I was wondering about this for awhile. I spend most of my time buying and selling pennys. I'm not a rich guy but I try to make about 20-30% on each trade. Most penny trades don't seem to be large amounts of money, maybe a few thousand dollars at the most. My question is what if someone put hundreds of thousands into a penny. Could you with that amount of shares bought, with a low float stock, make nice profits at will? Throwing enough money in could double the pos and you could double your money without even selling all your shares before it drops. Is this true? Would this work?

+10 .. you wouldn't get filled for that many shares and by the time you did the price will plummet causing you losses... in Big Board stocks you could pull it off though... on a sidenote it could be possible in pennies if you spread your shares across the board throughout several brokers instead of just one broker...

It's doable, you just have to have two things.
1) A bunch of gullible people willing to buy when you're selling 2) No conscience
Just look at Shakerz and people of that ilk. that's exactly what they do half the time.

Have been reading a lot on post concerning penny stocks. Just wondering, what would be the average profit, one would make on a round-trip. Somewhere in the ballpark will be fine. chuck

My thought is that the original amount can't be too large because it would move the price too fast and you would be averaging up. Put in maybe 20k-30k with a low pps gaining a few million shares if the stock is already running others would already be in on it. Say it goes up 200-300%. You wouldn't even have to sell all of your shares to make a nice profit. All shares left would just be free.

Jesse did a bunch of things in his time stock and commodities/futures wise... You would have to reread his book Reminisces of a Stock Operator to find any particular situation...

and it's so remarkable how current his "particulars" remain
