I wrote a computer program that scans all stocks everyday to look for patterns that I like. Once I narrow the list down I use yahoo and other sites to gather news about the company. pretty simple and it save a lot of time.

One of the things is that several "traders" use the 52 week low (or bottom)to get in a stock..so it will "trigger" alerts to traders to buy...which increases the volume and the "supply and demand", as a result the PPS will begin to rise...this is just one way to "know" or hope, that the stock will bounce...lots of things factor into the "bounce theory"

one way is to try to figure out when a stock's been overbought and/or oversold by using oscillators/indicators...
