I'm new to the penny stock market. I've been watching a stock that moves a minimum of 0.005 pretty much daily. Up and down. I bought in at 0.025 and wanted to sell at 0.030 but when it hit 0.030 it wouldn't sell. Is this common/normal? The volume rises on all drops so people are buying. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

well is the b/a 025x030 trading at 030? if that's the case, you can only sell at 025. the bid needs to get up to 030 in order for you to sell. (I'm assuming your doing a limit order)
Also, what's the stock and volume? Low volume could be a problem also, and if it's a greysheet, good luck selling

may need to wait for the ask to go to .035 or if you realy want out place your sell order just behind the ask at .029 if buys are comming in at the ask they should take it. GL - btw what stock?

wgr270 BTW, if you are going to trade pennies you MUST HAVE real time level 2 quotes. I use alphatrade. fifty bucks a month - worth EVERY PENNY!!! saves a fortune knowing when to buy and sell. makes me 10 times what it costs each month!!

Also, if you do at least 5 trades a month, the streamer is free, and Level IIs only cost an additional $10 each ($10 for just pink sheets or $10 for NASDAQ - $20 for both)
