I have seen some trully amazing DD hounds on this board and am needing to learn more about a couple of companies.
When calling a company, what are the questions I should be asking them to obtain the most useful information regarding their operations and share structure?
I know what I am looking for but am unsure how to go about asking many of the questions that lead to those answers. Is it a direct approach, does one try to "befriend" the person, ask indirect questions?
These are for many of the standards need-to-know things, A/S, float, O/S, any new news, qrtly filings, etc.
What are the things that I need to be asking to further my knowledge of a company beyond the simple obvious questions?
