What do you folks do when you need to trade away from home?
I've used a computer at work a couple of times, and then cleared my history, cache and auto-complete, etc. afterwards. Recently, though, I got a message from the tech guy who says that clearing histories, etc, is against company policy.
I thought then that maybe I could use the wireless network at the library right after work (before market close), but I'm worried that this could compromise my account data. Does anyone every trade over public wireless? And if so, what precautions should be taken? I'll be on vacation in June for several weeks and would like to be able to monitor my accounts.
I'm beginning to think my only option may have to be using the phone.

Jo4321 I have traded while on the road, using wireless and times when just stopping into Kinko's in Honolulu for example, never had a problem. The cache empties out when you log off. I tried it and logged back in and it was gone. The library was the same. As far as wireless, just make sure your updates are current and you have all the bells and whistles ie: firewall and virus protection and you'll be fine.
Enjoy the vacation and have fun and may your account be green !!!
