on the daily list, it has been pulled from a couple of my accounts. It's a little peculiar.
There's some talk that they're being put on hold to perform some sort of share count, but that sounds fishy- and I don't know if that would be legal. I'm trying to get my broker to tell me what's up, but I've been too lazy/busy at work to call.
Anyway- caveat emptor.
